A few days ago I posted my article about ADD on the website Ubersite.com. I had no idea that it would generate so much controversy. Lots of people were instantly all over me trying to say that I was an asshole, that I had no idea what I was talking about, that I was �spewing out self-righteous bullshit�. People would tell me that they have ADD and I shouldn�t write about it without experiencing it. Normally this would discourage a person. When so many people lash out against you, it makes you feel less intelligent. I found it hilarious.

Why? You might ask� because every single one of them ended up agreeing with what I was saying. The next obvious question is �Then why did they write the hateful posts about you?�. It�s really simple. They did not know what I was saying. For those of you that have read my article about the overperscription of ADD medication, that is all it is. I�m writing about the overperscription of ADD medication. I do not say that I think bad parenting causes ADD. I do not say that ADD is a made up disease. Those were the leading criticisms of my article. All I say is that bad parents get their kids ADD medication when the kid does not need it. If you think that I said something else, you are wrong. Brush up on you reading comprehension skills. I know schools still teach it, but perhaps they need to do a better job.

This is an actual reply to my post on Ubersite, �ADD is real but not as large as its being medicated. Too many kids are being prescribed ADD drugs for no reason. Just because theyre rambunxious and overactive. Maybe if you stopped giving them the sugar pops in the morning and a nice thing of �All natural� apple juice chock full of sugar theyd be fine� Fuck you. You have no clue what your talking about.� The first point he makes is exactly what I said. �Too many kids are being prescribed ADD drugs for no reason�. He manages to put into one sentence, what I took a whole paper to tell you. Then he tells me �Fuck you. You have no clue what your talking about.� We said the same thing (he also use your instead of you�re, but most Americans do that anyways so I won�t go into it), and then he tells me that I don�t know what I�m talking about. Please.

It�s amazing to me that so many people don�t know how to read (I know they all understood what the words meant, but very few understood what the article meant, which is the key to reading). Why stupid people are allowed to do things in America other than menial labor is beyond me.
