:BioScan:
Kendra (or A.K.A Lady Dagger by most) was born into this crazy world in Kansas City MO on a cold and blizzard afternoon at home on February, 5th, 1979 Aquarian to the T with lots of Gemini in various parts of her astrological house, those that know her well know how much this makes sense and suites her.
She was raised by Hippy Geek Pagan parents, spent a good portion of her later childhood attending and being brought up and raised around various Sci-Fi Fantasy conventions all over the greater South and Midwest from the years of 1989 to the present day.
Geekdom is in her blood as well as in her upbringing, which her upbringing was by far not normal by any sense,
This shows predominantly both through her art and when around in person.

A pretty well known staple in the Southern Con circuit, as well as the Alternative Goth/ and Fetish club scene and miscellaneous other type events and places and subcultures.
Has lived in a few various states and cities in the south and traveled a bit in her late teens, but mainly has spent the greater portion of her teen and adult life in and all over Atlanta GA.
Currently and temporarily residing in Columbia SC, with her sister and Brother-in-law and their Daughter, gathering her resources, fervently working on new works daily, honing her skills, constantly, building her portfolio and preparing for next year when she will move out to California to Pursue the great challenges and wonders of which is Art School and to tackle the mass art scene out there.

A renaissance women in a sense with everything in her life as well as artistically.
Life long artist self taught "Aspiring Alt Photographer", Digital manipulation artist, traditional medium, and occasional fetish/alt fashion Model/Burlesque performer on the side.
Her artistic styles and taste are as diverse as her life in general, and she gets her inspiration from a plethora of muses and other artist, and whatever life throws at her that day. Ranging from fashion and foreign magazines and history and media, to Comic book and the anime world, horror and gore, erotic, tattoo art, to classic painters and writers, to music, and just those other creative souls she meets and or knows, to just people watching and life observing. To pulling from her own past and personal experiences.

Never limiting herself to just one set type of art, or medium, always trying out new types, or learning as much as she can about one format or medium, and at most times mixing all the mediums together as much as possible in each new piece.
Adventurous and risk taking, and always trying to push herself and the envelope in her artistic endeavors, yet still trying to solidify her own brand of unique style that can be recognized and easily traced back to her.

Favored art styles and mediums used at moment: Chinese Brush Style, Sumi ink and Watercolor, sometimes mixed with other paint elements, and her own style.
Photoshop CS and digital art.

Favored and most used art tool: Her trusty Sony SLR Digital Camera (hopes to one day move up to a Canon MarkII) Used in one shape or form with everything artistically that she does. Never is apart from it.

Favorite style of art: Dark, and surreal, emotive, pinup, sci-fi and fantasy, anime, realism all of it and then some.

Favorite Artist and biggest inspirations and influences: Andy Lee, Salvador Dahli, Mike Weaver, David Mack, Michael Manning, Oliva, Louis Royo, Brom, Trevor Brown, Tsubasa, Nigel Desade, Dave Mckeen, Brian Froud, Giger, Soyarama, Jaime Hewlett, Tim Burton, The Herndez Bro's, my Mum, to name a few.

Favorite Genre of music (and what also inspires her creativity And fuels her muse)
Lots of German Industrial and Ebm, Trance,Techno, punk and rockabilly.
All of it and then some.
Inspired greatly by Tori Amos, BT, Wolfsheim, Qntal, The Pogues, DR Demento, and the Muppet Show. And the letter F.
