The 5 year anniversary of Ambers death

Maybe in another life/I could find you there/Pulled away before your time/I can't deal it's so unfair/And it feels/And it feels like/Heaven's so far away/And it feels/Yeah it feels like/The world has grown cold/Now that you've gone away

JC stood looking out of the window of his two story house. He had just moved in about a month ago with his new wife. Lacey after then had their first child. They had a little girl three weeks ago. Named her Amber Leighanne Chasez. In the his thoughts he was picturing his sister, playing with his new little daughter. Amber always loved kids. Lance and her were planning on starting their family once the tour got over and things settled down. That never happened.

Jace honey? Shaken from his thoughts he turned to Lacey.

Ya?

Jade and Chris are here for you. she smiled softly and touched his shoulder lightly as he walked down the stairs towards his friends. He sighed when he looked at the two of them.

Hey Josh. Jade said walking up and giving him a quick hug. Chris and Jade had moved three hours away from Josh after they got married.

Hey. he whispered.

You ready? Chris asked handing JC his coat from the coat hanger.

More ready than Ill ever be. JC tugged on his jacket and followed Chris and Jade out to their car, hopping in the back seat. Shoot. Ill be right back. He climbed back out of the car and headed back inside and too the refrigerator. He opened up the door and picked up the two dozen black roses from the top shelf. Amber loved black roses for some strange odd reason. He smiled to himself and shut the door to the fridge and ran back out to the awaiting car. Jade smiled back at him as he shut the door behind him. Soon the car lurched forwards headed back to the dreary cemetery.

Leaving flowers on your grave/Show that I still care/But black roses and Hail Mary's/Can't bring back what's taken from me/I reach to the sky/And call out your name/And if I could trade/I would

The sleek black car, slowly pulled into the cemetery and immediately tears sprung to JCs eyes. He hated this place. He wished that he never had to come here EVER. The car slowed to a stop and he climbed out once again and trudged over to the gravesite. He slowly put the roses down on the ground where his sister lay peacefully. He pulled one of the roses out and laid it on the grave next to hers. Lance. Why did he have to leave too?

Amber. Lance. I know that somewhere you two are listening to me and probably telling me to cheer up but I cant bring myself to do that. Amber, you were the only sister I ever had. I shouldnt have let you go on that damn trip. It was my fault that you died. All *MY* fault. By this time JC had tears flowing down his cheeks steadily. AMBER!!! he yelled into the air.

  ********

Chris let me go over there. Jade said looking over to him.

Jade, he needs this right now. We can come back later and see them. He needs his time to talk alone with them. Chris looked over at his friend. JC was on his knees his head in his hands sobbing. God Jade.

I know Chris.

**********

Lance, please let me do something. I cant stand watching him like this. Amber said tears welling up in her eyes.

Honey. He wont be able to see you.

Now, how do you know that?

I just do.

Lance. I am going to do something damnit.

*********

JC stuttered when he looked up. Am-Am-Amber?

Yes JC. Its me. I have come to say good-bye. I have little time now. I just want to let you know how I feel.

This-this isnt real. Your not here, your supposed to be dead.

I am dead Josh. Now listen. You need to take care of your daughter and family now. Whats in the past is the past. Move on and get on with your life. You cant keep on dwelling on it. I know you think this is your fault, but its not. I chose to go on that trip. You take care of yourself please? For me?

Amber. You cant go. Not now. he watched as her figure started to disappear.

I love you Josh. Dont forget that. Goodbye Josh. with those final words she vanished back up to the heavens.

Goodbye Amber.

That was the last time anyone ever saw Amber. Even though she wasnt with them in the flesh anymore. Her sprit always remained with them.
