| CHAPTER 7 Blaze woke up and stretched. She rolled over onto her side to find that Jimmie was no longer by her side. She yawned and sat up, throwing her feet over the side of the bed, onto the cool floor. Stretching again she stood up and made her way out into the other part of the bus. �Sleep well?� Jimmied asked as he saw Blaze enter the kitchen. �Yeah. Did I fall asleep watching the movie or something and how the heck did I get to the bed?� She yawned again and sat down at the little table. �You did fall asleep during the movie and I picked you up and carried you to bed.� He grinned and sat a plate of hot food in front of Blaze. �Thank you.� She smiled and looked down at the food. Pancakes, Bacon, Eggs and toast. �This looks yummy, thank you so much!� She grinned and grabbed some clean silverware from the counter top and sat back down. Jimmie sat across from her and sat his plate down before reaching over and grabbing the two glasses of Orange Juice. He sat one in front of Blaze and she smiled. �Dig in.� She giggled and slowly started to eat her food. ************* Amber stood outside in the brisk sunlight and stretched. She had just gotten back from running a few miles around the entire pit area. She looked at herself and giggled. She had thrown on a pair of Junior�s sweat pants and one of his tee shirts. People looked at her like she was crazy when she was out that early running. The door opened from the bus causing Amber to look up. �You look better than I do in those sweats.� �Good morning to you too,� She laughed looking over her shoulder at him. �What the heck are you doing up so early?� �I�m always up this early. I just got done running a few miles so now I am cooling down.� She laughed at his expression. �What? You never do this?� �NO!� he laughed. �I�m lucky to be out of bed at ten. It�s a hazard of mine.� She chuckled and made her way up the stairs to where he was standing. �We will have to change that now won�t we?� She licked her lips and quickly brushed past Dale. �You are a tease.� �Am not! I didn�t even do anything.� She laughed and grabbed her bottle of water off of the table and took a long drink. �What was that whole, licking your lip thing than huh?� He walked over to her and kissed her. �My lips we�re dry.� She giggled and walked back into the bedroom quickly changing out of Dale�s clothes. She walked back into the kitchen area wearing what she had wore to the club. �Be careful wearing that around all the horny racers out there. They will try to attack you.� He smirked. �Like you?� �Come on. Let�s go meet up with Blaze and Jimmie.� �I don�t want too because that means it�s almost time for you guys to leave and I don�t want to see you all leave already.� She sighed and followed him out of his bus. �I told you we would see each other again. What? Don�t you believe me?� He grabbed her hand and held onto it tight as they weaved through the buses and cars. �I don�t know if it�s really that. I guess I just expect you to forget about me once you get back on the road and do your normal thing. Another girl will come to take my place and that is more than fine. I understand that you are young and I�m sure you don�t like the long distance type thing. The last two days we�re wonderful.� �So, you think that I am going to go and pick up a girl at each stop we make?� He glanced at her. �No. Well.....� �I�m not like that okay. I just don�t run around and sleep with whomever I can find. They have to be special to get some lovin from me.� He smiled slightly at her. �Okay.� She leaned against the wall of a bus as Junior went up and knocked on the door. Jimmie was quick to open it. �Time already?� he pouted. �I know what you mean.� He grinned and picked at some lint on his pants. �What is wrong with you? Your never happy at this hour of the day.� Jimmie raised a brow and held the door open for him and Amber to come inside. �Just in a good mood.� �JUNIOR GOT LAID!� Blaze piped up from the table. �Shut up!� Amber snapped her head in the direction of Blaze and blushed furiously. �Ohhh...Look at Amber. I think she is a Crimson color. She got the nookie last night.� Blaze just laughed and sipped on her drink. �It�s time for US to go now, Blaze.� Amber sneered at her friend and grabbed her arm. �Yes mother.� She rolled her eyes and stood up, glancing over at Jimmie. She leaned up and kissed him sweetly on the lips. �I guess I will talk to you later. You have my number and address and anything else that you would need.� She sniffled. �Now don�t you go crying on me,� Jimmie smiled at her. �We will see each other in a few weeks. I�ll fly you out or something.� He gently brushed his knuckles across her cheek. Blaze sucked it up and forced a smile on her face. �I know.� She turned to Amber. �Are you ready to go?� �Yeah.� Amber sighed and turned to Dale whom immediately covered her mouth with his in a passionate kiss. Once he pulled away, she felt her knees go weak. �So, I guess I will talk to you later?� She toyed with the buttons on his shirt. �You know it. I will call you when I get the chance.� He smiled and kissed her again. �I will miss you though. I have this picture to remind me of you.� He produced a picture from his back pocket. �WHERE in the HELL did you get that?� She grabbed the picture. �Who took this?� �Casey took it and gave it to me. He said that you looked all cute in the rain.� �Yeah, like a drowned rat.� She stared at the picture. It was from the first night they met. She was soaking wet and her hair was plastered to her face. �Can�t you like get a different picture or something?� �I know!� Jimmie grinned and ran back to the back of his bus and produced a camera. �We can take pictures of all of us. Amber and Junior, go over there.� he pointed towards the couch. The couple went over there and sat down. Dale was quick to pull Amber onto his lap, making her giggled. �SMILE!� The couple smiled at the camera and the flash quickly went off. �Now, I get to take the picture.� Amber stood up and grabbed the camera from Jimmie and pushed him and Blaze towards the couch. Junior was now behind Amber making faces at the couple on the couch. �Smile you two.� She laughed as she quickly took the picture.
