| MEET MY SORORS |
| As I stated, I became a member of the illustrius Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on May 2, 1999 in Shreveport Louisiana. I was ONE of two CHAOTIC sorors made in the Spring of 1999 from the campus of Louisiana State University in Shreveport. As a soror I have participated in -The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's "Race For the Cure" for the past 2 years. (This hits close to home since my "AKA Mom", my mentor Mrs. Cheryl Denson passed away from the disease in 2001.) -Sickle Cell Can Shake with DLO chapter in Shreveport -Volunteered with the Natchitoches Boys and Girls Club .I hope to make my contribution more in the "Spirt of AKA" as a graduate member! |
