Notes: Hmm. I, personally, prefer hearing the live stuff a bit better. If you can make it straight through this
recording and sit silently, studying the sounds & analyzing it all --- you would be the biggest fan-boy on Earth.
This is definitely not for the faint of heart & is very, very abrasive to listen to. As a comparison, this is more like
Reznor's 'Pretty Hate Machine' than it is to any music Tool or APC put out but without a doubt not as inspired as
NIN. For a retrospective analyzation of Maynard's ascent into band-ome, this is definitely a key to hear. Lots of
electronic noise & weird sound effects make this recording interesting, at least. The live version even has an
early nod to Sober (walking like a starving butler, who among the finger rests) which is not on this studio version. I
must say, 'Wait Now, Cry Now' is a really, really cool tune. Probably the highlight. As a whole, this recording is
an interesting examination of "so far, so good, so what?" DYKWIM?  There is a slight layer of fuzz that coats the
recoridng but is not bad by any means. There are, unfortunately, loads of MP3, SHN & incomplete versions of
this floating around in collections & on the Internet. There are alos various cassette > CDR rips.
