During a night that most if not all Undead wait for, a moonless night occured where Uthgol was shrouded in darkness, the horizon and obsidian sky seemed to melt, only defined by the dappled stars in the sky. That was the perfect time the Chimera was waiting for, when the Shrine was emptied of monsters which happened rarely, to slink virtually unseen into the Shrine. A dark-colored Gryphon, it was, carrying an unmoving bundle carefully in its hooked beak checked the Shrine's contents from the opening, before darting in, trying to keep out of the light of the burning wreath. It deposited the bundle in the corner that would be the most hidden from the main room's entrances and exits. Once the task was complete, the Gryphon slipped out just as stealthily as it had entered, leaving whatever it was carrying behind. The next morning, a bundle of black fur and feathers clumsily padded out of its hiding place, cobalt eyes squinted at the sunlight that poured into the Shrine and reflected off the silvery, almost metallic, beak. Large, rounded ears flicked as sounds were heard approaching from the meadow where newlings now emerge. A pang of fear shot through the Gryphon with the awkwardly-proportioned ears and paws, before she quickly exited the shrine, almost as a drunkard would, seemingly ill-used to those large paws.

She found herself drawn to the direction of Larou Valley, where she met her first Chimera, virtually: Whindanser. They connected immediantly with matching playful personalities and the taste for fish. Whindanser then took the little Gryphon--now affectionatly named Toasty for the ambered smoke she seemed to huff up--to see Galenth and Falicorn. Shy at first, Toasty would hide behind Whindanser and peek out at the duo of more intimidating Gryphons, but it did not take long for her to be just as outward to them as she was to Whindanser. She was taken into the Guardians and made alot of friends there. It was there where she said her first words, courtesy of Whindanser. "Fluffy Fally!". Everyone involved with her was thrilled, especially Whindanser. Time passed and she leaned how to write, sorta, with the occasional misspelling and backwards letters, and her speech was a little off sometimes. Every now and then, others would ask her where she had come from, but she would always answer with a shrug and a squeak. Not out of the uncaring to answer the question .. She just didn't know. From when she woke up and before, everything was like a smokey labyrinth. It got to no one asked her anymore, which was completely fine with her .. But sometimes at night, that question would rise in her dreams, turning those dreams into raging nightmares of fire and blood. She's afraid of being alone, and would sometimes begin shivering uncontrollably and blank out, as if in a trance.

More time had passed, and she began noticing that less and less of her Guardian friends began waking up, until that the only ones awake were those she didn't know. It terrified her to the point of leaving the sadly Guardians. She turned to one of the few friends she had that wasn't in the Guardians, Grimwulf. He had told her of the clan he was in, how it was mixed. So why not give it a try? So she was accepted into the Republic of Khazaon, where almost instantly she warmed up to everyone, including the infamous Pharoah Mummy, Netze. The Republic has made her feel welcomed and loved, even if no one acknowledged her other than a pat or nod. She enjoys the company of her friends more than anything else in the world. Friends like Rythgen, her own presonal Tedditaur and candy dispenser. Though, those nightmares still plague her, and most of her days are lived in fear of an unknown enemy. She hides from that fear behind her veil of happiness and notorious carefreeness.

The story behind the fish amulet is also sorta interesting, but I'll keep it short. The moment she saw the shiny blue fish amulet, she felt a pang of remembrance of something. She couldn't quite break what it was she was feeling, so she took the fish amulet and has carried it with her constantly, rarely leaving it out of her sight.
