Remember Me? Chapter 8 "Fat face chocolate huh?" Trinity said with a small laugh. "Yea�." He said as he stared down at her. "Nick�I really can�t." she said as she pulled away from him. "But�" he said as he stared at her an expression she couldn�t quite decipher filled his face. "Hey Nick�the last 7 years we have been fine without each other�We�ll be fine now." she said as she plastered a brave smile on her face. Nick stared at her in disbelief. "Have a good life OK? Be happy" she said gently as she hesitantly brushed her full lips against his cheek. Watching her walk away quickly and get into a black car Nick slowly sat himself on the wet grass ignoring the fact that his pants were beginning to get wet. "Nick?" BJ said softly as she squatted down and stared into his crestfallen face. "She called me Nick" he said simply."So you will be ok?" BJ asked softly as she watched Trinity look anxiously at the plane. "Sure I will" Trinity said with a bright smile as she hugged her tightly. "Thanks for being here for me" she whispered. "Any time�.Trinity�..I mean�Nick�maybe you should tell him why...." she said her voice trailing off. "Hey�I will be fine. The doc�s are taking good care of me. And Nick will get over this brief upset in his life. Besides I hear they are starting a tour soon so that will be good for him" Trinity said as she began walking towards the gate. "Hey Trinity?" BJ called out after her. "What?" she asked as she glanced back her smoky hair falling in face "You aren�t even going to cry?" BJ asked as she watched Trinity�s face pass through several emotions "BeeJ�.I have only really cried twice in my life. The second time was when my mother passed away�and the first�Well I have already cried for Nick" she said quietly that BJ had to strain to hear her. Watching the willowy figure disappear into the gateway she sighed."Where were you?" Nick asked the minute BJ popped into the front door. "Out" she said vaguely. "BJ" Nick said as he stepped in front of her. Looking up at his large frame she casted her eyes downward "I took Trinity to the airport" she said quietly. "Oh" Nick said as he turned around and walked away.Next: Chapter 9 |
