Loving More Than Just Life Chapter 2 Your rushing around trying to make sure everything is perfect for when he picks you up. You have 15 minutes left, but you've been getting ready for over an hour. The buzzer on your intercom goes off and you check everything one last time, flattening out the hem of your dress with your hands, you push the button. "Hello?" you ask. "Hi Randy, it's me, Kevin." says that oh-so-sexy voice. "Come on up." you say. You love hearing his voice. The other night on the phone when he called to plan the date, was like heaven on earth to you. There's a knock on you door. You glance around one last time to make sure everything is perfect and open the door. He's much hotter then you remember, and his sexy-eyes are even more sexy. He's wearing a casual out to dinner suit and holding out some flowers. "Gosh, I heard you were old fashioned, but I didn't expect flowers." you say, taking them and putting them in the kitchen. Kevin shrugs, but blushes slightly. "How are you? You getting to be more on time?" he asks. "I'm great, and I'm here aren't I?" you reply. "Yes, unless this is a very real dream." he says. You smile. "So... you ready to go?" you ask. "Of course. We're going to that French restaurant downtown." he says, holding out his arm for you to take it. "Wow, you really are old fashioned." you remark, taking his arm. "Hey, if it ain't broke, why fix it?" Kevin replies. You just smile and shake your head. "Oh gosh, this place is really classy, you really don't have to go through all this trouble for me. I'm happy with a cheese burger and fries." you say, looking around the restaurant as your seated. Kevin pulls out your chair for you, then sits across from you. "I just want to impress you on the first date. Next time, cheese burger and fries." he says jokingly. You can't believe it, next time? You just can't stop smiling. Just after your waiter comes and takes your orders, two teenage girls come up to the table looking very nervous. "Excuse me, are you Kevin Richardson from the Backstreet Boys?" the older one asks. "If so, can we have your autograph?" "Um... yeah, sure." he says and signs a couple napkins for them. They barely even glance at you, but Kevin gives you an apologetic look. "Well, at least we aren't at a place where alot of teenage girls are. They were probably just here with their parents." you say. "Yeah, hopefully." Kevin replies. You finish laughing and lean against the door, grinning at Kevin. He smiles. "You know what? I had a really great time tonight." you say, hoping he'll kiss you. You feel like your in High School. "I did too. It was really fun." he says. After the restaurant, you went to a dance club. "Well, I guess this is good night." you say shyly. "I guess so." he leans down and kisses you lightly on the mouth. When the kiss ends, you both smile at each other. "Call me sometime and we'll see about that cheese burger." you say. "I will, good night Randy." "Good night Kevin." |
