It ended up that Nick bought just about everything which Ashley wasn't very happy about but on the other hand couldn't really do that much about either. "Baby, I�m hungry, wanna get somethin to eat?" Nick asked just wanting an excuse to put all the bags down really. "That's my Nick, always eating. Yeah, let's eat." Ashley replied as they walked to the food court to find a place to eat. They picked the most famous McDonalds which Nick had pretty much all the say in picking. Ashley didn't care where they ate though. She wasn't all that hungry anyway. Everything was fine, they were eating, talking, and laughing away. Just having the usual good time they always brought each other when they went out. "Baby, is that all you're gonna eat? I mean come on fries and a coke was never really all that filling for me." Nick stated adding a goofy accent to it at the end and patting his stomach. When he noticed that Ashley didn't joke back or say anything at all back for that matter he looked up to see a very pale Ashley. "Ash, what's wro..." Nick was cut off when he suddenly felt two hands go over his eyes. "Guess who?" Nick thought for a minute, then it came to him Sara. He quickly pulled away and turned to glare at her. "What do you want?" He asked her very rudely still glaring that nasty look at her. "What do you mean what do I want?" She leaned closer, "I want you." She whispered in his ear while rubbing her hands down his chest. "Who's your friend Nick?" She asked looking up and actually noticing Ashley. This was all Ashley could handle. She felt very uncomfortable and out of place. This was one time when she felt like she didn't fit with Nick. She quickly got up and ran off. She ran all the way to the middle of the mall where the fountains were and sat on a empty bench. She placed her elbows on her knees, put her head in her hands and cried, something she had done too often lately. She cried too much but she couldn't help it all that much. Something about seeing them together made all her feelings of hurt and anger come back. "She's my girlfriend and if you don't mind I�m gonna go catch her." He got up to leave but she pushed him back down, "Girlfriend as in? The one that knows about me and don't care. Pretty odd way of showing she don't care don't you think? I mean she looked like she was gonna cry when she ran off. I know how hard it is to share you Nicky, you're way too irresistible." She began running her tongue over his ear and sucking softly. Nick put his hand over her mouth to indicate her to stop. "What, you don't like that Nicky?" Sara asked pouting a little and put her lips back to his ear and began doing it again. "Sara, sit down." Nick said with nothing but anger in his voice. Sighing loudly Sara pulled herself away from Nick and sat in the chair across from him. "What's wrong Nick?" Sara asked curious as to why he all of a sudden was pushing her away. She gently eased her foot in his lap and began rubbing his inner thigh. He pushed her foot down. "What is wrong with you today?" "Listen, I made a mistake with you, that night was...stupid, really stupid. It should have never happened and I�m starting to realize that if I hadn't got myself halfway drunk it wouldn't have happened. I love Ashley more than anything. What we did hurt her so bad. It killed me to see her like that. She left me over it and it made me realize just how much I really do love her and believe it or not it hurt me too. It hurt me to know that I would stoop so low and hurt her that bad. She trusted me and I couldn't handle keeping myself from taking advantage of a girl who obviously got what she wanted considering the way you threw yourself at me. I'm sorry about everything but I can't...just really forget about me and that night. I need to go get Ashley." And with that he got up and walked away leaving a speechless Sara sitting at the table. Nick ran to the place he knew she would be. "I was right, the fountain always lured her to it." He said aloud to no one in particular but himself. He walked over to her and knelt down in front of her. "Baby?" Nick whispered softly. "I really don't feel like talking to you and I�d appreciate it a whole lot if you would leave me alone. And another thing, please refrain from the baby shit from now on. You know I must be really stupid to actually believe you wanna be with me. Just sex with me too huh?" She let out with a bitter laugh, her voice full of the tears she was shedding. She was so mad at him, she couldn't even stand to look at him. "Ash..." Nick spoke up. He was gonna apologize but she wouldn't let him say anything. She kept cutting him off. "Save it Nick, will you do me one last favor before you totally kick me out of your life. It isn't much but I�d like a ride to Emily�s' if you could spare the time to drive me. I mean since Sara's here and all, I really wouldn't wanna ruin your fun or anything by needing a way home but I figured since you were the one who brought me here you could take me ho..." Ashley was talking a mile a minute just rambling on and on and she didn't even notice Nick's lips moving closer to hers. She pulled away quickly. "Nick, don't. Please just take me to Emilys', I really can't handle anymore lies right now." Ashley replied with more tears coming. She was trying to hold them back but she couldn't at all. It was a useless try. "No, ba...Ash, no. Listen to me I can explain ok?" Nick said pleading with her. "Nick, I�m sick of listening, I wanna go. Please just take me. I don't wanna be here. The one place I thought I wanted to be forever was with you but I guess things change." Ashley let out more sad than ever. "You know what? Forget it, I�ll just go call Em. Sorry for actually thinking I had another chance with you." She walked off leaving Nick sitting there. "Damnit!" He pounded his fist into the bench hard almost breaking it. "Shit, that fucking hurt!"
