Heaven Sent Chapter 2 Leslie sat on the swings in the park. "Oh..where's Carla when you need her. What am I going to do? Carla won't be back for a long time till she checks up on me. I can't wait that long." Leslie talked to herself. She watched a young couple came and sat next to her. The couple started to make out. "Mmm...maybe they can't see me." She thought. This was a weird feeling to her. She didn't know what was going on. How can Nick see her and not the others? Everyone was back in Orlando. Nick had a date over at the apartment that night. They were making out. Leslie watched them sadly. She watched his every move. How he handled her when they kissed and how he moved his lips. She wanted to get a kiss. But most importantly a kiss by Nick. "Hey, you alright?" Carla asked her. "What are you doing here anyway...you're suppose to be doing your job." "Yeah...um...I need help. You see..I was doing my job, watching over Nick and stuff, but then he knows." "He know what?" "That I'm there...he sees me Carla." Leslie tried to convince Carla. "What? Leslie, he can't see you unless you want him to and you're what he's looking for. So what were you doing?" Carla was upset. Leslie was so confused. She didn't know how to answer Carla.."I..I...don't know. I was just thinking of how it would feel to be human..and have all these feelings and stuff..." He voice trailed off. "And you were thinking of that kid.." Carla said. "Yes...and it Nick..not a kid...he's my age remember?" Leslie said and looked down to Nick's apartment. He was still making out with his date... "Why do they kiss?" "Kiss? How do you want me to explain it?" Carla said, she was also watching. "Well, what make them want to kiss...do they just kiss? Or does the kiss tell you something...where does it lead?" Leslie was curious. "Um..maybe I shouldn't tell you..you should got back down there...go do your job.." "Awww..please tell me? Please?" Leslie gave her a babyface. "Nope..make sure you don't fall for this guy and you have no problems." Carla instructed. "What if I do?" "No!! Don't do that." "What? Gosh..what's wrong with you...I said..well, maybe. Well, if you don't tell me I'm really going to fall for him." She didn't realize what she was saying. She just thought it was impossible for her to have Nick. "Okay...I'll tell you a story but just don't put a thought to it. Here you go." Carla looked at Leslie. Leslie nodded. "Okay...about a very long time ago, there was an angel who was your age. Well, she fell in love with a human which she was guarding him. And um..." Carla couldn't say the next word. "And what?" Leslie asked.. "Go on Carla." "And she gave him her heart...the closer she got to him the more human she became. Too bad he didn't give himself to her because he was too afraid of her. She lost a lot of energy as an angel. To be able to become human she has to have his mind, heart, body, and soul. But eventually she vanished from both worlds." Carla finished her story. "Oh my god." Leslie said with her eyes wide open. The story was unbelievable to her. "So, you have to sleep with a human to become human? So there is a chance for an angel to become human." Carla stared at Leslie. "You're not planning to....oh no...what's going on with you? Where are you wings?" "I...I...don't know..." Leslie was about to cry. "Leslie? What happened to you?" Carla asked worried. "I...I came into contact with Nick. I don't know how he saw me. He touched me but all I felt was pain. Pain all over, like I was going to explode. I don't know how it happened. her voice was now trembling. "Oh God. Leslie, what have you done? Am I too late?" Carla took a look at her body.Next: Chapter 3 |
