Chapter 7

"Brian?" Julie asked, leaning against Brian comfortably.

"Yes, Julie-angel?" he asked, and kissed her softly on the cheek.

"I love you." she said.

"I love you too." he told her, and tightened his arms around her.

"I have something to tell you." she said quietly.

"What is it, love?" he asked.

"I never told you but.... I write poetry. I'm a poet, I guess."

"Really? You never told me? Why?"

"Because most of my poetry is about you and if I told you, you might want to read it, and I was afraid before."

"I guess I can understand that."

"I have one I want to give you. A poem, I mean."

"Okay." he let her go get it, and she quickly came back with a piece of paper. She sat next to him and gave it to him, then watched him for his reaction. The paper said:

"Dear Lover,

You touch my hand with comfort,
You touch my heart with love
You brush a single tear from my eye
You brush away all my sorrows

You might think you aren't helping,
You don't know just how much you are
You are my shoulder to cry on,
You are always there for me
You help me through all the bad times
and I try to help bring you good times

You are my everything, my life, my heart, my soul
You are my rainbow after the pain
My sunshine after the rain
Thank you. For being my everything.

Love always,
Julie"
"Wow." he said in awe, "wow."

"You like it?" Julie asked nervously.

"Like it? I love it! How could I not love it?" he asked and scooped her up in his arms and kissed her again.

"Thanks. I'm glad you like it."

"I love you so much. You just seem to get more and more wonderful. You really are an angel. I love you." he kissed her again, very passionatly.

"Thanks. I love you too. You couldn't be more wonderful." she climbed back into his arms, pulling them around her tighter.

"You've got to be my angel from above. Your too good to be true." he said.

"Shut-up. Just shut-up and kiss me some more." she said and wrapped her arms around him, kissing him some more.
