All I Have To Give Chapter 14 One week later �I can�t believe it!� I exclaimed to Marissa as she showed up to the party. The Carter�s were having another party since the guys� since went to number 1 on the Billboard�s for the first time. The guys were gonna perform and everyone wanted to see how much better they were since we last saw them perform. �I know! It�s great! #1! They�re stars!� We laughed as Leighanne, who was still happily dating Brian and had soon become a good friend of all of us, came over. �Hey! Great news, huh?� I asked. She nodded. �The best! But, it�s about time!� she teased. �These guys rule, how come they�re just now at #1??� �Well, they�ve been #1 for a long time in Europe, but now the US?? It�s great!� I think Marissa and I were more excited than Leighanne since we had known the guys since they very, very beginning and had seen them trying to make a name for themselves, so hitting the US had the same effect on us as it did on the boys. Just then I heard someone yell, �QUIET!� and everyone turned to where a stage had been put for the guys. Their band was already sitting there, but the guys were there. Then they all came out, dressed kind of the same, they had the same pants on, but different colored shirts, plus little accessories for each guys� personality. They ran onstage and did their first song that we had all heard, millions and millions of times, �We�ve Got It Goin� On.� They then did �Quit Playin� Games� and �As Long As You Love Me.� Then Nick did the sweetest thing. �I want to dedicate this song for my beautiful and great girlfriend, Shelby. Whenever we performed this song, I thought of you.� I heard the opening notes of �All I Have To Give� come on.I don�t know, what he does to make you cry, But I�ll be there to make you smile. As it ended, he kissed my cheek lightly and whispered, �I love you,� in my ear before running back on stage. They performed another song, before they turned on a stereo again and we all danced. Nick and I danced up a storm for the rest of the day, but I still fit in a dance with every other Backstreet Boy, Bob and Aaron. I knew I had had some tough times in my life, but lots of them were nothing compared to the things some people had to go through every day and I was a pretty lucky girl. I also knew everything happens to a reason. |
