Wishing On Nothing Chapter 2 Mackenzie are you ready yet? I heard my friend Cassie yell. Cassie was beautiful. When she walked by people would turn their heads no matter what. She was perfect in a way. She was 59 and slender figure. She had long light brown hair and it was the perfect texture. She had huge green eyes and beautiful tan skin. It was just the right color, too. Why she always wanted to hang out with me was something I never understood. She was popular and people always wanted to around her. I was the exact opposite at least in my opinion. She always told me that I was pretty but I knew she just felt bad for me. I had long blond hair and it could never decide if it wanted to be thin or thick. I had sad blue eyes that always changed from light to dark. My skin was very light and it looked as though I was never in the sun. I was 56 and I was thin but my body just had that odd shape. My lips are pouty so people always thought I was crying and most of the time they were right. Almost Cass. I said looking at my pathetic self in the mirror. She was taking me to some concert for guys she loved. I wasnt into music much and it was another one of those guy bands. She always brought me to their concerts and it was sad in a way. I didnt even belong there in a crowd of people who were all different. Sometimes guys would come up to her at the concerts and she would introduce me to them and they would always ask why she was there with me. I got used to it after awhile and I just blended into the floor. I was used to being the outcast. But I didnt really do anything to make myself stand out. I found no point in being something youre not. And I wasnt into being some great looking girl that the guys always noticed. I wanted them to notice me but not because of wearing tight clothes or makeup. It just wasnt my thing. You look great Mack. Cassie said coming up tome in my room. That will be the day. I said with a smirk. I really dont understand why you are like that. Cass said shaking her head at me. She had on jeans that looked like they were made just for her. She had on a light purple tank top that was great with her eyes. Her hair was in a high ponytail and she looked like she came right out of a fashion magazine. I was in green Nike pants and a white tank top. I just let my hair flow behind me since it was agreeing with me for once. So who are we seeing this time? I asked as we made our way out to her Porshe. The Backstreet Boys!! She said excitedly. So is there some guy from this group that you have an infatuation with? I asked knowing that I was probably right. Yeah!! Duh!! His name is Kevin and he is absolutely handsome. She said with her beautiful white teeth. Im guessing our seats are near him then, huh? I asked. Yep front and center and he better come by us. Although then Ill probably pull him right off the stage. She said laughing. Am I going to enjoy this concert or should I just sit back and relax? I asked. You will love these guys. They can sing and are great dancers. You should like them a lot since you dance. She said. Well, a lot of those other groups danced. I said. Well, these guys are a lot better than those groups, trust me. She said. Within about an hour we pulled up to arena where we see every concert. Little did I know that in the next few hours my life would change dramatically.Next: Chapter 3 |
