Sunset Chapter 20 He saw Luke pill me roughly with him and away in a run. Nick started running after Luke. There was a crowd and Nick lost us. �Jem!� He dropped to his knees and cried. He walked back to the hotel slowly still sobbing. When he reached the room and cried even more remembering last night. He picked up the phone and dialed. Ring Ring �Hello?� The person said laughing. �:Brian?� Nick sobbed. Brian�s laughter stopped. �Nick? What is it buddy?� �Its Jem. She..she�wa�.was�ki�.kid�kidna�..kid�na�.ppee�.eeedddd�.� Nick broke down crying and dropped the phone putting it on speaker. �Oh no. That�s terrible. You loved her so much. You want me to come down?� �It�s O.K. I just want my baby back.� �O.K. You�ll get her back.� �I don�t know.� �Get some rest.� Nick just hung up the phone. �What was that about B?� Howie asked. Brian just sat there a moment. �Jem was kidnapped.� �WHAT?!?!?!� The guys screamed. �Who would do that?� Kevin just shook his head and got a shocked look on his face. �I don�t know. I wouldn�t even do that.� AJ said. �I know. This guy must be psycho.� Brian said.Nick went to the police and reported me kidnapped. He gave the best description of Luke he could and a description of me down to every detail. Well almost. By the time he had finished the officers were gawking. Nick cracked after that. The guy Nick tried to describe matched a few guys on record who were wanted for kidnapping. And murder. One was Luke. |
