Peas and Carrots Chapter 25 Nick looked at me shocked, I could tell he was thinking about what I had just said. "Of course I'll kiss you!" he said, leaning over and kissing me on the cheek and quickly getting up saying, "Umm...I'll be right back, I think I heard the door." "Ok..." I said as he left the room, I could tell he was embarrassed that I asked him if he would kiss me, and he knew I meant on the lips. "Andrea!!!" Nick called from downstairs, "Eric and the guys are here...are you coming?" "Ok, hold on, let me get something!" I yelled back. I searched through the room for my sunglasses and my favorite necklace my mom gave me for my birthday last year. I ran down the stairs in a hurry, "Ok, I'm ready to go now." I said, panting slightly. "Disney world it is then." said Eric reminding himself where he was supposed to take us. When we got there, we noticed it wasn't as packed as I had thought it would be, probably because of the fact that it was a Sunday and everyone was probably at church and stuff. For a while Nick wasn't really talking to me, so to loosen things up I decided to start a conversation with him. "So, Nick, what's your plans for tomorrow?" I asked him. "Ummm...we have a concert to do," he said pausing, "It's for some fund raising thing that helps kids that are homeless, or have some kind of sickness...You're welcome to come if you'd like." "Really? I'd love too." I said cheerfully. Disney World was really beautiful, they planted so many flowers with so many colors, I had a feeling I going to have a lot of fun there. The first ride we decided to go on was Splash Mountain. We came out of that ride soaking wet! Even Eric seemed to be having a great time even though he didn't say much. We stopped by a restaurant in Tomorrow land and had lunch. We just sat there eating and talking. It was about 7:00 pm by the time we started thinking about leaving, we rode practically every ride, some even three times, and saw a lot of the shows and parades. We stayed a little longer to watch fireworks. "I think Andrea is getting tired look at her she's falling asleep standing up." Kevin said laughing. "Maybe we should leave now." "Yeah, I'm tired to, plus we have that concert to do tomorrow...Andrea are you gonna go?" Brian asked. "Nick told me about that, I'd love to go if I'm not going to be in the way or anything." On the ride back, we turned on the radio and lucky enough, the Backstreet Boys were on the radio, the guys started singing to their own song. "Quit playin' games with my heart!" I thought to myself they sound even better live than on the CD...including Nick, I would have never guessed that that was him singing this one verse. Eric dropped Nick and I off at his house and left to drop the others off. Everyone was asleep in the house so we had to be quiet, Nick and I didn't feel tired though. So we stayed up and watched one the Carter's movies. We picked the movie I Know What You Did Last Summer, since I never saw the first one, but I saw the second one.Next Chapter |
