Sweet Dreams Chapter 11 Caroline and A.J. talked for about a half an hour. They finished their meal and A.J. went to the studio to meet up with the rest of the guys. At 10 'o clock Caroline pulled into the parking lot of the dance academy. Pulling her Nike gym bag out of the trunk she walked inside. She took the elevator up to the third floor and went to the locker room to change. She changed into a pair of sweat pants and a tank top and went to her classroom. Ashayla was already there starting the girls off with stretching. Caroline and Ashayla taught pop dancing for women ages 15-30. As the dancers get better they're auditioned for concerts and videos for performers. When Caroline walked in all of the girls greeted her with a big hug. She heard a chorus of "hi's" and "where have you been's." Ashayla was the last to give her a hug. "It's great to have you back." "It's great to be back." The class started off normally with stretching and warm-ups. After they finished their warm-ups they began working on their dance routine for the state championship finals. The dance finals were held at Disney's competition convention in August. Caroline wouldn't be apart of the show because of her condition, but she'd be there all the way with them. Dance class was over at 6 p.m. and they got a lot done. Surprisingly Caroline didn't throw up. She said good bye to all the girls as they left the building. Caroline and Ashayla stayed after to catch up."Cause mom you always were, the perfect fan," Brian sang as they finished recording their new album Millennium. "I love you mom." The music came to an end and the producers behind the glass began to cheer. "We're finished boys. You did it," one of the producers said through the speaker. Nick, Brian, A.J., Kevin, and Howie gave eachother a group hug and went to Brian and Nick's place to celebrate. "We're finally done," A.J. said as he opened up a bottle of Sprite. "Yep. Then we go on tour," Kevin added. "Guys we've come a long way," Howie said. "Let's make a toast," Brian said. "To he new album and the next level of the Backstreet boys." They all brought their drinks together and took a sip. Later they sat down and watched a movie. Around 8 'o clock everyone left. About two minutes later the door bell rang. "It's probably A.J. forgetting his keys again," Brian said opening the door. To his surprise... "That's enough girls," Ashayla said. The girls had been practicing since twelve in the afternoon. Everyone was exhausted. Ashayla showed them the dance routines while Caroline made sure everyone did them right. The girls gathered up their things and went home. "That was a great rehearsal," Caroline said. "Yeah and if we keep it up we have a chance at getting that first place trophy." "I just wish I could be in it," Caroline said a little sadly. "It's okay we'll do fine. And there will be other competitions." "I guess you're right. Well, I'll see you tomorrow Ashayla." "Bye. Ashayla." "Bye.""Mom! Dad! What are you doing here?" "We came to see how you were doing and to surprise you. So surprise!" Brain could have had a stroke. "Hey Nicky. How are you doing sweetie?" Brian's mom said giving Nick a hug. "God you're still getting bigger. I swear you boys have been eating too much Mc Donalds." Brian's dad gave him a pat on the back. "So how have you two been?" Brian's dad said, making himself comfortable on the sofa. "We've been great dad, so when are you guys leaving?" he asked. Brian didn't mean to sound so pushy cause he missed his family greatly, but now was not the right time. "We're leaving in two days. I just wanted to see how my baby is doing," his mom answered."Images of rapture creep into me slowly as you're goin to my head. And my heart beats faster, when you take me over, time and time and time again. But it's just a sweet sweet fantasy baby..." Caroline sang as she pulled into the parking space in front of Brian and Nick's apartment. She turned off her Mariah Carey CD and got out of the car. She went upstairs and knocked on the door. Nick went and answered the door while Brian and his parents talked in Brian's room. "Hey Nick, what's up?" Caroline asked as she came in and set her gym bag by the door. "Where's Brian?" "Oh, Brian. There's someone here for you," Nick called about to bust out laughing. "I'll be right back," Brian said to his parents. He went down the hall and found Nick and Caroline standing there. "Hey baby," Caroline said walking up to give him a kiss. "Wait," Brian said stopping her. "You can't be here now," he whispered "Brian, why are you whispering? Is there something wrong?" "No, it's just that now is really not a good time." He began to walk her to the door. "What's going on?" "I'll explain later." "Honey, who's at the door?" his mom said walking in the living room. It was too late now. "Brian who's that?" Caroline asked getting a little confused by her boyfriends weirdness. "Hey you know what? I just remembered I have to meet A.J. somewhere. I'll see you guys later," Nick said as he sped out the door. "So much for being there when you need a friend," Brian mumbled to himself. He turned around facing Caroline and his parents. "Um, mom, dad, this is my girlfriend Caroline."Next: Chapter 12 |
