Secret Obsession Chapter 8 Brian felt like he was walking on air. He knew that Kevin could be wrong. Lauren could just think of him as an ordinary guy or she could sort of like him, like he sort of liked her. He grinned to himself and ran into the auditorium, leaping in the air. "Whoo hoo!" he screamed, landing swiftly onto his feet. He turned towards the stage and saw all the roadies staring at him, smiles on their faces. "Uh..hey!" Brian said, casually. He noticed that Lauren was on the stage, also talking with Eric. He began to walk over there. The man pulled out his cell phone and dialed the number to the venue in which he had just gotten kicked out of. "Hello?" a crisp voice called. "Hello, I'm looking for a friend of mine...Lauren is her name and she's in the arena, I suppose. Can you please get her on the phone..tell her it's an emergency." "All right sir, please hold on." He smiled to himself."Hi," Brian said shyly, reaching Eric and Lauren. "Hey," she mumbled, not looking at him. "What's up B-rok?" Eric asked. "Nothin' much...I met Lauren earlier." Eric smiled, "She's a little weird! You'll learn that about her!" "I noticed," Brian said jokingly, though part of him meant it. |
