What is a Fanlisting?
A fanlisting is sort of a club which the fans of a particular series, character or pairing assemble and join.

About:
Sadly, since Macross Zero is only a 5-episode OAV, there has been insufficient time to delve further into this character relationship. However, the relationship of Kudou Shin and Mao Nome is fairly well-developed and it makes both of them look cool and cute together. Kudou Shin is a Navy pilot who is drifted away to the island after his plane gets shot down. That island is where he meets a cute girl named Mao Nome who befriends him. Mao makes a close friendship with him in order to realize her dreams of seeing the world outside her home island by going with him out of the island. Of course, that by being a nice friend to him, she hopes he would be kind enough to take her to the cities she wanted to see. Nevertheless they form a unique and sweet relationship.
