My relationship with nun-cha-co is not professional, of course. I started to deal with it when I was fourteen. I had started to deal with far east sports earlier and I thought, to be a good fighter, I had to know that nun-cha-co stuff as well. At first, it was a part of my life and I felt different when I was with it. Even when I watched television, I had it with me. I tried to learn new techniques from everybody who had an idea about it and improve myself in being fast. At the same time, lots of my close friends seeing my interaction  with nun-cha-co  were possibly impressed and so they learned it, too. I have lots of memories about it. Here is  one:

  We were always trying to find our own new techniques. One of my friends, when we  met in vacation, told me he had invented a new technique that I could never imagine.  "So did I " I said because so had done  I. And when I showed mine, we were both incredibly surprised because they were the same. We invented the same technique independently. At first glance, you may not find it unbelievable but if I had the chance to show that to you, you would understand me.

   My interest in it  never stopped. Even if I have lots of changes in my life like moving to another city or finding new interests, it has always had a right to spend a few hours on at least per month. And so over the years, I think, I reached to a remarkable level for someone who is not professional. 

   Now, nun-cha-co is something with art for me. I do not consider it a fighting tool. It is something that I need  when I dance and dealing with it is decidedly relaxing. I sometimes think to develop a small model that classifies its techniques, investigates the relationship between techniques and so will lead to new unimaginable ones. 

   I would like to include a movie file in this page that shows how I use it but still I couldn't find a camera. But I am working on it.
