Once upon a time, as I was walking through the shadow of Xaia dul. (Ti ve thuai ila, a ni tawp si lova) My eyes were just flashed by a shop window. I keep walking, I tried to walk pass the shop, but I can't. Coz somethin was pulling the back of my House Banana. It was the socket ball of the window that flashed my eyes. I look up trying to notice what kind of shop it is. Just then, I see, it was Sammy's. I was so 'Hungry Kya?' so I just went inside the shop with 5 rupees in my pocket. To my surprise, there were just 4 computers, no food, no drinks. I was so upset just try to walk out of the shop. But somethin again pulled the back of my House Banana, I just pull it with a force without looking what made it stuck. But my efforts were all in vain. My shirt were all torn up. So, I give up, I 'piche mur', open my eyes and then I see. I see, the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I keep staring at her eyes with my mouth wide open. Wow, Brooke Shield is not much prettier than this girl. She looked at me with her dark brown eyes, and then she whisper 'hasta la vista' (in my mind). I dont know what that meants but its sound so 'tichiu' so I tried to 'kreinch' her. But, I again noticed it was again just a life sized poster that is pasted on the wall of the shop. I stand there just as a dumb statue.
Me and El-a
About 5 minutes later, a man with so many 'stomach' was coming into the shop and sit in the counter. I talk to him whether I can touch those computers in the shop. He replied 'Yes' as he took out a 'stomachtop' computer and ask me to go and sit before any of the computers on the shop. I knew only about 'laptop' computers, but this was the day I knew 'stomachtop' computers exist. On the back of his 'stomachtop' computer, it is written like this. 'This computer is all my belongings. Love Dr. El-a.' Oh, this must be Dr. El-a, the great doctor who knows names. I started to boot one of the computers, but the computer was out of control. I sit on another computer, but this was also bad. So, I have to quit the shop, because I have been there for sufficiently quite a long time without having done anything. (reminds me of SS)
The double dragon.
My stomach were started to royal rumble. Two peas were wrestling inside my stomach. I feel very tired and I started sonambulism. My 'sa chek' was paining like an atom bomb explosion. Just then I saw two men on the other side of the road. They were very different from normal human being, I mean human bee-ing. They crossed the road and walk to the side of the road where I was standing. I started to notice that they were approaching me. They were singing a song, one of them sings a song which he had learnt from watching 8 Mile. The other one was singing 'Where is the love?' which was a famous song during that time. They came closer, I just keep mum because I was spellbound. One of them just started to fart 7 times in 1 minute. I said, 'Wow, how could you do that?'. Without no answer they just give me a handshake and started to run away like anything. I keep looking at them till they disappear inside a shop. This shop was none other than Sammy's. Later, I came to know that the two men were Dr. amaZ and Dr. TK-a. They are now here with me just ROTFL.
The Beginning
The 4 of us, Me, El-a, Amaz and TK-a grouped together with a clan called Doctors. This was in the late 2004. We organised many concerts (in the classroom) and earned a lot of _________. We are combined in such a way that all the four of us cannot sleep, eat, or drink without a single member absent. (drink here means thingpui). As they came to know about us, many of our classmates wanted to join us. We told them that if they can 'treat' us we will accept them as our clan member. So, Zaia, Zualtea, MS-a, BZ-a, Remsanga, OP-a, Mikal, Lily etc. etc. came to join us. Wow, thats the beginning of the Doctors.
Things that were done
We had done so many activities in the name of our clan(may be or may not be). We published a newspaper called Laipui Weakly from October of 2004. This newspaper was published for two times, the second edition was sold out on December 2004. As it is a Weakly newspaper, we just published it from the inspiration that came to our mind. The Chief Editor was Joseph (Me), Editor ve mai mai was TK-a and our kawrespondents were Zualtea and Zaia. Our newspaper cost 5 rupees a copy and we are proud to say that it was one of the best newspaper ever published from St. Pauls students. (Just a joke, OK?) We have got two other newspaper published from Class X students of Golden Jubilee batch. One was X-C Sniper(Published from X C) and the other was Paulianite(Published from X D). This two newspaper were good and we congrats their hard work and dedication for the success of their newspaper to the Editorial Board.
Another thing that we do in the name of our clan was to contribute 'Ngaihdan' in Izawl local newspapers. The Regular contributors were me, amaz, maikal & remsanga. Our ngaihdan were published in the three popular newspapers of Izawl, they were The Aizawl Post, Vanglaini & Aizawl Thupuan. We thank all of the columnist for their willingness and acceptance in publishing our ngaihdan.
We also formed a musical group band called ...........(Not yet got a name.) We recorded our first album on 16.12.2004 and released it on the next day i.e Our Chaw Ei Khawm Ni. There were seven songs in our debut album including the Intro and Outro. Other songs goes on like this Every Breath You Take, Knockin on Heaven's Door, Eternal Flame, Another Brick in the Wall and Our National Anthem. If you would like to hear them sing, ask menax or maikal for a copy of this album. (They might give you if their Writer is good).
Gone are those days. I still wonder how things could get so depressed. But, due to The Almighty's Grace, none of us lie cold somewhere 6 feet under. Flashing are those memories, the times that we own. Seems like it's just a minute ago. Wish I could turn back the hands of time. As the songwriter says, if we never meet again this side of heaven. There is another meeting place somewhere in heaven. So, let's hope to meet each other there above.
