Removing a 2-year-old Footbridge

A two-year-old footbridge was removed by rental company and heavy lift contractor, Kanson Crane Hire. The 56-tonne, over 60-meter-long bridge, was built across one of the busiest highway in Hong Kong in the middle of Year 2001. The highway had to blocked from 1am to 6am. Within these 5 hours, the bridge had to be cut into 2 parts for ease of removal and transport. Kanson used their new Liebherr LTM1200/1 and Krupp KMK5120 for the lift and the job was finished in time.
