BRUNNER RANGE

GUN REGISTRATION

"If you already have your guns registered."

Bring your "Registration of Personal Firearms" form with you. As you enter Ft. Leavenworth present the form to the MP on duty. He will check your paperwork against the serial numbers on your guns. If they match, you will be allowed to proceed to Brunner Range.

"If you have not registered the guns you are bringing."

Complete the enclosed "Weapon Registration Information" sheet. Present this form to the MP on duty when you enter Ft. Leavenworth. He will check your paperwork against the serial numbers on your guns. If they match, you will be directed to the Provost Marshal’s Office on McPherson Ave. Personnel at the Provost Marshal’s Office will complete your registration and you will proceed to Brunner Range.

"Permanent Registration"

When you register your guns, you may elect for this to be a permanent registration. In this case, your data is put into the Department of Defense computer system. Only authorized personnel with proper job classification and password have access this information. Once a permanent registration is made, you may come to Brunner Range as often as you like by simply presenting your paperwork and guns at the guard gate.

"Temporary Registration"

You may wish to avoid the computer system and permanent records. In this case, write "Temporary" on your application form and record the dates you will be attending Brunner Range. The Provost Marshal’s Office will approve this document for those dates and put it in a hard copy file folder. When the dates have expired, your paperwork will be destroyed. No permanent record will exist. Keep in mind that each time you come to Brunner Range you will need to complete a "Temporary" form.
