Iota Phi Theta is a nationally incorporated social/service fraternity, which
continues to remain true to the original purpose, envisioned by its
founders. That purpose being, "The Development and Perpetuation of
Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood among Men."

Our Sister Organization "Iota Hearts", shares a similar purpose:
"To promote Leadership, Multiculturalism, Self-improvement
through academic excellence, Involvement in and service
to the campus and community, as well as being living examples of
sisterhood across different races, religion and cultures.

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity was founded at the University of Kansas
on May 13, 1997.  Two years later Iota Hearts came to the campus
on April 11, 1999 by four OWtstanding young ladies. Megan James,
Sandy Prentiss, Colleen Ward, and Rebecca Dieboldt.

The benefits of becoming a member of Iota Hearts are limitless.
The Sisterhood that is created between you and your sisters will never be
broken. The bond of Sisterhood goes further than you can ever imagine; it is
a bond of friendship, pride, and support that will continue far beyond your
college years. The value of true friendship along with an atmosphere filled
with the support of a special kind of family makes this organization a
special place for learning new experiences.

Iota Hearts can be found as close as Central Missouri State University and
as far as Morgan State University.  Our colors are Brown and Gold.
Our call is Ow Sweet.

Iota Hearts are looking for anyone that has something to offer the
organization. We do a large amount of community service activities on and
off campus, fundraisers for local charitable organizations and joint
activities with Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.
