The Rockin' I Arena is home to L.J., Kacy, Ali, and Erinn Irons. It's located at 2194 Us Hwy 56 Herington, Kansas. We are on the north east corner of Hwy 56 and Junction 149.
At the Rockin' I Arena, horses are started using the round pen reasoning. Horses are trained having it being their idea to work with people, rather than being forced to submit to people. This reasoning works well with starting young horses, or working through problems of older horses. Most horses are doing amazing things when under the rider the first day started. Every horse is different, and is treated so. Each with their own personalities and spirit. At the Rockin' I Arena, we want to encourage that spirit, that life, and build a mutual working relationship between horse and rider. It's a lot more enjoyable to be ridin' a horse that is working with you rather than against you, no matter what type of ridin' you're doing.... Be it pleasure, or competition. That is our goal at the Rockin' I Arena for both horse and rider.
Also at the Rockin' I Arena, we put on ropings, kids playdays, clinics, shoeing, breeding, and selling of horses.
