| 8/8/2001 We got to hear the heart beat again last week, and today we went in for the Nuchal Translucency scan. The baby was perfect. No abnormalities seen, and the baby looked very healthy, kicking and jumping and gulping down on amniotic fluid. The chances for downsyndrom are incredibly low now. Less than 1 in 8,900! I wanted to post the ultrasound picture of our little tiny baby who measures 6 cm crown to rump. Here it is. :) Enjoy! |

| 18/9/01 It's a GIRL!!!! We had our 18 week ultrasound done today and it is a GIRL! 95 % sure, but they are never 100% sure until they see it for real. Her name is Katlyn. She is so beautiful and looks like a newborn already, but probably a bit small still. Everything measures right for her age and the doctor says she is perfect as far as he can tell. She was very active so the doctor had a hard time measuring and seeing all of her parts. We are almost half way through the pregnancy! Time flies when your having fun I guess. I feel her kicks alot stronger latly and even see them when she kicks higher up. She always seems to have alot of energy. We are all very excited to be having a girl. Can't wait to see her face to face! Here is her latest picture! |
