| 18/7/2001 I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. 1/4th of the way through. My Estimated Due Date is Febuary 17th 2002. I am very excited, but I am also very nervous. I miscarried my last baby when I was 7 weeks pregnant, and there is a fear that lingers in my head always that it will happen again. I have a son who is almost 20 months old. His name is Justin. He is a hand full but alot of fun, and he is who convinced me to have annother baby, because life is so great and I can't imagine life without him, and if I can have that times two it'll be great! I had some spotting earlier in the pregnancy that really scared me, but since then we have seen the little baby and its heartbeat! God is so amazing how he can unite a few cells, and build a beautiful living person out of it. |

| 30/7/2001 I am 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. I am very close to the stage where there is very little risk of miscarriage. I hope we make it. I think we will. I also have a feeling that this baby is a little girl. I have thought so from the beginning. 5 days ago we heard the little babies heart beating at about 140 bpm. It was so exciting. Tony was even there to hear it. It was very healthy sounding, and I hope to hear it again tomorrow. I am sure I can feel the baby move a few times a day. I know it is very early, but the doctor said it is possible. I have felt it for about 3 weeks now. Just one more week until the nuchal scan where I can see the little baby jumping around. I am still in awe of this pregnancy. Here is a picture of a baby at the stage my little baby is at now. Looks like a little person already! |
