                                  *****QUICHE*****

1 onion finely chopped  (fry first to transparent) - 3-4 Eggs  - Salt & Pepper -
3 bacon rashes chopped (fry with cooked onion - 1 cup grated Tasty Cheese -
1/4 cup Milk  -  1/2 cup P Flour - Diced Tomato - Parsley

Mix above ingredients, put into a lightly greased oven- proof dish.  Cook in a
pre-heated oven at 200C for 30 minutes.   Yummy!!

*****ROAST  VEGETABLE  BAKE*****

When next you have a roast, bake extra vegetables about 4 cups chopped.
Do the following:
Whisk 6 eggs - add 2 tablespoons P Flour - Salt & Pepper - 1/4 cup chopped
Parsley - 1/2 cup grated Tasty Cheese.

Mix all together and put into a lightly greased oven-proof dish and bake in
a moderste oven for 25 minutes, or until cooked and browned.
Any additional vegetables can be added to above:
Peas - Beans - Cauliflower - Anything you like !        Very Tasty Indeed!

*****SMALL   FRUIT  CAKES*****

2 cups S R Flour - 1 cup Sugar - 2 Eggs - 1/2 cup Milk - 1/2 cup Mixed Fruit (pkt)
4 tablespoons Butter.

Mix all together and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until browned in a moderste oven.
This mixture makes a nice Steam Pudding, steam for about 1-1/2 hours.

*****MUFFINS  OR  LOAF*****

1 cup All-Bran - 3/4 cup Sugar - 1-1/4 cups Skim Milk - 2 cups Dried Fruit -
1/2 cup chopped Wallnuts.

Soak all together for 2 hours or overnight. Add 1-1/2 cups of sifted S R Flour
mixing well. Spoon into loaf tin or muffin tray (greased) in a moderate oven.
* May need extra milk as dried fruits soak it up. Freezes well and re-heats in
the microwave.  Very Nice!

*****BALMORAL    SHORTBREAD*****

12 ozs P Flour - 8 ozs Butter - 1/2 cup caster Sugar 
Sift flour into mixing bowl, stir in sugar. Add butter kneed, squeeze into dry ingredients until it forms a stiff dough. Roll out onto lightly floured board to 1/4" thick. Cut  into small circles, place onto baking tray and prick with a
fork to make rows.
Bake in a moderste oven 180C for 15 minutes or  until pale gold in colour.

*****PEA  AND  HAM  SOUP*****

Soak packet of yellow split peas overnight and rinse. Boil up with 2-3 Ham
Bones then simmer about 2 hours in a large saucepan, then remove bones,
cut up meat, return to saucepan.
Grate 1 carrot -  dice 2 Potatos - simmer 2 hours. Let it cool to thicken. Heat
up for a meal.
FOOTNOTE:Only half fill large saucepan with water otherwise it will be too thin.  Good One!

                            
***** CHICKEN     RECIPE*****
                              
Ingredients:  1 large Chicken    1 cup drained Crushed Pineapple  Salt & Pepper
2 Eggs  500g uncooked Popcorn  1 cup Diced Onion  1 des/spoon Mixed Herbs

Preparation:    Mix all dry ingredients, add eggs and pineapple, stuff mixture into the chicken and skewer the cavity.

Cooking:  Place in the oven (pre-heated at 180C) basting regularly. The meal
will be ready when the popcorn blows the arse off the chicken and door off the oven. hehe  Without the popcorn joke a great enjoyable meal for many years!
