Family Poems
MUM

What a special Mum you are,
I know you're always there,
Ready with a helping hand,
Just because you care.

As a teenager and a child,
I used to be such a chore,
But because of all your support now and then,
I love you even more.

Now I am an adult,
Things have changed somewhat,
Because now I not only have the greatest Mum,
But the best friend of the lot.

VICKI

Vicki is my little sister,
Yes it's really true,
We used to fight like cats and dogs,
Now we hardly ever blue.

For a really good friend,
I never have to go far,
You see I have a little sister,
Who as a friend shines like a star.

We laugh and talk together,
Sometimes we cry too,
And I really love my little sister,
I do, I do, I do.

KRISTY

Daddy's little angel,
Mummy's little tody,
Big blue eyes,
Brown curly locks,
A very cute smile,
That just knocks off your socks.
Very sweet natured,
Well most of the time.
I love to sing and dance,
And just have a good time.
I love my big brother,
I miss him when he is at school,
But just wait for weekends,
Dad, Mum, James and me, oh so cool.

JAMES

Big brown eyes,
Thick brown hair,
A beautiful smile,
And a willingness to share.
Full of love and affection,
Full of genorosity,
But if I lose my temper,
You really don't want to know me.
I look after my little sister Kristy,
Sometimes I boss her around;
I often play trains with Daddy,
Other times I scare him out of town.
But I know my Mummy Loves me,
Even when I make her mad;
Because whenever I am sad or hurt,
She hugs and kisses me, and makes me feel glad.
