Rating: PG

Warnings/Categories: AU

Disclaimer: These characters don't belong to me and I don't intend to make any money with them. There are no intentions to infringe the rights of the legal owners.

Halloween story challenge rules:

1- A pumpkin

2- A stripper

3- Jello

4- A rabbit's foot

5- Aliens dancing

6- Main character of fandom in an embarrasing position

Notes: This is sort of a crossover between Stargate SG-1 and War of the Worlds, where both series happened at the same time.

I shamelessly confess that I took one of my ideas from Sheila's story. Thanks sister.

I couldn't do a scene with an embarrassing position for any main character so I didn't follow all the rules, sorry.

This is the first time I answered a challenge and I'm not really sure if this thing works, so be patient with me. Ok?

To those no familiar with Stargate SG-1. Colonel Jack O'Neill (portrayed by Richard Dean Anderson) is the leader of a team composed by: Mayor Samantha Carter, Dr. Jack O'Neill and Teal'c (a Jaffa).

O'Neill has a pervert sense of humor and a very sarcastic personality.

Cassandra is a little girl that was founded alive in a planet where all the rest of the population had been killed by the Goa'uld. In some way he adopted her. He use to be protective about children because his only son, accidentally, killed himself with O'Neill's gun.

As always, this story hadn't been possible without Wesa's help.

[Halloween Challenge] When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going

General Hammond was at The Cottage, the SG-1 and SG-15 teams had the day off for the holiday, but he needed to talk with both teamleaders and he knew that his best men were always ready for anything. It had been a year since the President himself had sent him the profiles of the members of the now-terminated Blackwood Project. General Hammond had been amazed that there had been a previous secret project fighting aliens. If not for the fact that he himself headed a project researching the galaxy and fighting the Go'auld, he would have laughed himself sick. But he knew Colonel Ironhorse's reputation, and according to their files Dr. Blackwood, Dr.McCullough, and Mr. Drake might be valuable additions to the project.

In retrospect, they had been more than good, even though the civilians' behavior had been a little weird. The screen saver Norton Drake had put on his pc was proof enough of that. Instead of the SG logo, there was a Goa'uld stripper whose eyes sparkled everytime she took off one layer of clothes while she danced. General Hammond shook his head tiredly. Civilians! Thank God for well trained military men like O'Neill and Ironhorse.

General Hammond entered the kitchen and stopped dead in his tracks. The sight before him was simply shocking and he couldn't help but yell angrily, "Colonel O'Neill, Colonel Ironhorse. What are you doing!?"

Both Colonels jumped to attention while two little figures hid behind them.

"Well?" growled General Hammond.

"Our help was requested, sir!" both Colonels answered at the same time.

"For what!?"

"Cassandra's costume needed a fix, sir!" answered Jack.

"Debi's dessert wasn't working, sir!" answered Paul.

Hammond's stare frightened both Colonels so they stood there in silence, fearing that another word would make their superior shoot them right on the spot. Sensing the need for help, Cassandra and Debi, although they were scared, bravely stepped from behind their Colonels and advanced toward the General.

Cassandra held out a piece of fabric. "I'm a bunny. One of my feet fell off. Colonel O'Neill was sewing it back on."

Debi showed him a dish full of red liquid. "My jello wasn't working because I hadn't realized that it was out of date. Colonel Ironhorse brought a fresh one and he was teaching me to prepare it."

General Hammond counted mentally to ten. "Once you have finished your tasks, Colonels, I want to talk with you."

He turned to leave when two little voices asked, "General?"

When General Hammond turned towards them, Cassandra and Debi ran out, returned with a big pumpkin, and pleaded, "Neither Colonel O'Neill or Colonel Ironhorse can really carve a scaring face, General. Can you help us, pleeease...?"

End.
