Rogue went out to check on the guests. It took a while, but after some convincing from Rogue and Jericho (and some threatening from Taker), Kane was ready to walk down that aisle. And not a moment too soon. It looked like most of the guests had arrived. The ushers, or more correctly, the APA, were showing the guests to their seats. On the bride's side were the other sisters from the List as well as family and friends. Seated on the side of the groom were various people from the WWF. There was Linda and Shane McMahon along with Trish Status. Mick Foley had the honor of giving Fyre away. Billy Gunn was there with Chyna. Test was there along with Grandmaster Sexay, Steve Blackman, Al Snow, and The Holly cousins. Even Chris Benoit was in attendance. Everything was going according to plan... more or less.
The wedding procession made it's way down the aisle. The bridesmaids, Pure Shelly, Jackie, and Rowdy, went down the aisle accompanied by Rave, Jeff Hardy, and Matt Hardy respectively. Rogue and Jericho went down the aisle followed by Thunder and Taker. Chibi chibi was next. She took great joy in tossing those flower petals to the ground. And she made sure to smile at everyone as she went. They all thought that she was so cute. Finally, it was time for the lovely bride. Mick Foley accompanied Fyre down the aisle. He handed her off to her husband-to-be and the ceremony began.
Everyone thought that the bride was beautiful. Chibi chibi thought that her Aunty Fyre looked real nice in her white dress and flowers. She was glad that Kane was gonna be her uncle. Then she could play with him a lot. Maybe, if she was lucky, all her aunties would get married to the nice wrestling people and then she'd have lots of people to play with. And maybe they would have kids for her to play with too. She liked the thought of that. Chibi chibi noticed that her aunties and Rogue-mama were crying. She thought that they were happy for Aunty Fyre. Sometimes she just couldn't understand grownups. But she did know that she hoped everything would be over soon because she was tired of standing up. She wanted to sit down, but there was no place to sit.
The couple had just exchanged rings. The minister asked if there was anyone who objected to the union of Fyre and Kane and for them to speak now. The doors of the church burst open and the members of Right To Censor entered the church. Val Venis, Bull Buchanan, The Goodfather, and Ivory met up against Farrooq, Bradshaw, Billy Gunn, and Chyna. Steven Richards got past the fights and made his way down to the pulpit.
"I object to this marriage!" Steven yelled.
"How can you object when you see that these two people are in love?" Matt asked.
"The answer is very simple." Steven said. He took Fyre's hand in his and dropped down on one knee. "Because I've been in love with this woman since the first time I saw her. Fyre, will you leave this brute and marry me? We could make such wonderful music together."
Everyone, including the members of RTC, was in shock. No one could believe that Steven Richards could actually be interested in a woman. And they didn't think it was very good for his health to try to steal Kane's woman. They all knew what had happened the last time someone did that. And it wasn't pretty.
"I'm not leaving this church without Fyre as my bride," Steven said. "And none of you can stop me."
Every member of the wedding party was ready to pounce on poor white socks, but Matt gave him a chance. "Fyre, talk to the poor man. Maybe you can get some sense into his head." Fyre tried to tell him that things wouldn't work out between them. How she loved Kane and that it was for the best. Steven didn't appear to take the rejection very well. He said that he wasn't going to leave her side. He pulled out a pair of handcuffs and was ready to cuff himself to Fyre.
Rogue, deciding that she had seen enough and didn't want to see another pair of handcuffs ever again, hit Steven in the back of the head with her bouquet of flowers. He was knocked out cold. She pulled the flowers away to reveal a lead pipe. "Be prepared!" she said, flashing the Girl Scout sign. Raven carried Steven's limp body down the aisle and threw him on top of the pile of RTC members.
The minister once again asked if anyone objected to the marriage. The wedding party scanned to crowd. Rogue waved her pipe menacingly. Thunder cocked her gun and took aim at the church entrance. Seeing that no one else was going to interfere, the marriage ceremony concluded. Fyre and Kane were now husband and wife. Although he couldn't kiss the bride because of his mask, everyone was sure that there would be a whole lotta kissin' going on during the honeymoon.
