It is with great saddness that I explain the future of GE today.
I have decided to write only three more episodes for my Golden Eagles web serial. The decision to finish off the series hasn't always been an idea in the back of my head. I was feeling bad for the stories I wrote and believe me, GE was never supposed to be used to cause drama, only to enjoy something I liked doing with my friends. At this time I am working on the final three or so last episodes planned. I have no idea of when I will put them up, but just keep checking back every so often. And for those of you wondering what happened and why I haven't been writing, I'd rather not get into it...just know that this will be the end...perhaps.




GE 51 FnG Episode 21: ďż˝21ďż˝s The Drinking Ageďż˝ 9/22/06 The summer has brought many changes. Some of these changes can be for the good, and some of them can be for the not so good. Whoďż˝s to decide which ones are good and which ones are bad? Who knows exactly? Isaac and Renee are still no longer together; Myles has had a change of luck with guys; both have found a suitable replacement for their third roommate who left to live with party animals. Monroe, or Moe, has become the replacement after talking to the landlord and asking Isaac and Myles. Myles is excited to be going back to school. He spent the summer working at the gas station back home. Isaac has painted for the landlord and taken summer classes. Everyone has moved in and of course, the first party is scheduled for the weekend before classes start. Jean, the past CDM president is hosting a welcome back party for the original group and a few of her friends. Myles brings Irwin to the party. Kiki, Caitlyn, Millie are there already. Myles and Irwin say hello to everyone and begin playing flip cup using jungle juice which is juice with different types of alcohol. They are having fun. Later on in the night a few other guests come by. The group sits outside on the back porch and talk about different things. Myles ends up getting really drunk and makes a mistake. Myles kisses one of Kikiďż˝s and Caitlynďż˝s sorority sisters and later begins to make out with her for no apparent reason. Irwin sees this and becomes upset. He walks around the house and feels hurt. Isaac follows him to the front and the two talk. It becomes apparent that Irwin has deep feelings for Myles and feels that Myles would rather kiss girls that himself. It becomes late and Myles sits on the couch and passes out knowing all too well that he drank too much. Irwin and Kiki sit on the floor and talk while Myles is passed out across the room from them. Irwin gets up and throws a blanket in Myles face as he storms outside. Myles wakes up and has no idea what is going on. All he knows is that Irwin is upset. Kiki follows behind him; however, speaks to Myles before leaving, ďż˝How could you? You know the kid loves you!ďż˝ Myles feels awful, yet, feels like it shouldnďż˝t matter if he kisses girls just for the hell of it. Myles passes back out. The next morning Irwin is creeping outside for a cigarette still upset about what happened. It is raining outside and he calls Isaac to ask for an umbrella so he can walk home. Isaac calls Caitlyn who is back at the sorority house with her car. She comes to pick him up and takes him home. Myles wakes up and feels so sick to his stomach. He feels terrible drinking so much as he did and feels even worse about the situation. Isaac speaks to Myles telling him he hurt Irwin really bad as he begins to clean up Jeanďż˝s house. It is Monday now and Myles and Irwin have not spoken to each other since Saturday night at the party. The two have class together at noon and finally before class get to talk. Myles explains that they are not in a relationship and he is free to do whatever he wants, and kissing girls means nothing to him. Irwin still feels upset and expresses his feelings toward Myles. Myles cares for Irwin, however, does not want a relationship. The week goes by and the two rarely speak to each other. At dinner throughout the week, Kiki, Caitlyn, Millie all talk about Renee coming up for Labor Day weekend and going to the bar. Everyone is excited and Caitlyn states that she wishes she was 21 and able to go out and have a fun time. She feels left out as mostly everyone is old enough to drink legally. The only thing on Mylesďż˝ mind is that he doesnďż˝t want to drink again, at least for a little while.

	GE 51 FnG Episode 22: ďż˝Old Feelings, New Beginnings, Superficial Expectationsďż˝ 9/29/06-10/13/06 In this episode old feelings will come back, new beginnings will be announced and others will be looking at eye candy with superficial expectations. Renee is expected to visit this weekend and the others have plans to go to the bar with her because her 21st birthday was the previous Monday. The group decides to go to the bar on Friday night and then on Saturday just hang out so the underagers can visit as well. She plans to leave Sunday sometime. Myles has to travel home for a few things after class on Friday. Caitlyn, Kiki, and Millie wait for Renee to arrive. Isaac is with Jean discussing marathon stuff. Renee finally arrives in town and stops by her old apartment to talk to her old roommates. They make plans to eat dinner together to catch up. Renee calls Kiki. She explains that she is in town and is going to go to dinner with her old roommates. Kiki says that her plans are fine and that she can stop over at Millieďż˝s after dinner. Renee confirms the plans and the two hang up. Kiki tells the girls about what is going on. Meanwhile back in Kane, Myles gets ready to leave. He starts his car and begins to travel back to Clarion. He puts on a cd in his new ďż˝99 GMC Jimmy. Half way into his trip, his car begins to make weird sounds and his temperature gage begins to go up dramatically. He pulls off the road and looks under the hood. Steam billows out from under the hood. ďż˝Why now? I have to get back to Clarion to see Renee!ďż˝ He notices the radiator is out of water for some reason. He notices a gas station down the road. Back in Clarion everyone is getting ready for the bar. Millie looks at her clock on the wall which is not digital. She looks at Kiki and asks her what time it is. Kiki looks at the clock and tells her it is 7:30. Renee arrives at Millieďż˝s and knocks on the door. Caitlyn screams for Renee to come inside. She enters the door and Kiki and Caitlyn jump for joy to give her a hug. Millie gets up from her seat slowly and says hello. Meanwhile, back on the road Myles is walking to the gas station. Itďż˝s beginning to get dark and he has to hurry. He runs to the gas station and buys a gallon of water. He returns to his car and temporarily fixes his car problem. He begins to drive towards Clarion again. Back at Jeanďż˝s, she and Isaac have become flirty with each other. Jean has cooked dinner for the both of them and Isaac does the dishes when they are finished. They have stopped talking about CDM for the time being and are now going to watch a show on the television before getting ready for the bar. It is almost 9 oďż˝clock and everyone is getting ready for the bar. Myles is still attempting to get back. Isaac invites Jean to the bar with him and she accepts. They two drive over to Millieďż˝s where everyone else is. Before they arrive Kiki, Caitlyn, Millie, and Renee do their hair, makeup, and pick out some good looking outfits. Kiki turns to everyone and says, ďż˝We are sexy bitches!ďż˝ Renee laughs and says, ďż˝I forgot how crazy you are, Kiki.ďż˝ Jean and Isaac arrive and Renee gets questionable about why Jean is there. When Renee and Kiki are alone in the bathroom continuing to put on their final touches, she asks Kiki, ďż˝Why is Jean here?ďż˝ Kiki looks at her and says, ďż˝I believe sheďż˝s coming to the bar with us tonight.ďż˝ Renee looks sad through the mirror and Kiki notices and asks whatďż˝s wrong. Renee puts on a smile and says, ďż˝Nothing.ďż˝ ďż˝Okay then,ďż˝ Kiki says as she turns around to walks out of the bathroom to go downstairs. Renee rolls her eyes and follows her. The group goes to the bar, as Myles tries to hurry back to Clarion. Myles finally returns to the apartment. Caitlyn and Irwin are there. Irwin offers to drive him to the bar so he can pick him up later. He arrives at the bar. Inside there are many college students having a good time. Myles tries to find the group. He walks across the bar and sees Millie. He walks over bumping into people. He sees Renee for the first time since school let out. She looks gorgeous. He hugs her and they talk about how their summer went. Jean, Isaac, Kiki, and Millie tell everyone they want to dance and they do so. Myles and Renee decline. Renee asks Myles about Isaac and Jean. ďż˝Are they dating yet?ďż˝ she asks. Myles looks at her and doesnďż˝t want to break her heart. ďż˝Well, I havenďż˝t heard anything publicly announced, but I think so. Iďż˝m sorry,ďż˝ he says. Jean and Isaac are dancing face to face and Millie is right behind Isaac like usual. Renee looks across the room and notices. ďż˝So this is what goes on huh?ďż˝ Myles looks at her, ďż˝Yeah, pretty much. If you donďż˝t dance then you feel left out I guess.ďż˝ Renee grabs his hand and leads him out to the dance floor. ďż˝Weďż˝re not left out. Weďż˝re cutting a rug, even if it kills you. Letďż˝s go!ďż˝ she says and Myles struggles at first. The whole bar group is dancing up a storm when the new Justin Timberlake hit comes on. Everyone seems to like this song, especially the group. They sing along and dance all wild. Kiki looks across the way and sees a young man moving slowly as he talks to some other people. She thinks to herself that he is very good looking and that she wants him. However, she lacks the self confidence to go over and introduce herself. She taps Myles on the shoulder and gets his attention. She tells him about the guy and he looks for him and has a puzzled face. ďż˝Kiki, I donďż˝t know how to tell you this, but heďż˝s gay.ďż˝ Kiki hits Myles. ďż˝Youďż˝re kidding me. Tell me youďż˝re kidding me. He looks so fine and so straight I could taste it. What fun are you Myles?ďż˝ Myles shrugs his shoulders and continues dancing with Renee. Finally it is time for the group to return home. The plan is to arrive back at Apt. F and then just hang out. On the way out Isaac asks everyone if they want a ride with him and Jean. Renee blurts out, ďż˝Not me!ďż˝ right away. Isaac gets mad and drives off with Jean. The group then waits for their designated drivers, Irwin and Caitlyn. Everyone piles into their cars and parks at Penn Ave. Jean and Isaac have yet to arrive. The group goes inside. Kiki begins to show her drunken state. She begins to act all crazy and takes off her shirt complaining it is hot. She falls down and stumbles a little. Everyone is starting to loose their patience with her. Finally Isaac and Jean come back. Isaac walks inside and notices Kiki. She notices the door is open and wants to go outside. She manages to go outside and Isaac gets her and tells her to put her shirt back on. She refuses and Isaac gets upset even more. He walks inside grabs his laundry basket and tells Jean heďż˝s leaving and wants her to come with back to her place. The two go down to the car. Renee comes outside and sees that their leaving. ďż˝Thanks for the goodbye, have a nice life,ďż˝ she says and walks back inside. Everyone follows. Renee slams her cell phone down on the ground and starts crying and screaming. ďż˝Why is he such an asshole, why doesnďż˝t he care if he sees me or not? And why do you still like him?ďż˝ she asks why she points to Millie. The group sits in silence. Kiki starts to cry next. ďż˝This is because of me and being drunk isnďż˝t it?ďż˝ she asks while tears start to roll down her face. The group has an in depth conversation about Isaac and how Renee still feels something for him, however, she knows it is over and must move on. ďż˝Well tomorrow Iďż˝m leaving so he wonďż˝t have to see me again. I donďż˝t even know why I came up here. I figured this would happen,ďż˝ she says. Tomorrow the group meets at Millieďż˝s to say their farewells to Renee again. Renee leaves and the next week flies by filled with Clarion Dance Marathon business.

	GE 51 FnG Episode 23: ďż˝Series Finale Part 1: The Last Semester in Retrospectďż˝ The crew at 51 Penn Avenue sits in Apartment F. Their last semester as a group is finally here. The group is watching television until Kiki turns it off. She speaks, ďż˝You know, this is our last few weeks here and Iďż˝m going to miss you guys.ďż˝ Myles turns to her and says, ďż˝Oh goodie! Weďż˝re going to talk about our past. I love to talk about the past. All the fond memories, the over sharing of private memories, the not-so-fond memories.ďż˝ He sighs heavily. ďż˝Who said we were going to talk about our past?ďż˝ Kiki asks him. He replies saying that they always talk about their past and thatďż˝s all they are going to have after graduation after everyone goes their separate ways. Everyone looks around at each other. Isaac looks at Myles. ďż˝I suppose youďż˝re right,ďż˝ he says. ďż˝Well, I plan on going home after graduation, and Isaac you live close enough I could stop by and visit sometimes. Caitlyn and Millie both live near Pittsburg, theyďż˝ll have each other,ďż˝ Myles explains. Caitlyn looks over at Millie and says, ďż˝Iďż˝ll trade either one of you for Millie.ďż˝ Then after a short pause, ďż˝Iďż˝ll even throw in twenty dollars.ďż˝ The group looks at her. ďż˝Fine. Iďż˝ll even help you pack! Thatďż˝s my final offer.ďż˝ The group laughs. Millie looks at her and asks, ďż˝Iďż˝m only worth twenty dollars?ďż˝ Caitlyn looks at her and replies, ďż˝I didnďż˝t say that. I said Iďż˝d trade you for someone else, twenty dollars, and labor. Donďż˝t you see how much you I love you?ďż˝ Isaac talks to Caitlyn and tells her he will pay for her to keep Millie. Myles pipes in saying heďż˝ll chip in. Kiki, whoďż˝s sitting next to Millie, leans over to hug her. ďż˝You can always come stay with me for a week or two. I still love you. Well, now that I think about it, maybe a weekend instead.ďż˝ The group laughs. Myles reminds everyone that they were going to talk about their memories from the last semester in Clarion. The group talks about their memories sitting around in a semi circle in the living room. Myles is first to recall a memory. He turns to Irwin and asks him if he remembers the fights theyďż˝ve had. Kiki pipes in and says, ďż˝Everyone here remembers the fights youďż˝ve two have had. Iďż˝m just glad you two got over the little stuff and are finally together.ďż˝ Caitlyn agrees, ďż˝Yea, you two had a rocky beginning, Iďż˝m just glad you two are still together. If I remember right, those two werenďż˝t the only ones who had fights. Weďż˝ve all had them and I had my fair share of boy trouble. Tony was a jerk and now Iďż˝m with Mike.ďż˝ Isaac looks over at her and asks who he is. ďż˝Heďż˝s the boy I met over spring break,ďż˝ she answers. Isaac reaches for Jeanďż˝s hand to hold it. Jean looks at Isaac and smiles. ďż˝I found happiness with Jean. This semester was a good one actually.ďż˝ Millie looks over at him in shock. ďż˝What are you talking about ďż˝good oneďż˝? This semester like every semester hasnďż˝t been all good.ďż˝ Jean asks her why she thinks that way. She responds, ďż˝Well, you know how many times heďż˝s asked me to get the phone book? Every time I get it for him, he hits me with it.ďż˝ ďż˝Youďż˝ll never learn will you, Millie,ďż˝ Isaac says, ďż˝Iďż˝m really going to miss hitting you, my little Rose Nyland.ďż˝ Kiki picks up her hands and shakes them in the air, ďż˝Stupid Golden Girls! My gosh, I swear I heard more about that in the past two years, than I have the rest of my life. I mean come on! Myles, you just bought season six! It never ends!ďż˝ Myles snickers. Soon it will be time to finish up their college careers and move on with their lives. The end is upon us and the only things standing in their way are finals. The next week will be devoted to studying and preparing for their final days as Golden Eagles.
