WINTER 2004-Season One
Season One Episodes 1-3
Episode One********************************************************** Chapter I Mr. Edward BoJangles, an artist who made millions on his first album "The Secrets on the Bus" finds an old friend who doesn't really like him for his music, money, or looks. They were friends since grade school. He hasn't seen her in years since he has become one of the best professional performers in the new millennium. While landing at the Bradford Regional Airport, Edward is greeted back home from a distance by many of the regions residents including Elizabeth, Thomas, and Victoria; added security surrounds the plane and area to insure Edward's protection. As the airplane door opens flashes light up the scene like lightning. The crowd makes a roar of thunder. Edward steps out and makes it into the airport safely. He gets his luggage and begins a half hour trip to his home in Kane. He gets home to his parents and other family members and some of his extended family members would never really care if they saw him before he became famous. Now his family members love to see him and he knows that it's because his popularity so he doesn't really mind if they are around him, after all they are still family. He goes to his old room that he hasn't seen in years. There is a bed, a nightstand with a lamp and clock on it, television, basically the way he left it. Nothing looked like it was moved over the years. He turned on the television to the local channel where community events are publicized and reads, "Mr. Edward BoJangles comes home! Meet him tonight at the Kane Area Community Center!" Edward turns off the television and goes to sleep. Chapter II The next day Edward goes to the grocery store and gets his favorite things. Lipton Creamy Chicken Rice and Pepsi. While standing in the checkout line he reads the local paper "The Kane Republican" and reads the front-page headline, "Edward Disappoints Hometown Again". Edward buys a copy and continues to his car. Followed by a small group with the KR in their hands and a pen or pencil waiting for an autograph. Edward turns around and says "Sorry not today. Maybe when the KR reports something that is worth my while." Edward gets into his car and drives away. As he leaves the parking lot he notices an old friend Elizabeth through the window picking up one of her relatives that work at the grocery store. He exits the parking lot and heads home. Once home he fixes his meal and while doing the dishes the phone rings. He answers it. To his surprise he hears a familiar voice on the other side of the phone. It is Elizabeth and says that she can't stay on the line too long. She says maybe the two could go walking later. Edward agrees and the two decide on a time that fits their schedule. At eight o'clock Elizabeth shows up at Edward's home and rings the doorbell. The door opens and Edward steps out. They hug and greet each other. They take the old walking route, the one they took when they were younger. When they get to the end of a block, Elizabeth asks Edward if they should get Thomas. Thomas is another friend who used to walk with them. Edward decides not to include him on this walk because Edward wants to catch up on old times. They walk a five-mile walk and exchange fond memories of years past. Edward returns home after the town curfew of ten o'clock. He goes to his room reads the KR and then watches television. The ad for the community center is still on Kane's local channel. Edward thinks about why there was an event he wasn't invited to that he was the main person to attend. He falls asleep soon after. Chapter III Edward BoJangles wakes up to country music playing from Kane's radio station on the local channel. Edward's phone rings. He answers it and notices it's Elizabeth. She is crying with tears rolling down her face. Edward is concerned and asks, "What is the matter?" Elizabeth replies, "It's the pictures and the lies. I never wanted that. It's all lies. Don't think I am after your money. I don't even want to date you. I like you as a friend only. Honest!" "I believe you Elizabeth, calm down." Edward replies. "It's okay. I believe you. Even if you were I wouldn't mind. I've known you for a long time. Don't worry." he continued. Elizabeth calms down and asks to see Edward again later for dinner. Edward agrees and insists that he pay. They go to Texas Hot, a local restaurant owned by a family of four sons and their parents. At this point the press have followed Edward to his hometown. They plan on running a false story about how the town now hates him and that he has fallen in love with his high school friend. The press prints basically all lies and fabricates all their stories. This way they sell papers and Kane is consumed with gossip. Life in a small town with nothing to do, the best thing the citizens can do is gossip. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Edward meet for dinner. Edward reassures Elizabeth that the press is meaningless and that no one cares about the news. As soon as Elizabeth is convinced a few people that went to high school with them who still are in high school ask both of them for autographs. Elizabeth excuses herself and goes to the bathroom. Edward signs the autographs and writes, "You couldn't have asked at a better time than right now!--Mr. Edward BoJangles" The persons leave and Elizabeth comes back. Her eyes are red from crying and Edward suggests that they leave and go somewhere that they can talk in private. They go walking from Texas Hot and have a heart felt talk. They talk about how Edward and Elizabeth both have no feelings for each other except friendship. Elizabeth says that she loves someone else. Elizabeth states that she feels something for someone else and Edward is surprised that she wouldn't fall head over heels for him. The other man in Elizabeth's life is Thomas. Thomas was Edward's friend when Edward was still in town but lost touch after he left. Edward now realizes that Elizabeth wanted Thomas to walk with them so she could tell each of them the truth about how she felt. Edward apologizes about not letting Thomas come with. Elizabeth then tells Edward that he didn't know. There is a long silent pause and the screen fades into darkness. Episode Two********************************************************* Chapter I This episode starts out with Edward being waked up by his phone ringing. It is Thomas. Thomas wants to know what happened because he says he just talked to Elizabeth and wants to know what Edward thinks about all this. Edward says he doesn't know what to think. Thomas says that he doesn't think he likes her but wouldn't want to date her now because of the risk of losing their friendship. As awkward for Thomas to call Edward, Thomas finishes the conversation and both hang up the phone. After the phone call Edward showers and gets ready for the day. He then calls Elizabeth to find out what's going on. Elizabeth doesn't say much. Both seem to feel awkward toward each other. Edward apologizes again for last night and Elizabeth says not to worry about it. Elizabeth asks what they are going to do tonight. Edward says that he doesn't plan on doing anything. He wants to give Elizabeth her space but doesn't say it directly to her. She asks if anything was wrong, and Edward answers "No, there isn't anything wrong. I just don't want to do anything tonight. Maybe we'll get together tomorrow?" Elizabeth says that they'll walk tomorrow for sure. Edward then calls Victoria. Victoria became friends with Edward about a year before Edward becomes famous. She asks if he wants to do something and Edward suggests a movie night. Victoria decides to include Jana, another old friend from when Edward was in the marching band. They agree to watch some old movies like Clue and Spaceballs. They stay up late and soon Edward decides to go. Jana insists that he stay. He says he better not but does. They fall asleep during the second movie and wake up to Jana's parents eating breakfast already. Edward and Victoria decide to leave so they aren't a problem and go home. Edward chooses to go back to sleep and wakes up later in the day and makes a stop to the grocery store. He reads the headline of the KR. It reads, "BoJangles Spends the Night". It explains the whole night with pictures of Edward leaving with Victoria. Edward decides that this is enough. He goes to the Kane Republican office and asks to see who write these articles and takes the pictures. The secretary explains that she cannot release that information. Edward is mad and storms out of the office. He then drives away. Chapter II While driving home Edward almost runs over another of his old walking friends while she is jogging to stay fit for college track. Lynne comes over to the driver side door and starts screaming. Edward apologizes about almost hitting her and she asks why he was driving like that. Edward replies, "It's that damn paper. They.." interrupted by Lynne as she says, "I read." Edward asks her if she wants a ride, and she refuses because she has to jog to stay fit for track when she goes back to college. Because of Edward's huge success he didn't have time for higher education. He always wanted to become a teacher, but with his success how could he go to a college of any size. He decides that in a few years he'll go to college if he feels it's the right time. By now the public has basically forgot about him, outside of Kane, his hometown. He chooses that the time is right to use his last gasp of fame to produce his latest CD named "The Cutoff". He thinks this will be his last album so he can focus on his real future. He figures that the CD's success would take about one year to fade into musical history. That would give him enough time to begin school if he so desired. Edward holds a press conference at his old high school; the place that first sparked his interest in band in general. The press even the Kane Republican shows up and asks him a few questions about what is in store for his future. Edward says he doesn't know but he hopes that it's good whatever may come out of his life he'll make the most of it. The Kane Republican ask him questions about the stories they printed that were based on true events and the press seems excited to hear that Edward has a fling and possibly more since he's been home. He states that he's reunited with old friends but nothing dealing with love. The only relationship he's interested in having right now is friendship. He even joked about wanted to date the former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell. "If she'd give me the time of day..... I would certainly want her more than a friend." Edward jokes. The audience laughs and calms down soon after. There were basically no more questions so Edward says that the album is due out in stores by next week. He then thanks everyone for coming to his town and wishes them all a safe journey home. He also recommends that everyone go to Texas Hot afterward for a taste of their famous secret sauce. Chapter III With all the publicity working in his favor now the Kane Republican has ordered many CDs since the "Main Street Music" store went out last year. This time the Kane Republican wants to 'milk this cow' before it's all over. Edward agrees that he too is capitalist and would want to make money off of all this. After all it is he that is selling himself in a way. Edward thinks about all the "false" articles the KR has written about Edward and his friends. He plans to make his move after most of the CDs are bought. In the mean time Edward plans on just talking to his friends over the Internet or phone. Just to keep a low profile for a few weeks. A few days later he receives one very mysterious phone call. The phone call is from Geri Halliwell, the ex-Spice Girl. She quit the group about five years after the group first was formed and two years after they had a number one hit in America. Edward never planned on her calling or going over seas to sell his album. Perhaps he could make more money there. But the money was never the real answer he was doing this. As for the phone call, Geri wanted to know why Edward had to say such awful things about her. He is speechless. He can't believe his ears. He never said anything rude about Geri. Perhaps it was because of the British Tabloids that print anything horrible so twisted in lies. He tells her the press hasn't been the best friend Edward has been longing for. She understands since she knows how the tabloids can twist anything. Now that Geri is calmed down she asks him if he is coming over to England anytime soon. He says not that he knows and she says "Too bad. I was looking forward to meeting you. Perhaps another time?" Edward replies suddenly, "Yes! I would really like that." Edward realizes that he has a thing for someone else or could it just mean that he is scared of Hollywood relationships? Perhaps well find out later. The screen fades with a puzzled look on Edward's face. Episode Three******************************************************** Chapter I This episode starts off as Edward wakes up and starts his day with a cup of coffee. He then goes to his computer connects to the Internet and sees that some of his friends are online as well. Elizabeth is the first to message him. They have a conversation about whom he loves. Edward tries so hard not to reveal whom he loves at this point because he is unsure. Edward tries to change the subject but then Elizabeth notices and tells Edward not to change the subject. Edward then goes on "Away" and Elizabeth is mad. After she tells Edward what she thinks about him she gets off of MSN messenger. Just as soon as Elizabeth gets off Victoria gets on. She greets him and he uses the excuse that he has to get a cup of coffee really quick. When he leaves Victoria messages him and it reads, "It's about Thomas and Elizabeth... HURRY BACK!" Edward, after thinking about Elizabeth, returns to the computer and signs out of MSN Instant Messenger. A window pops up that says do you want to close all conversations then sign out. Edward clicks "yes". Never realizing that his friends might be in trouble or doing something like getting together or something. Remember this town is gossip driven! If something is leaked to just one person the whole town knows about it. When Edward disconnects from the Internet he gets a phone call from Victoria. She is upset that he left without talking to her. He apologizes and says "Okay, what's going on that's so important?" Victoria replies, "Well you know about Elizabeth liking Thomas right? Well, guess what Thomas told me, he doesn't like Elizabeth. Oh wait I have a beep." the line is dead and Edward is on a cliffhanger. He has no idea what else she was going to tell him. He hangs up. About five minutes later the phone rings again. He doesn't answer it, thinking it is Victoria, just to let her hold on for a while he thinks. He was right that it was Victoria, however he should have answered it. She is on her cell phone and is heading into town. She hangs up and complains about the terrible road conditions. (it being winter and all) Chapter II Edward decides to take a shower and does so. The phone hasn't ringed at all since the last time Victoria has called. He wonders why no one has called him. He goes to the answering machine and it is blinking meaning there was one message. He hits the play button and hears Victoria's voice. It starts off by saying, "Edward, why don't you answer your phone? You know whom this is so call me back. And about Thomas---Oh my God noooo!" The line goes dead. Edward is in a loss for words and can't imagine what has happened. Edward tries to call Victoria's house. There is no answer and the answering machine picks up. Edward leaves a message to have her call him back as soon as she can. Then he calls the cell phone. The voice mail turns on and while the phone is ringing, Victoria all bloody from her wounds grabs her phone. By the time she answers Edward hangs up. Just then, as she answers the phone and realizes there is no one on the line she goes to call 911. Her phone beeps and then shuts off. "What do you mean out of batteries? I just charged you before I left." She grabs her head and complains about the headache she has, after all she hit her head off of the steering wheel! She gets out of the car and faints in the side of the car with the door open. Could she be left there to die? Chapter III Edward then goes to get into his car and go to Victoria's house. He complains of how cold it is. He then gets passed Victoria's car and is puzzled. He then goes back around and finds Victoria lying in the snow! She is not responding to him at all. He doesn't have a cell phone and grabs Victoria's. Noticing it isn't going to work, he picks her up and puts her into his car in the back seat. She moans. He then goes to her car, locks it and closes the driver side door. He gets into his car and drives away to the hospital that's about fifteen minutes away! Is she going to make it? Edward turns the heat on full blast. Edward then begins to speed faster and faster. Once he gets close to town she begins to mumble.
Season 1 Episodes 4-6
Episode Four ******************************************************** Chapter I Victoria began to mumble more and more. Edward asks her a question about if she feels ok. She responds by What happened? Where am I? Edward tells her that she has been in a car accident and he is taking her to the hospital. Once they get passes the Quick Fill and Dollar General, she claims to be better and there is no need to go to the hospital. Edward refuses and still insists that she go. Soon they are at the hospital. Edward goes into the ER with Victoria and checks her in. He wants to go with her when the doctor is performing tests but isnt allowed. He gets upset but realizes that it is for the best. Edward sits in the waiting room. He is waiting for a doctor to come talk to him. Victorias parents arrive soon and confront Mr. BoJangles. Victorias mother blames Edward for everything that has happened and tells him he should leave because he is not longer welcome here. Edward replies that Victoria is his friend and would do nothing to hurt her. She claims that Victoria hasnt been sleeping well since that movie night with Jana. Edward says that nothing happened that should upset her this much to loose sleep over, and all they did that night was watch movies and fell asleep! Victorias mother insists that Edward leave because it is hurting her to see her daughter in the ER and now Victorias father gets involved and he insists that they both stop their complaining. Just then Victorias mother faints, perhaps from a heart attack. Chapter II By now Victorias father insists that he leave now since he upset his wife. Edward decides maybe it be for the best. He says that because of him their daughter is still alive. He was the one that rescued Victoria. He leaves and Victorias father has a puzzled sad look on his face. Edward gets into the car and goes back home. While at home he calls Jana and a few other friends of Victorias. He tells them to visit for him since her parents dont want to have him around. Jana goes to the hospital and talks to Victoria. Jana asks what happened and Victoria doesnt remember. She cant remember anything. (At this point you [the reader, yes you!] should realize that she was about to tell Edward something about Thomas but cant now) Jana asks if Vicky knows her. Vicky answers, Yes, of course I remember you. Jana is relieved. Perhaps she couldnt remember certain things but can remember faces and people. (this is the case I am proving.) Apparently, Victoria is going to make a fast recovery thanks to Mr. BoJangles. If it werent for him she might not have made it. Jana tells her what happened from the point about the car accident and Edward saving her. She starts to cry. Jana tells her its ok. However Victoria counters her claim and says, No, its not okay. I dont know who Edward is! Chapter III When Edward decides to throw a party in honor of Victorias recovery, he is begged not to have it by Jana. Jana tells Edward that he shouldnt do it. Edward asks why but just gets an I cant tell you why, just dont. answer. Edward gets upset. He hates when people dont tell him things. He pulls out plans for the party anyway once Jana leaves. He walks over to the garbage, looks at them one more time and makes a motion to throw them away. However, he decides that a party is just what he needs to feel better and to meet all of his old friends he hasnt been able to see for quite awhile. He mumbles something that sounds like, Why would she not want me to have this party? Edward plans more of his party. He picks up the phone to call a shop that can help him with his party needs. As soon as Edward reaches for the phone it rings! He is startled, fearing its bad news he waits for it to ring again just to delay the bad news. He answers and it is Elizabeth. She is unaware of Vickys condition. He tells her about it and then he recommends that they get together and try to take his mind off Victoria. Later that night they meet. The two meet at Edwards house and go walking. At the corner are Lynne and Thomas waiting for Elizabeth and Edward. Edward asks Elizabeth if they were walking with them tonight. Elizabeth replies with a nod. Edward then makes an excuse to go back inside. Once inside and away from everyone he wonders why they have to come with. Its not that he doesnt like them; its because he wanted to be alone with Elizabeth. His plans are not going to happen. Edward comes back out after grabbing his old New York Yankees hat and then they go for a walk. The group talks about things and laughter can be heard. Then Thomas asks about Victoria. He just wanted to know about the condition. Edward speaks up and says that shes going to pull through. Thomas thanks Edward for saving her, thinking that she might not be alive without him saving her when he did. The scene is skipped ahead where Elizabeth and Edward say their good-byes for the night and Elizabeth drives off and Edward goes inside. Episode Five ********************************************************* Chapter I This episode starts off in the morning after the day of Edward being a hero. Edward wakes up, turns on the television, and is shocked at what he sees. Every message on channel 8 is addressed to him. They congratulate him on being a hero and saving Victorias life. He makes no indication that he likes the attention and says, Well Victoria, youre welcome. As this is said there is a message that is extremely shocking. It is from Victorias parents. They thank him as well as tell him they are in a great debt to repay him for his services. He calls Victorias parents and asks that the messages be taken off of the local channel. Also he said that he doesnt want any credit for saving a friend who he loves very much. Underneath all the good feelings of being famous again this time for positive things, Edward doesnt what this unwanted attention. He just wants to be back with his friends like the good old days. He goes out of his room, gets ready for the day by showering and getting dressed, then plans on finishing the plans on the party. While trying to finish the party plans Edward gets yet another phone call. Its Vicky! Vicky says that she will be let out of the hospital on the 20th. Its the perfect time for the party, but remember that Vicky is hiding her amnesia from Edward. Edward asks her about having a party for her return. She says that she doesnt want to but eventually Edward convinces her to have one. She would like to avoid him at all cost until she can remember whom he is and what is going on. Chapter II The week goes by fast. It is now St. Patricks Day and everyone in town is getting ready for Edwards small but eventful party. Edward finishes plans. We see hes been to the bakery, flower shop, and all around town. He really wants this to be the best thing for himself. Having his friends over and celebrating a quick recovery by Victoria. Edward hasnt counted on one thing, Victorias amnesia. She doesnt remember him at all. She completely forgot about him, she called earlier because she knew she could hide herself much longer. Edward is very excited about the party. He has invitations lying on his desk. There are invitations for most of his friends such as, Elizabeth, Lynne, Jana, and even Thomas! Thomas hasnt spoken to Edward since the walk where they discussed Victorias condition. To make matters worse the reason Victoria was in the car accident was that she was going to tell him something about Thomas. However, she cant remember Edward, so she cant remember that she had to tell him something. Edward then looks at his watch. Noticing that it has gotten late than what hed realized, he rushes out the door. He goes to uptown and then to Quality Markets. While at Quality, he picks up some party supplies such as decorations for St. Patricks Day, and orders a cake that reads, Welcome Back, Victoria! On his way to the check out line he picks up the Kane Republican, the towns paper. It is front-page news for Edward and the amazing rescue. This is the attention Edward doesnt want. However, this is the truth this time and the KR isnt trying to ruin him. The day goes by fast and Edward calls Elizabeth to go for a walk tonight. She agrees. Edward is using the walks as therapy for all the stress that is going on in his life now. They go walking and the walk is fast-forwarded to the end. Edward once again goes inside, and Elizabeth leaves to go home. Edward goes right to bed as soon as he gets in the door. Chapter III It is now March 20, the day of the party. Edward has everything set up and is ready to get the cake. He leaves for Quality Markets. He gets the cake and returns home. He looks at his watch and sees that its only after three oclock. Another five hours till the party. He calls the Kane Community Hospital where Victoria is staying. The receptionist says that she was discharged earlier in the afternoon. He says, Thank you. and hangs up. Then he calls Victorias house. She answers and says, Hello? Edward is excited about hearing from her. He says, Are you coming tonight? Because if you dont feel up to it thats all right. I understand. Victoria having no idea who this is hangs up thinking it was a prank phone call. Edward calls back again, this time Victoria answers and says hello again. This time Edward addresses himself and asks if she got disconnected from the phone or something. She blames it on dropping the phone. Edward then asks if she is coming to her party. She replies that she plans on coming to stay for a little while but doesnt feel up to staying long. He says that is fine with him cause he doesnt want to jeopardize her health. Soon after he gets done talking to Vicky its almost time for the party. They both hang up and go get ready. Later after Edward takes another shower, and gets dressed, and goes up to the Kane Manor where the party is taking place. Edward rented the entire place for a whole day and the first guest arrives. Edward is so excited. He stops in his tracks and is in shock and doesnt move. He cant believe who it is. Episode Six ******************************************************** Chapter I Flashback from last episode: Edward is ready for the party and the first guest arrives. Edward is standing in the hallway in the Kane Manor in shock because he cant believe who has shown up. To the present now: Edward is stunned as his mouth is wide open he cant believe who it is. The guest says, Are you just going to stand there or are you going to greet me? Edward shakes his look off his face and says, Sure um, I wasnt expecting you, how did you know about this party? The guest replies, Well, you cant keep anything secret in this town or in fact when you are a celebrity you tend to make news. Edward doesnt reveal to us who this person is, perhaps we have meet him/her before or maybe this is a new character. The guest makes his/herself at home. Edward makes a suggestion that he/she go into the living room and watch television or just wait for him and hed be right with her to talk. Soon after Edward finishes getting the food ready, the doorbell rings again. The maid lets the guests in. It is many people that decided to come at once. Included are Victorias parents, Elizabeth, Lynne, Jana, and a few other friends. At this point Thomas is nowhere to be found. No one has heard from him since the walk about a week ago or so. Victorias parents say that Victoria is coming later because she was behind in her schedule. Which is no surprise because she just got out of the hospital. Edward then takes a small group of friends over to the mystery guest and introduces the guest to his friends. He says, These are my friends. Theres Elizabeth, Lynne, and Jana. Ladies, this is Geri Halliwell, my crush since the eighth grade. Is this not weird? Everyone is shocked to see Geri sitting at Edwards party, not to mention be in Kane! Everyone stands there with their jaws dropped until Elizabeth asks if she could speak to Edward in private. As Edward says sure, all of his old friends follow them and ask the same questions as if Edward is dreaming. Some of the questions include, What is she doing here? and Did you invite her? Although she wasnt invited, Edward likes her still and has no idea what she is doing there at a private party. Just then the doorbell rings and there is Victoria. She isnt alone. She is with Thomas who apparently was with her since Thomas car was parked outside, and he only lives a few yards away and could have walked. Chapter II Edward has been surprised twice in the same night. First his love since eighth grade, a celebrity, has graced Edward with her presence. The second surprise was when Vicky shows up at the party with Thomas. (From the start you should have guess that inviting Thomas was going to play a bigger part in this show.) Edward says he wont let that get the best of him, after all Geri Halliwell is his guest this evening. Vicky asks if Edward could talk with her a minute. Edward says he was thinking the same thing. He goes into the kitchen with her and talks about what had happened. She tells him that she cant remember him at all. She also tells him that she doesnt remember the accident and that Edward is the only one she forgets. Edward feels devastated and asks if the doctors knew that she has amnesia but she said she didnt tell the doctors. As the party gets louder, the two stand in silence. No one says a word. Then the doorbell rings again. Edward excuses himself. Victoria then goes back to Thomas and tries to enjoy herself. As Edward opens the door we see more friends that are new to the scene. Belle, Angela, and Leeza are at the door. Edward invites them in and to make themselves at home. As they go inside, they spot Geri Halliwell sitting all alone in the room. Their expression is the same as everyone elses. Jaws have been dropping all evening. He introduces them and asks Geri if she would like to talk to him alone in a room upstairs. Geri makes her way upstairs but waits at the landing for Edward. Edward is telling his friends that he is going to try to have her leave for a while but would like to talk to her later. Edward and Geri go upstairs and sit down on a bed. He asks her what she is doing at the party for Victoria. She replies that she was told that he wanted to see her. He tells her that she could stay if she wanted to but would have to stay out of sight for the night. She agrees and says that shed like to talk to him later when the party is almost over. He tells her to go into town and go get something to do in the meantime. What is she going to do; its Kane after all! She leaves and Edward returns to his friends. Chapter III The party continues for a while and everyone is having a good time. Belle, Angela, Leeza, Jana, Elizabeth, and Lynne all gather around Edward. They are upset that Geri came to the party and Edward is backed into a corner. Everyone surrounds him and everyone does not look happy. Edward tries to say he didnt know anything about her being there until she came to the door. What was he supposed to do? He sent her away for the night. Everyone feels better and they have a good time. Its getting late at about 10 or so when the old folks leave such as Victorias parents. They thank him for everything and that they wouldnt have a reason to celebrate tonight if it wasnt for Edward. Edward says that hed do that for any one of his friends. He watches her parents leave and waits in the doorway. He steps out and walks a little way along the driveway. While he is down the driveway a way, the door opens and Victoria screams Edward! so he can hear her. He stops turns and notices Victoria following the driveway walking to Edward. He waits for her to catch up. She catches up and they talk about what had happened between them in the kitchen earlier. She shutters and Edward gives her his jacket. She and Edward walk slow, trying to figure out the right time to start asking questions. Edward blurts out the first one. So, you dont remember me? She replies with a nod. Edward fights back tears and screams, This isnt fair! Victoria hugs Edward and both cry terribly into each others arms. At least I am alive and I get to start over with you, that is until I get my memory back, she says. But why didnt you tell the doctors? Edward asks. She shrugs. I mean I am really glad you are still alive and all, but I dont want to start over! I want you back. They hug again. Behind them Thomas is seen. He is following them and he runs up to them when he sees she is crying. Thomas takes Victoria by the hand and takes her back to his car to take her home. Edward stands there in the snow and cold. He screams really loud. The guests in the Kane Manor come outside and find Edward standing alone watching Thomas car drive away. One single tear streams down Edwards face across his cheek and falls to the ground freezing and hits the ground.
