| dope -adj something which is very cool (those are dope pants) e-mission -v the normally unsuccessful act of trying to do something while very high (eg. telling someone, "I'm going to get some water, want some?" then returning an hour later with no water) flail -v (-ed, -ing) 1. to act crazy 2. to do something that is not right yet should have been under normal circumstances 3. to say or do something completely ridiculous causing embarrassment (oh man I totally flailed) flyer -n the main promotional tool for promoters, lists information about a given party usu. quite graphical and catering to a ravetype way of thinking flyering -v the act of distributing flyers to ravers for an upcoming party, usu. occurs at the end of a party as people are exiting the venue going off -v when it feels impossible to stop dancing guest list -n a list of selected people who, for one reason or another, are associated with the promotor and get into the for free hardcore -adj 1. doing something to it's extreme 2. very committed to doing something harsh -adj something not good (man that harsh!) headliner -n the DJ with top booking at a party, usu. spins between 1am and 4am heinous *see harsh hella -adv a large amount of something homebase -n 1. a spot at a party where a group of friends leave all their belongings such as backpacks and bags (where are we going to homebase?) 2. a place for meeting, congregation and 4:20 at a party hook me up -when another person acts on your behalf to procure something, usu. drugs (hey man, can you hook me up?) hurtin' -a term used to ridicule someone or something (oh man he is SO hurtin') |

(conj.) a pair of pants with wide bottoms (phat pants) pre-flyer -n a flyer for a which comes out well in advance, but usu. having very little information on it *see flyer promoter -n person who throws a party or rave props - thank-you's rave -n 1. a event usu. running from 10pm to 8am includes dancing, running around, meeting new people and socializing with old friends 2. the reason for existence raver -n one who goes to raves Riverside -n a large over-used venue in Richmond sik, sick -adv praise for someone or something (that was a sik track he just played) sketched out -adj the act of being sketchy (wow, he is really sketched out) sketchfest -n a party with a low vibe and perhaps where a lot of sketchy things occur sketchy -adj 1. feeling of unease, that not everything is normal. occurs after a long night(s) or days of partying and generally an intake of various drugs. 2. imperfect awareness 3. a person who is acting oddly or abnormally (whoa, that guy is sketchy dude) Sketchy Sunday -n the time spent after a party when you are unable to sleep, yet still too tired to keep partying space -n an area used for a party, may be indoor or outdoor stoked -adv very excited about something sweet -adv extremely good, very cool teaser -n a pre-flyer but usu. with only a name, date and perhaps a infoline on it. normally sent out before any dj's are confirmed toootallly! -adv 1. completely. used when ripped and trying to realate to an idea or conversation. and usu. used in conjunction with the last 3 or 4 words from the previous sentence. ("Are we going to the party?" - "Toootallly going to the party.") trashed -adv *see burnt trippy -adv 1. seeing or hearing something that may or may not be present but which causes an individual to believe it is beyond the realm of reality. 2. something cool (woah dude...that's really trippy) tweek -an angry reaction to something (man, he really tweeked on me) twinkie -n a female who goes to a party only because it is the 'in' thing to do, easily recognized by shoes that are impossible to dance in and skimpy skirts. |
