Chapter 4

"...last night at Club Blue downtown, gun shots erupted in a very large crowd at newly opened club. Inside sources say that the popular band N*Sync were part of the crowd and barely escaped through the mass of dancers. The two men who pulled out guns have been arrested."

Kristina turned her television off and sighed. She had heard just about enough as she wanted to hear from the CBC broadcaster. (for you guys that don't know CBC is a Canadian station kind of like NBC that you can get here too) Last night had to be a nightmare right? There she was dancing it up with her friends that she hadn't seen in awhile, having a great time, finally seeing Justin again only for all of that to happen. It had to be fate that brought them back together right? So why was it that fate tore them apart? Oh who was she kidding, she was watching way too many soap operas. That stuff didn't happen in real life. She was lucky someone of Justin's caliber even looked at her. She'd never see him again that was for sure. She couldn't compete with fake boobs and blonde hair. She was just some middle class black girl from a city people tried to avoid like the plague. She wasn't some dancer, singer or actor. She was just some girl that worked at a pizza place. Trying to think no more of everything that happened, Kristina grabbed her uniform and changed out of her sweats.

"Grandma I'm leaving out!"

"Alright, be careful."

"Alright." Kristina hopped into her black neon and headed downtown to her job. She didn't like the fact that she had to drive almost a half an hour just to get to work but it was the only thing she could find. "Big ass city, I'm moving to the country one of these days" she grumbled to herself.

"Well you look you've been having a great day."

"Oh yeah its just been peachy." Kristina walked in to the pizza place and punched in. Thank goodness today her friend Emma was working or she'd be done for. Emma knew all of her attitudes and knew when to back away. Now was the time. Fiddling around with the radio dial, she turned to 93.1 the local pop station and listened to the last bit of The Remedy by Jason Mraz.

"Hey so did you guys here about the whole shooting across the boarder last night? Heard N*Sync was there and just barely got away from the gunshots. Well Thank God for that right, here they are on DRQ

You might've been hurt, babe

That ain't no lie

You've seen them all come and go, oh..

I remember you told me

That it made you believe in

No man, no cry

Maybe that's why"

"Since when you been listening to N*Sync? I thought you hated them." Kristina snapped out of her thoughts.

"Uh yeah, right. Can you turn on the Robbie Williams cd?"

"Yeah sure." Emma walked over to the radio and turned on Kristina's cd. Though Robbie wasn't too popular in America he was her favorite singer. But right now listening to him so didn't help. It took her thoughts right back to Justin.

Come and hold my hand

I wanna contact the living

Not sure I understand

This role I've been given

I sit and talk to God

And he just laughs at my plans

My head speaks a language

I don't understand

I just wanna feel

Real love feel the home that I live in

Cos I got too much life

Running trough my veins

Going to waste

Kristina just slammed her head against the counter that sat before her. Today was definitely going to be a long day.

****************************

"Thanks for meeting with me." J.C. sat across from the man he called on. If anyone could find Kristina it was this guy or at least he was told it was this guy. He sort of reminded him of Robert Stack, you know the Unsolved Mysteries guy? He had like this big trench coat that was just unnecessary for the Californian heat and more wrinkles than one a crumbled dress shirt.

"Very welcome, so give me the goods. Who did you need me to find?"

"The thing is I don't know much about her, neither really does Justin."

"Well tell me what you know."

"Um she's short, 5'3 I think. She's pretty small from what I can tell but she not sickly thin or anything. Her hair's is brown but it's a little red too and she's light."

"What about a name?"

"All I have is that her name is Kristina. From what Justin told me she's born in January and that she's 20 so she's `84. I don't really know what day though just that its before the 31rst and that she's born and raised in Detroit, she hasn't been much anywhere else." The older man finished writing down the rest of the information J.C. gave him. "You've got to find her man, Justin is like bugging out of his brains about this one chick. Why I do not know."

"I'll see what I can do. It's going to be hard, but I'll try."

"Thanks." J.C. gave the older man a pat on the back. One could only hope that he could find her. Hours later the man traveled up to Michigan and began his search. He wasn't working with much but he'd try to do what he could.

*********************

A week later.

J.C. had just left Justin's and he was doing pretty bad. He tried to fake it by giving him these unconvincing smiles but it didn't work on him. He knew deep down his boy was hurting for this girl. He had to find her, he just had to. As J.C. was driving down the busy Californian highway his cell began to ring.

"Yeah?"

"Its me Boccheri."

"Did you find her?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Chasez but no such luck. Its almost as if this girl doesn't exist."

"Are you sure, did you look good?"

"I did everything, nothing." J.C. put his head down. That was it. He tried, he tried for his best bud and nothing. How was it that she was nowhere to be found? Was she playing Justin? Sadness became anger, who was this girl really? Thoughts ran through J.C.'s mind while Kristina was helping push pizza's into the oven.

"I hate being short!!!" she complained for the umpteenth time.

"I think you got someone at the counter."

"Alright." Kristina jumped out of the chair and headed for the front. "Hi welcome to Pizza Papalis, may I take your order." The man looked at her as if he was looking at something that had 3 heads, purple eyes and antlers. "Sir?" The man looked down at her name tag: Kristina. She fit the description perfectly.

"Are you Kristina, born sometime in January 1984?"

"Who wants to know?"

"Joshua Chasez."

"Who?" Being really unfamiliar with the band left her clueless on names.

"I believe he goes by the name J.C. instead."

"Sorry never heard of him." "He's in the band Nsync?" Kristina stopped in her tracks and looked at the man.

"January 18th, 1984."

"I need to speak with you."

"Order a lemonade." The man was confused but went along and did as she asked.

"I'll take a lemonade."

"Great." Kristina fixed the lemonade and passed it to the man. "Shanna, I'm taking my break!"

"Alright." Kristina came from around the counter and sat across from the man who looked like he could be some old timey detective. "He sent me here because of his friend Justin. He's a wreck and needs you to get in contact with you immediately."

"Well just give me his cell, I'll call him."

"Better than that, Mr. Chasez has provided tickets for you to leave to Los Angeles next week if possible."

"Look I appreciate all this but I don't know you from Adam and the best thing I've leaned from living in this city is not to take anything at face value. How do I know that you're not some psycho killer?"

"Ma'am with all due respect I get paid a lot more for finding people not kidnapping. I've tried to look you up and found nothing. Why is that? I was ready to leave."

"I was born at a hospital that closed years ago. All their records are just scattered, I can't even get my vaccination records."

"Would you be offended if I did a background search on you?"

"Whatever, do what you have to do." In mere minutes the man did his background check which came clean. Why was it that he couldn't find anything? He continuously spelled her name wrong. Now with the clean slate he was ready to get her out to California as soon as possible.

"Do you think you'll be able to leave here by next week?"

"I thought you'd never ask." Kristina took two of fingers and dipped it into the lemonade before dropping the tart drink in her eyes. "Be right back." Kristina got up from the table and walked to the back. "Shanna, I'm going to have to call next week off."

"Why what's wrong?"

"Its my great grandma Janine, she--she--she died. I have to fly out to California for her funeral."

"Oh dear I'm sorry to hear that, sure you can have next week off. As a matter of fact go home be with your family."

"Thanks." Kristina grabbed her hand bag and left out with the PI.

"Great acting."

"Thanks, tell J.C. I'm on my way."

"Will do ma'am." Kristina handed her number to him and with glee danced to her car. "Hello Krystal, guess who's going to California?!"

Chapter 5

If Kristina read that magazine one more time she'd probably flip. Who knew it took so long to get to California? She wouldn't have known seeing as though she had only been to Michigan #2 and Michigan #3 also known as Ohio and Indiana. She was a Midwestern girl and California was going to be something different. At least the plane ride wasn't as scary as she thought it would be.

"How much longer?" she whispered to the PI.

"Flight 457 to LA will be landing shortly please put on your seatbelts."

"There's your answer." 10 minutes later the plane landed in sunny California. The PI found the driver for the limo J.C. ordered for them. "That's us over there." Boccheri and Kristina moved out to the limo. Her eyes grew wide; the last time she was in a limo was prom and that was only like 10 minutes. Sitting down in the limo was just what's the word--shocking? Was that it? It was all happening and it was all happening now!

"What am I going to say to him? Do I look ok? What if he doesn't care anymore?" The PI looked over to her and raised his eyebrow. "Ok scratch that." Kristina pulled out her cell phone and called Krystal.

"What do you want beeyatch?"

"I'm here! I'm here!" she giggled.

"Fantastic, how was your flight?"

"It was ok. Clarke I'm so nervous! What am I going to say?! You know me, when I'm nervous I say dumb stuff."

"Ok yeah, that's true. Just take a deep breath and chill. You're seeing Justin Timberlake of all people, just be cool. Though it may be hard for a lameiod like you, I'm sure you can do it."

"Wow thanks Krystal, your advice is effective" she said sarcastically.

"Well you did call me at 10, I don't do mornings."

"Yes you do quit lying! I'll call once I'm there."

"We're here."

"Huh?"

"BYE!" Krystal hung the phone up before Kristina could whine anymore. They stopped a little down the road where J.C. was waiting by his jeep.

"Hey I'm so glad you made it!" J.C. held his arms out and gave her a hug.

"I'm so glad you got me out here. I was losing hope that I'd ever see him again."

"Well lets not continue to stall this let's go." Kristina turned around and looked back at the PI.

"Bye man man." Kristina jumped over into J.C.'s jeep and drove up the road. He told her about everything that was going on with Justin. She was depressed but man he sounded like he was worse. Could she alone really make someone feel that way. Before she knew it they were pulling up a long driveway.

"I'm going to punch in the code and drive you to the front. I want this to be a surprise."

"You are a really good friend."

"I try." If Kristina thought that limo was something the house was even better. She had never seen a house that big before in her life. Sure there were mansions in downtown Detroit, including the mayor's mansion but this was in a whole league of its own. "Nervous?"

"Just a little."

"Don't be, he's going to be so happy to see you."

"One can only hope. Thanks again." Kristina gave J.C. a kiss on the cheek and hopped out. She knocked on the door a few times but nothing. Was he home? Boy she'd feel like an idiot if he wasn't. J.C. was now long gone and she didn't really know anyone in California besides some distant family she had never met before. She tried once more and heard a voice in the distance.

"Its open." She didn't really know what to do, she just walked in slowly. She didn't know where she was. She just looked around a little at the huge mansion. The kitchen made her room look like a shoe box and the staircase in the shape of a T was just unbelievable. She followed down the hall where some music was playing in hopes of finding him in which she did, sprawled out on the couch beer cans all over the place. What the hell happened there? He was pretty stoned out of it with a beer can half full still in his hand. Kristina made her way through the clutter and over to Justin. Slowly she took the beer can out of hand and placed it on the floor.

"Justin? Justin?" she whispered. He stirred a little but did not wake. So Kristina moved in a placed a soft kiss on his lips. Then another which got him moving. His blue eyes opened and focused on hers. "Hey" she smiled. Justin still said nothing just grabbed her close and kissed her as if he'd never kiss anyone again. Justin's tongue moved so many ways she was sure if she could keep up. His mouth was clamped on her to the point she just had to go along with it. Finally he stopped and looked at her. Something was off, she couldn't pinpoint it, but the way he looked her was so dreamy. "Justin?"

"Where's your red swimsuit?"

"Huh?" Justin just shrugged it off and returned back to kissing. No one had ever kissed her like that before in her life. Maybe this was a reason to stop hating Britney now if this is how they kissed. Justin laid his left hand on the small of her back bringing her in closer. His moans almost harmonized with the music that played from the small radio behind them. When he stopped he just looked at her. She was so beautiful. "Justin?" Hearing her voice, something just clicked. The way he looked at her change. It was now more a look of confusion.

"Kristina?"

"Yeah." Now he was really confused. This was a dream wasn't it? So why'd it feel so real? Why did her hands on his forearms feel so warm? Why did her perfume smell so good?

"Kristina?"

"Yeah?" she laughed. "I'm here babe, I'm really here." Frantically he pulled her in and held her tight.

"You're here?"

"Yeah I am."

"How?" Justin pulled back and looked at her.

"J.C. found me."

"You're really here?!"

"Yeah I am." Happily he picked her up and twirled her in his arms. His dreams finally came true. All the nights he dreamt of holding her and kissing her and now she was here in the flesh. He didn't want to think anymore he, he just wanted to kiss and kiss and kiss her as much as he could. When he came up from the kiss he looked mortified. "What's wrong? I used some binaca before I came over."

"No its not that, my place. It looks horrible."

"No its ok, really."

"No its not ok." Justin tried to pick up one of the cans but stumbled. Kristina caught him.

"Babe you're drunk. You need to sleep this off."

"No I'm fine."

`No you're not fine. I want you to go and lay down, I'll clean this up."

"You're a guest at my home, you're not cleaning up my mess."

"If you don't go and lay down--"

"You don't even know what room."

"I'll find it."

"Kristina, I'll lay down if you come and lay with me."

"Sure thing, now go" she laughed.

"Ok." Justin walked up the steps slowly to his room while Kristina picked up the empty beer cans from the living room. She was for sure that Heineken was getting mucho grande bucks from Justin alone. After getting it as clean as she could she made her way upstairs. She opened up a few doors, nothing. Maybe she should've asked him which room. Finally she found the room and found Justin sound asleep. She wasn't exactly tired but just being close to him at the moment was all she could ever ask for. So crawling into the bed and laid down next to Justin and placed her head on his chest. Instantly he placed his arm around her waist to hold her closer and there they were finally together.

*************

Kristina could feel Justin moving beneath her. She didn't know what time it was but at the moment she didn't care. Everything just felt so good, so right.

"You're up" she whispered. Justin didn't say anything, just turned over and climbed on top of her. It was as if he just couldn't stop kissing her. He was addicted to her kisses. Kristina could feel Justin's hand rubbing up and down her bare right thigh. She loved the feeling he was giving her but she was also very nervous. Just as Justin's hand went to the band of her panties her cell phone began to ring. Quickly she jumped up.

"Phone." It was almost as if she ran to her purse from the bed to grab her phone. "Hello?"

"Kris, did you make it?"

"Yes I did" Kristina let out a sigh of relief. It was her older sister Kim that called. Though they weren't as close as they used to be she covered for her about her little trip. If her mother or her grandmother knew she was in California with a guy no less they'd flip their wigs.

"Are you having a good time?" Kristina looked over to Justin who watching her from the bed.

"More than a good time. Look I'll call you later ok?"

"Alright, bye."

"Bye." Kristina hung up the phone and walked over to the bed. "Why are you sitting so far away?"

"No reason" she smiled. Kristina moved in closer and sat in his lap.

"So I was thinking we should do something."

"Oh boy" she thought.

"Maybe hit the mall, do some shopping."

"Shopping what are you going to be, some more blue?"

"No something for you."

"Something for me? I don't need anything."

"Oh come on, we can get some booty shorts and tank tops." Kristina just laughed.

"You're funny, you are trying to turn me into a hoe. Besides I already have some booty shorts. I don't really need anything Justin, seriously."

"Kristina--"

"No, I'm not here for money or shopping or all that stuff. I'm here for you. I'm used to not getting what I want or getting something I don't need, k?"

"Ok, I'm beginning to believe that someone put in a good word for me upstairs and sent you to me."

"And vice versa."

"Look I have an idea, come with me." Justin took Kristina's hand and pulled her downstairs. "Wait right here."

"Ok." Kristina waited in his living room. She looked at all the pictures that dawned his counter. Some of his family, some of his friends. They looked so happy together. Oddly enough it made her miss her friends back home.

"Here we go." Kristina turned around and faced two bikes. "Let's go."

From that point on they had a great time. Justin knew all the spots to ride where he wouldn't be seen and together he and Kristina rode around under the Californian sun. The smile on her face couldn't be replicated. The sun glowed on her skin and the wind blew through her hair in such a picturesque way. From there they went to an ice cream shop and picked up some DVD's. For the first time in a long time Just felt like Justin. Not Justin Timberlake superstar or teen heartthrob but just Justin. Justin that could laugh at the horrible CGI's in the He-Man movie or throw popcorn back and forth. Tonight was like a dream come true.

"Do you have something to sleep in?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go change."

"You can change in front of me."

"Ha ha, very funny." Kristina took her clothes and went into the bathroom to wash her face and change into her sleeping clothes. After she dried her face off something in the corner of her eye caught her attention. She didn't mean to be nosy but she just had to see if it was what she thought it was. Gently she opened up the drawer. Right before her very eyes was a box of condoms. She could literally feel her heart race. "Ooooookkk. Kristina Marie Anderson, what have you gotten yourself into?"

Chapter 6

"Hey babe."

"So you're still my words now?" she laughed walking over to the bed.

"I like it when you call me babe." Kristina climbed into the bed and laid down in Justin's arms. Once again Justin shifted himself on top of her.

"I'm not sure if I can stop kissing you."

"Then what are you going to do come Saturday when I'm not here?"

"Wither up and die."

"Tah yeah right" she scoffed.

"I'm serious. You hear about these people that just meet one time and they instantly fall in love and you think that shit just doesn't happen. But its happened. Its happened to me."

"Oh Justin" Kristina moved up and kissed him. The kiss was very soft but soon grew very passionate. The kiss would've went until Kristina feel his obvious arousal on her thigh. She halted, confusing him.

"What? What is it?"

"Um Justin, there's something I have to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Um….I don't exactly plan on having sex until I'm married."

"Oh." He tried to not sound to surprised but people still that? Didn't Britney say she was going to do that? Wait, that's why she jumped from the bed earlier when he reached for her panties. "I'll totally understand if you want to ship me back to Detroit tomorrow--" Justin put his finger across her lips to stop her.

"I understand your decision, its perfectly ok with me. It'll be hard, I won't lie. Its kind of hard to resist ya, but I'll do it." Most guys would run for the hills after hearing that, especially some big star that could get laid anytime he wanted. Someway she felt different with him. "Can I still kiss you?" Kristina just laughed.

"You can kiss me anytime you want."

"Even after eating onions, garlic and hummus?"

"Now why would anyone eat that combination anyways?"

"Cuz I'd want to that's why!"

"Ok well then that'd be the exception."

"Nope."

"Justin! Come on! That's just yuck."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!"

"I'll show you yuck!" Justin snatched Kristina up and tickled her till she couldn't stand anymore.

******************************

"I'm nervous."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I just feel like sort of a dork amongst you guys." "Oh shut up, come on." Justin and Kristina got out of the car and followed Justin down the private beach behind Chris' house. Today they were going to hang out with the guys.

"Look who's here guys!" Kristina and Justin came down hand and hand to the small crowd.

"Hey everyone."

"So let me guess this is the beautiful Kristina you've been ranting over" Joey said coming up from the sand.

"This is she."

"Very nice to meet you." They might not have made any commitments to each other yet but Justin definitely didn't like the look Joey was giving his girl. "I'm Joseph, but you can call me Joey."

"Ok Joey."

"Hi I'm Lance" he smiled before kissing her hand. His voice was so deep that she couldn't help but giggle a little.

"I'm Chris nice to finally meet you."

"Same."

"And well you know me."

"That I do J.C."

"Well guys have a seat, get comfy, grab a beer or something."

"I'll take a Pepsi, I've got one year left to go."

"Cool." She had seen these guys on some of the magazines as she skimmed for her Allure's and Elle's at CVS and now here they were sitting in front of her laughing and talking just like she and her friends. They were all pretty nice, especially Joey. Maybe a little too nice, but she still had a good time. Soon J.C.'s, Chris' and Joey's girlfriends came by. She was a little surprised that J.C.'s girlfriend Desiree, or Dez as she'd rather be called was black too but she was gorgeous, so it was understandable. She sort of reminded her of Christina Christian from the first American Idol. Chris' girlfriend Ashley was really tall, probably taller than him reminded her of Shandi from Top Model and Joey's girlfriend Candace looked like Vanessa from TRL. They were all pretty cool but she got more of a good vibe from Ashley and Dez. They sort of reminded her of some people she went to high school with.

"Hey you want to walk down the tide? Talk?"

"Yeah sure, I'll be back babe."

"Alright." Candace got up and went in the house and the rest of the girls walked down the beach.

"Dude your girl is hot."

"I would think you'd think that after eyeballin her up Joe."

"Sorry dude, I can't help but appreciate the female form."

"Plus she is looking kind of tight in them shorts" J.C. agreed.

"If that's how they make in Detroit I might have to make a trip back."

"Man ya'll stop talking about my girl like that!"

"Ok, ok, we're just playin with ya. You seem so happy."

"She must be keeping our boy busy eh?" All the guys laughed. Justin kept that little tidbit about the whole sex thing to himself. He wasn't afraid of what they'd say or was he? Would they clown out on him because he wasn't getting any? Or would they understand? He shrugged away his thoughts and joined the conversation.

"Deep in thought there buddy?"

"Yeah a little."

"What's up?"

"I don't know, I mean I'm having such a good time right now. But what's going to happen when she leaves Saturday?"

"Man today is only Tuesday, aren't you thinking way ahead of time?"

"Yeah I guess."

"Look man just enjoy your time together and everything when happens it happens k?"

"Right." Justin put his head down and looked out to the end of the beach. Apparently the girls were getting along because they were all laughing and smiling with each other as they were walking. What would really happen come Saturday?

************************

Justin leaned over to hold and found right side of his bed empty. Where was Kristina? Ok he knew there weren't enough beers in the world to make him dream up all that stuff that happened in the past few days. Quickly he jumped out of the bed and looked in the bathroom. Nothing. He stood there for a minute and let everything soak in. The smell of breakfast food and singing overcame him. Going down the stairs he found Kristina dressed with her megaphones on dancing while she was cooking. He just stood there and watched her. She looked so adorable.

I wanna breathe you

I wanna feel you near

This is my confession

I wanna see what you see when your cry those tears

This is my confession

I wanna breathe you

I wanna feel you near

Give me just a second

What am I to do, maybe its obsession,

This my confession

Justin placed his hands on her waist scaring the crap out of her. "Oh my word, you scared the crap out of me."

"Sorry" he laughed.

"No you're not."

"You're right, what is all of this?"

"Breakfast babe, French toast, eggs, sausage and fruit."

"I didn't have any fruit and eggs in the fridge."

"I know I went out to the store."

"When?"

"Earlier, I'm not much of a morning person but I thought it'd be nice."

"You didn't have to do all of this."

"But I wanted to. So sit down, I'm almost done with everything." Justin plopped down and Kristina fixed their plates.

"So who were you singing?"

"Oh.no one."

"No one?"

"Yup." Justin walked over to her cd player before she could get to it and held it up high. Of course she couldn't reach it.

"Nick Carter? Ouch straight to the heart."

"I'm sorry--"

"Nah he's cool. I've met him a few times."

"I thought you guys hated each other?"

"Nah, we're actually alright with each other. Chris and Howie are friends."

"Wow didn't know that."

"Not many people do, but back to the song. I like it, I want that to be our song."

"My confession?"

"It sounds like us. I'll get it today so when you're gone I'll think of you when I listen to it."

"Oh that is cute, but corny."

"Corny?! Did you just call me corny?!"

"I believe I did Mr. Timbercakes."

"Oh you are going down for that one!" Justin got up from the table and picked her up like a rag doll. She was going to pay for the Timbercakes and he'd see to it.

****************************

The hip hop music blasted in the club that they all decided to meet up at that last night Kristina would be there. The past week had been pure bliss to Justin and Kristina but they all knew this was going to happen. At least they could go out in a bang right? So there while the music played everyone talked and just had a good time.

"Hey Tina, I'm giving you a credit on my cd" J.C. yelled over the music.

"Why?"

"Cuz I wrote a song called `Some girls dance with women' after seeing you and ya girls at the club."

"Really?

"Yeah, ya'll was hot."

"Well thanks" she smiled.

"Speaking of that, you want to dance?"

"I don't know, me dance with you? I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up."

"I should be saying that about you, come on girl." Justin grabbed Kristina's hand and lead her down to the floor. They sort of danced apart. "What you shy now?"

"What?" Not saying anymore Justin grabbed her up and pressed her close as they danced so hot that it was quite possibly as close as she would get to sex at the moment. After a few more dances with Justin, a few with Lance and Joey they decided to call it a night. "I have a surprise for you at home."

"Ooooh ok." Justin hurried back home, crossing his fingers that Chris got everything right.

"Alright, we're here." Justin came over and opened her door. "Close your eyes."

"Ok" she laughed. Justin opened the door and lead her in.

"Ok open them."

"Oh Justin" she sighed. The whole living room was filled with rose petals and rose scented candles. The light was amazing. Justin grabbed the remote and pressed play. `Their song' My Confession played.

"May I have this dance."

"Hmm I don't know, I know this other guy that might dance a little better than you. I think his name is Justin."

"Well I couldn't be any luckier that's my name too!" they just laughed. "Come on girl." Just lead her to the middle of the floor and they danced a little slower to the upbeat song.

"I'm gonna miss you."

"Mm-mm, we're not even talking about that right now. We're going to just saturate ourselves in this moment right now." She said no more just danced along with him. He softly kissed her on the head after the song ended. "I want to carry you upstairs. I know I can't make love to you but I want to love you, if that's ok?"

"Quite alright." In one swift motion he lifted her into his arms and carried her to his room. He laid her down on his bed, looking down at her they just sort of stayed that way looking at each other. Why wouldn't it come out? Why couldn't he just tell her how he felt and vice versa? Why couldn't tell him how she felt about him? He just shook the thoughts out of his head and walked to his closet and changed his clothes while she went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. When they were finished they returned to the bed and laid in each others arms.

************************

"Flight 457 to Metro Airport now boarding." Those 5 little words were like poison to their ears. They knew that it was going to happen but it just felt so soon.

"That's me" her voice broke.

"No"

"Justin I gotta go."

"Don't go please."

"Justin, I gotta go back. Babe I don't want to go either but I don't have a choice."

"When will I see you again?"

"I don't know."

"Last call for Flight 457 to Metro Airport."

"Justin I gotta go." Justin didn't want to let go. Both were crying as they held onto each other tight.

"Don't go." She didn't say anything, she just let go and headed for the gate. Justin right behind her kept pleading with her not to leave but she had to. Her time was up. "Kristina!! Please!!" She looked back at her one last time before going down the hall to her flight. Justin stood there and watched her board the plane. Both could feel each other eyes boring into one another. Justin waited until the plane disappeared into the California sky before realizing his soul mate was once again 3000 miles away.
