Chapter 37
Justin and Amelia's vaction had been going wonderful for the past week they spent in Maui. They did everything possible from, snorkling, tanning, going to local clubs, etc. Justin was very grateful that the press had not yet found out about his get away. He wanted this time alone with Amelia and to possibly prepare her for the worst to come. He felt very helpless to her when people would verbally attack her. She way paying the price to be his girlfriend and it tore him into pieces, knowing she was going to get hurt for loving him.

Sitting on the top of the bed dressed in a white capri pants and tan tank top with tan platforms, Amelia shook Justin lightly. A groan came from his mouth when he opened his eyes. A giggled escaped her mouth watching her boyfriend awake.

"Baby, I'm sorry to wake you up, but I'm going to go shop around the town. Ok?," told Amelia, rubbing Justin's back.

"Yeah, that fine, but take Lonnie with you. I would feel much better if I knew you were out in the public with him," said Justin, fully awakening from her mentioning of leaving.

Sighing, Amelia gave Justin a pleading look."Do I have to go out with a bodygaurd? I'm not a popstar." Sitting up, Justin grabbed both of her hands.

"You know this already. You may not be one, but you are a girlfriend to one and with the public knowing who you are, you can easily be attacked," said Justin, hoping to get through to Amelia.

"Ok, I will go out with Lonnie attached to me like a leech," smirked Amelia, making Justin laugh at her fake  enthusiam.

Amelia had been having a very good time shopping around the town of Maui. She was so amazed by the liveliness and the people of Maui. She was very skeptical of Lonnie following her because he was very well known by the fans, so far they hadn't had a problem, but it was way too early to say. Feeling as though someone was staring at her, she turned around and made eye contact with a American girl possibly around the age of 16-17. Turning around quickly, she gave Lonnie the sign to be alert. Before she knew it, the girl was approching her with fire in her eyes.

"Well, look what we have here, Justin Timberlake's
black girlfriend," smirked the young girl, standing in front of Amelia. Lonnie immediately felt the need to approach, but Amelia gave the 'no, I can handle this' signal.

"Yes, I am Justin's girlfriend. My name is
Amelia. Is there anything I can do for you?," she asked, taking a deep breath for the verbal lashing she was going to get.

"Yes, you can give us back Justin. I really don't see what he sees in you because you are not the prettiest girl I've ever seen. There is so many things wrong with you that I can list, but it would take all day. Did you know Justin is white and him being white means he belongs to a
white woman not black," said the young girl, propping her hands on her hips.

"I know Justin is white, but I see no color. I look beyond his and my color because we are in love. I really don't like to disrepect anyone, especially a fan of Justin's, but you're very ignorant. Your perspective of how a race should be with the same race is perposterous. That's what wrong with the world these days, they don't move on from the past," said Amelia.

"Like your parents?," innocently asked the girl. Amelia's mouth closed with shock. She was confused. How did this girl know about my family an there ways. Did Mya give gossip on it?

"How would you know if my parents are like that? You don't know me or them," asked Amelia, trying to keep a straight face.

"Oh, you don't know? Your parents and friend, Mya did an interview with BOP and they gave all the dirt about how they feel. It must be really hard not having your family support you with Justin. I would've done the same if I had chosen him over my family. It must be horrible being in your postion," gushed the girl with a fake tone. Amelia felt like a trapped animal in a cage just being around this girl. She was triggering things that she had kept
ever so tightly closed. Feeling as though tears were about to fall, Amelia held it in with all her might to say one last thing.

"I don't know what your purpose was for coming up to me, but it one that I will never want to know. You're very strong and opinionated and I know that I will never get to you, but put yourself in my shoes. I have to deal with fans like you who only purpose of hating me is because I'm black and date your favorite popstar. You must feel like I've taken him away, but I have not. Justin loves all of his fans no matter what and as long as I'm with him, I will do the same because you'll love him just like I do. I 'm not like any of Justin's old girlfriends. I love him, not his money or fame. I don't know your name, but it was nice meeting you even under this circumstance and this is the end of our discussion" maturely spoke Amelia.

"Yeah, whatever," said the girl before walking away from Amelia. Amelia closed her eyes tight so the tears wouldn't fall, but she couldn't help it. They feel freely from her eyes as Lonnie finally approached her. Lonnie tried to comfort her, but she kept pushing him away.

"No, I just want to go back to the hotel and release all this stress," said Amelia, getting a nod from Lonnie. Both making their way to the car. Secretly, Lonnie makes a call to the hotel, telling Justin in brief sentences what he saw and heard from afar and to prepare from what may come when she enters the room. He just hoped that the
girl hadn't ruin Justin's romantic get away or he would have to put up with arguments between the two later on.
