| The sounds of 'Like I love You' was blaring through the dance studio as Justin, a couple of dancers, and Marty, the chorographer all danced in sequence. Sweat poured off of all of them. They had been working none stop for the show on the VMA's and the Video. He was so hyped up about everything, but also nervous because his boys weren't there to back him up. Right after Celebrity, he sort of jumped on the whole solo thing especially since he had all this free time and didn't want to think about his lost of Amelia. In many ways, writing songs about certain things about them on Justified was therapy for him especially the song, 'Still On My Brian'. That was specifically about her and 'Cry Me A River' had section of it. Saying words like, "You told me you loved me, Why did you leave me all alone? and You were my sun, You were my earth, But you didn't know all the ways I loved you, no, So you took a chance, Made other plans." "So, be here by 8 tomorrow. Its our last practice before the VMA's. Are you nervous?, asked Marty. Justin gave him 'duh' look. "Man, I'm scared out of my mind and hyped at the same time," laughed Justin, Marty joining in on his laughter. "That understandable. Check you later," said Marty, doing their usual hand shake. Walking off towards Trace and his mother, he gave her a hug and kiss. "You did a great job sweetie. I'm very proud of you," expressed Lynn, making Justin blush and Trace laugh. Kissing him on the cheek, she disappeared off to talk to Justin's assistant who had just entered the room. "I certainly agree with your mom, J. That was awesome. You're really going to kill it on the VMA's", encouraged Trace. Giving Justin a pat on the back. "Thanks man. It really means a lot to me that you enjoyed it. Like I was telling Marty, I fell very hyped and nervous. I hope everything goes well," laughed Justin. "Me too. Sorry to cut this short with you man, but I promised Kelly I'll take her shopping," said Trace, looking at his watch. "That alright man. I'll see ya later," said Justin, doing their little hand shake. Laughing as Trace almost tripped over his feet, he went outside from the back of the studio to his car. Inhaling a deep breath, Justin looked up at the sky. He was living a dream. He has a wondeful family, a career, great friends, and a new girl he had in his life. Channel was her name and she was a model for Victoria Secret. He met her at an afterparty about 5 months after Amelia left him and he sort of got involved with her. He was lonely and vunerable in many ways when he met her. Nobody understood why he got together with Channel because she wasn't his type nor did she love him, just his money, but had a guess that it dealt with getting rid of the pain caused from Amelia's dissapearance or he was just too damn blind to notice her munipulative ways and didn't say much about it afterwards. Amelia left a deep scar on Justin's heart that he couldn't heal. He would look at pictures of their happy days and cry sometimes at night because the pain was too unbearable. He badly wanted to know her reasons of leaving. There were so many unanswered questions he wanted answered. He often thought about what his life would be like now if she wouldn't have left him. They probably would have been married and possibly planning to have a child. Sighing, Justin leaned his head back on his car. He was beating himself up again over Amelia. Since the day she left, he'd been a wreck and still was. No matter what he did, he couldn't stop the pain or the need to still love her. Sometimes, he would have reoccurring dreams of Amelia returning to him, but something would fuck it up and she would end up leaving him again, for good. He never understood those dreams, but Lynn told him the dreams could be warning him ahead of time what might come true. The rings of Justin's cell phone brought him out of his deep thoughts. Pulling it out of his pockets, he answered it without looking at the caller Id. "Hello." "Hey baby, where are you? I miss you and you promised to spend some time with me tonight," whined Channel. Mentally groaning, he switch the phone to his left ear. "I'm still at the studio and I sorry, but I would really like to be alone tonight. I'm quite drained from rehearsal and I have to be early," he calmly said. "What?! JJJ-Justin, I don't want to be alone tonight. You promised me and you've had enough time alone for god sake. Am I not important enough for you to spend your time with," screamed Channel. Releasing a sigh, Justin ran his hands across his face. "Channel will you calm down. You're important, but I need some space and time. I have to go now. Bye," said Justin, not waiting for an reply back from Channel. In the process, he turned his cell phone off and shoved it in his pocket. 'She really starting to annoy me at this moment. All you need J, is some sleep and you be much better', convincing himself as he got into his car and drove off. Back Home Chapter 3 |
