| Chapter 12 |
| "Ha ha ha ha, I think she should have hit you way harder with that door then you got," said Lonnie while geting out of the car. "Very funny," said Justin with heavy sarcasm. The whole ride back home Justin had told Lonnie about his little in counter with Amelia and Lonnie couldn't stop laughing and teasing him about it. Justin didn't get what was so funny about being knocked in the head with a door and a girl feeling really sorry about it. Justin had decided on the way to his house that he should throw a pool party for the weekend so Amelia could meet his friends. The guys had been bugging him about meeting her since they had spent hours together after they left the club. Walking into his house he was greeted with a big suprise. "Mom!, what are you doing here?. I thought you were still in LA," said Justin while putting down his shopping bags and hugging his mother. Laughing at her sons excitement she hugged her son."I came here to visit you and I'm done with bussiness in LA" " Where is Jon?" " Jon is with your father and he can't wait to see you when he come back up from Memphis" " Ok, I can't wait to see him too" "So what have you been up to or should I say, Who have you met lately?", smirked Lynn. Shocked, Justin looked at his mom and knew that one of the guys probably spilled the beans to his mother that he met a girl. " I met a girl and she is very sweet, funny, smart, kind hearted, athletic..." "Slow down there. I can tell you're very interested in her with the way you talk about her, but does she know what you do? and who you are?" Sighing,"No and no. So far I just want her to get to know me for Justin and not the famous Justin. My heart can't take being hurt again like the rest who only used me for me fame and status," said Justin. Looking up at her son, she couldn't help but feel that she couldn't help him as she looked into his sad blue eyes. She watched many times as her son got hurt by some of the women he dated and understood his reasons for not telling this girl. It hurt her to know that some people were so cruel and cold hearted and would go to such lengths to get want they want, even if it meant hurting another. Putting her hands on the side of Justins face, she looked up in his eyes and gave him the look he knew as 'I trust your decison'. "Just be careful, I don't want to see you get hurt. Your my baby and I love you," said Lynn. "I will and I know that you will like her. I had an idea about having an pool party and inviting her. You can meet her and judge for yourself," said Justin with a smile. "I think that is a great idea and I can't until I get to meet her," said Lynn. Amelia at her parents house.... "I am so glad you came by to visit us sweetheart," gushed Mrs. Jacobs as she and Amelia where sitting down for tea. "Mom you act like we never see eachother," said Amelia. "You're always so busy with school and work and I work so we never have time" "Well we're making time". "Have you met anybody lately?," Mrs. Jacobs. Amelia's smile had just dropped once her mother asked that question. She knew her mom would ask, but it was so early in the conversation. She had pepared herself and her answer for her mother to hear. "Yes, mother I have, but I would rather not talk about him or meeting him," said Amelia. Mrs. Jacobs looked a little skeptical at Amelia when she gave that answer, but let it drop for now. "Ok, I won't bug you about him, but you're going to have to tell me sometime. I would love to have him over for luch or dinner sometime. Oh, no you won't. You would never allow a white man in this house, thought Amelia as her mother made that comment. For now, her family was just going to have to wait and fine out about Justin and her feelings towards him. |
