| Heinrich HENRY Harms Born: 16 Jun 1830 in Ostfriesland, Germany Died: 13 Jan 1916 in Craig, MO Married Caroline Rossmiller, 1860 Parents of Harman Harms 1863-1944 Albert Harms, 23 Apr 1865 Talka Harms Thurman, 1870 Heie 'HYE' Harms-Coleman, 1871 (raised by his Mother's sister and brother-in-law, not in picture) Henry's Obituary: "Henry Harms was born in Ostfriesland, Germany, June 16, 1830, came to America in 1854 at age 24, worked as a farmhand in Illinois two years and in Nebraska one year. He settled in Missouri near Langdon several years then came to holt County and settled three miles northwest of Craig where he lived the rest of his life. He owned 200 acres of good bottom land...(Many inaccuracies omitted here)...The funeral was at the home preached by Rev. P.T. Schmidt. Internment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery near Corning."
