RURI broke up with her boyfrend in Missouri and went to his sister's house in Chicago.   This lady's name was Kelly, and had two sons.   The older one was 15 years old, named Jim, the other one was 12 years old.

In the ghetto, these two city boys talked and acted like regular adults.   These boys, especially Jim, started taking RURI out.   They walked around downtown, and she enjoyed being with these young guys.

One day, RURI met a man.   He was a very handsome guy, and seemed like a famous man around there....that RURI thought.   Since these  boys knew this guy, he visited Kelly's house one day.

He started to take RURI out.

He asked RURI if she wanted to go somewhere or to get something.   She didn't know how to react to his support because he had never try to let her spend any money like her ex-boyfriend.   Also she hadn't been used to asking someone to do something for her.

However, she asked him to take her to Lake Michigan.

The lake was huge.   RURI asked him, "Is this a lake?  Aren't we on a beach?"   He smiled and replied, "RURI, sure we are...and don't worry about anything.."   She walked toward the water and asked him if she could play with it.   He said nothing but nodded.

On their way back home, he stopped at some shops to get a new dress and dozens roses for her.

RURI started to feel to fall in love with this guy, not because he bought some things nor did many things for her.   He made her forget the terrible time that she spent the past.

She was so happy when she went out with this man.

Many girls on a street said, "Hi darling, Mr. Fly!" but RURI didn't have to be afraid of anything due to his special regard for her.

One night, Jim gazed at RURI with kind of jealous eyes and said, "RURI, you don't wanna go out with me anymore. That's OK. 'Cause Mr. Fly likes you lots. Well, get money from him and buy me Walkman & bunch of hamburgers."

RURI smiled at this shop-boy who waned to act like an adult.   "By the way, why does Mr. Fly always have money?"she asked Jim.   The boy replied, "Hey, I thought you knew...Mr. Fly is a PIMP, and I'm gonna be like him one day!"

PIMP was a new word to RURI.   She looked at a dictionary that was English to her own language, yet she couldn't get any defnition for it.   So, she asked Kelly.   Kelly explained to RURI about the situration of Mr. Fly.

She also asked RURI to get something just as her son requsted.   "You should be a rich girl,,,,Mr. Fly gives you anything,"  Kelly said with greedy smile and voice.

RURI didn't see why, but she cried that night.   Somehow, she thought that she was hearing the sound of a wine glass was smashed to bits.

Two days later, RURI left Chicago and headed south.
Story of  RURI
I Don't Want to Lose You
He is a very tall like a palm tree

When we talk, laugh, dance
I feel like I'm a little baby

He has short, black, and a bit curly hair
It fits on his most common diamond-shaped face

He has brown eyes, shaped like almond nuts
They are somewhat large

His vivid smile is very passionate
It makes me feel so good

I really like his smiling face,
his pure white teeth, his dimples on the cheeks

I like him watching me
I like him calling my name

i don't want to lose him
