The Gate of the Moon's Eyes

Distant bodies across a distant land
Sparked of fire and light by emotions so grand
Sight and touch are the embers of this Flame
Yes, the Flame, it dances and burns for the Game

But tell me quickly, who do I adore, what is her name?
If you refuse me, this unweary heart will be put to shame
I would run to you across burning sands
For that angelic embrace we share when holding hands

I say: Praise be to Our Lord who created such a face
Her smile is from the heavens, and is my road to that place
Those eyes, the windows of her soul, like two moons of gold
This gaze could shake mountains if she chose to be so bold

What of her gentleness, the summer wind after a hot day
Secret flowers blossom where she once tread, wanting her to stay
Even the air which fills her lungs give prayer by her voice
Music is her laugh, my heart beats wildly without a choice

With love, the two souls become entwined
With words and ceremony, the hearts are combined

Believe me when I say there is a forever
As long as you and I are together
