We titled her in 12 weeks.
She was a consistent in-group and in-show winner.
She retired at 7 years of age going out as Top Bitch in the Basset
Hound Club of Victoria's Point Score.
She was a real star and she always went around the ring as though she
owned it.

Charlie was the first bitch
to be awarded the BHCV's "Grand Champion Award" for
attaining 500 Challenge points.
Her wins that we loved the best are:
July 1989 - Runner up in Show
at Hound Club of Victoria's Champ. Show.
October 1991 - Runner up in
Show at Horsham Kennel Club's All Breeds Champ. Show.
April 1992 - Reserve bitch at
BHCNSW Champ. Show.

Charlie was
from our first litter and from the day she was born to the day she
died...she was mine.
Charlie and I were a great team for many years and she always amazed
me with her intelligence. She did really well at obedience and I only
had to show her something a couple of times and she always remembered
it.
She only had one litter and we nearly lost her...so that was the end
of that, no more litters for her.
She also did quite a bit of advertising work mainly Catalogues, Xmas
Cards, Calendars etc.
