Warrior's Quest: The Dragonball Chronicles 5
As Sakoo kept recounting the story, Zhen was listening intently, with ears wide open.
"Soon after Goku was sent to Earth, the planet Vegeta was destroyed by an evil warlord called Freeza.  He feared that one day a Super Saiyan would come and overthrow him, so he decided to destroy their whole race.  Some tried to stop him, including Goku's father, Bardock and their leader, King Vegeta, but both were killed in the process.  Supposedly only four Saiyans survived: Nappa, Goku and his big brother, Raditz, and King Vegeta's son, Prince Vegeta."
Sakoo continued on, telling him practically the whole Saiyan saga, starting when Raditz came, all the way to when Goku first turned Super Saiyan.  Other nights, Sakoo would tell him about the other enemies, like the androids, Cell, and Majin Buu, and finally how Goku went away with the Sheng Long to bring back the Earth from destruction.
Zhen was completely fascinated by these stories.  And ever since he heard them, that is what he trained for to become just as strong as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, or any of the Earth's Special Forces.  But it also made him wonder about something else: what about the other Saiyan babies sent to other planets?  When Raditz first came to Earth, he told Goku that they were two of the only four Saiyans to survive their planets destruction, and later when Vegeta came along with Nappa, he told him the same thing.
But later on they encountered two other Saiyans, Pegasus and his son, the legendary Super Saiyan, Brolly, which contradicted what they believed all along.  What if somehow, somewhere there still were living Saiyans?
Zhen always thought about this, and he made it his goal to someday find out the answer to this question.  But first, he would have to become like a Super Saiyan.
Back to the present, after they had their sparring session, Zhen and Sakoo returned to the campsite.  It was getting late.  They were getting ready to eat.
"You go right ahead, master," Zhen told Sakoo.  "I think I will train a little bit more."
"Very well, but don't be long," the old master responded.
Zhen went up the mountain were he usually trained.  It was his favorite place.  He wanted to improve his Shuurai, or Lightning Blast.  He was going to do his "Shoot and Get Hit" exercise, in which he would shoot a beam toward the sky and teleport in front of it and let himself get hit.  He got into his fighting stance; he placed his hand close to his chest, one palm over the other forming an "X".
     "SHUURAI!!" he yelled.
He shot a single lightning blast toward the sky and teleported in front of it, allowing himself to get hit.  He repeated this exercise over and over again, making the blast stronger each time.
It was already pretty late, so he decided it was enough for one day.  Zhen goes down to the hut and finds that Sakoo already called it a night.  He left Zhen some dinner by the campfire.
     "Ummm. Grilled Chicken."
Zhen ate his meal, and when he was done, he went to sleep.
