Warrior's Quest: The Dragonball Chronicles 23
Zhen and Monroe flew up in the air to meet up with Marron. She seemed eerily calm, which bothered Zhen a little bit. But he wasn't going to back down now.
"Last chance, boy," said Marron. "Are you sure you want to go on with this?"
"Oh, don't worry about me. I'm not only going to go on with this, but I'm going to beat you like a punching bag!"
Marron didn't respond. She just smiled. Zhen and Monroe got in a fighting stance. Marron just kept her arms crossed, looking uninterested. "Okay, if you are not going to make a move, then I will!" yelled Zhen. He charged forward. Monroe followed behind. Marron waited with her arms still crossed. Zhen threw a punch toward her face. Marron easily moved tilted her head to dodge the punch. Zhen pressed on his attacks with a flurry of punches and kicks. Marron just blocked the attacks. She was so quick! Zhen thought. I can't get a single punch in.
Monroe joined in. He attacked with a right round off kick. Without turning, Marron lifted her left hand to her head and blocked the kick. Zhen and Monroe continued their offense, but Marron was just to fast. She hit Monroe with her left elbow in his stomach, punched Zhen with the same hand, spun around, delivering a spin kick to Monroe, and then a kicked Zhen down to the ground.
"Dende, she is so strong and fast," Popo said. "How are they going to beat someone they can't touch."
"We must have faith in them, Popo," Dende responded. "They are our only hope."
Marron flew down to where Monroe was. Monroe spun around to deliver a spin kick of his own. Marron ducked and countered with a punch in the stomach, then finished with a knee to his face. Zhen jumped up to her to give a flying kick, only to receive a standing sidekick on his chest while still in the air. He dropped hard to the ground, moaning.
"You boys are not even a challenge to me," she said. "Time to finish this now."
She started charging up and aimed at Zhen. "NO!" Monroe yelled. Marron turned around. She saw the elf grabbing his arm, injured. "No you will not!"
"What do you think you're going to do?" she asked. "You can barely stand up."
Monroe didn't reply. He just started charging up. A glowing aura started to surround him. "AHHHHHHH!" he yelled. Veins were popping from him. Marron stared, waiting patiently.
"DODONPA!" he screamed. Out his index fingers he blasted out a great beam of yellow energy towards her. It hit her dead on, causing a great explosion. There was smoke everywhere. Monroe was breathing hard. It took everything he had in him.
"Yes!" Mr. Popo celebrated. "You defeated her!"
"Don't speak so soon," Dende said.
When the smoke cleared, Monroe only gasped. Marron stood there, unharmed. "Not bad. That almost tickled."
Monroe stood frozen. "This can't be," was all he could say. "I can't believe this."
"You better believe it. Now you know, you never stood a chance."
She then flew straight at him and uppercut him, sending him flying to the air, unconscious. Marron charged up. "DIE, FUCKER!"
She shot a powerful beam toward him. "NO! Yelled Popo. Dende also stared in fright. The beam was about to hit him when suddenly out of nowhere Zhen flew up and pulled his friend out of the beams way. The beam flew up into space.
Zhen landed on the ground and laid Monroe to the ground. As he turned, he was surprised by a punch on his face that sent him flying backwards. "This time I will not miss!" she swore. She blasted toward Zhen the same way she did to Monroe. This time the blast was intercepted by another beam. "WHAT THE FUCK!!" Marron yelled in frustration and anger.
She turned to where the blast came from and gasped in surprise. Rhea stood with her hands up, indicating she was the one who shot the blast.
"What are you thinking, girl?" Marron asked Rhea.
"I can't let you do this, Marron," Rhea replied. "It's wrong."
"I can't believe this," Marron said. "You've actually fallen for this boy, haven't you?" She looked toward Zhen, who was looking up now. "Well, see what I do to your boyfriend now!" She was ready to blast him again.
"AHHHHHHH!" Rhea yelled. She threw a combination of attacks at Marron. Marron caught one of the punches and countered with a knee to the stomach, and finished with an elbow to her back. She dropped to the ground.
"What a shame," Marron lamented. "What a shame." She then stomped Rhea.
"OWWWW!" Rhea screeched.
Marron turned to where Dende and Popo where. "Well, I'll be taking the Dragonballs now."
As she was picking up the seven Dragonballs, a blast was shot beside her that made her fly back. She dropped the Dragonballs to the ground. She went to reach for them again, but another blast was shot. This one was so strong it caused a small quake and sent one of the Dragonball down of the station and down the Earth.
"NOOOOO!" Marron yelled as she saw the Dragonball drop. "Who did that?" She turned to where the one who caused this to happen. She saw in the air a large green man with a white cloak and a weird looking hairpiece that wrapped his head. He looked like Dende, only older. He was also a Namek.
"Where do you think you taking those?" he said in a deep, strong voice.
"Piccolo, long time no see. Stay out of my way. I'm taking the Dragonballs with me."
"I can't let you do that, Marron," Piccolo said. "They don't belong to you."
"I'm taking them whether you like it or not."
"Over my dead body," said Piccolo.
"That can be arranged," she replied.
