| The Return of Raditz Part VI |
| The next day, Bulma and Linhe walked the grounds scouting for the perfect place. They came to a little niche in the woods that was still in walking distance to the main house, but set back enough so you could not see the houses from one or the other. �This is perfect.� Linhe said with excitement. Bulma clicked on the capsule button and threw it into the clearing. A house appeared in front of them. It was much bigger than what Linhe thought it would be. She was looking for something cozy and a lot smaller. She gave her friend a look like what have you done. �Oh don�t give me that look. I enjoyed designing this floor plan just for you.� Bulma giggled. They hugged each other in shear excitement. �Well let�s go in.� Bulma said with excitement. Linhe followed her in. They walked into a spacious and already furnished living room. On the other side were doors to what would be Linhe�s makeshift office and laboratory. She was in awe of her new home, and every new room just added to the amazement. �You could get lost in the kitchen� she chuckled at Bulma. �Oh yeah, wait till you see the master bedroom.� They both headed up stairs. The first room they came to was a good-sized room for guests, thought Linhe. They looked into the other two bedrooms before seeing the master suite. Linhe envisioned those rooms decorated with baby furnishing. Course those were the only rooms without anything in them. Linhe�s mouth gaped open as she took in the master suites openness. There was a balcony over looking Capsule Corps rolling pastures. The room was decorated wonderfully, very romantic she thought. They went into the bathroom where she saw a huge sunken tub, noting that her and Raditz would fit perfectly in there. She saw the separate shower that was also big enough for two people. With a tear in her eye she hugged her friend. �Oh stop that. Your gonna make me cry.� Bulma squealed. �I�m still going to miss you over at the house.� She said with a sad tone. �Bulma, your gonna have to beg me to leave. I will probably be over there more then in MY HOME!� She said with excitement. They left the house and started back towards Capsule Corp. �You know Vegeta hasn�t come to me since that weekend� Bulma said suddenly. Linhe looked at her friend and saw pain in her eyes. �He hasn�t even said anything to me. I hate not knowing what he is thinking. I�m so emotional right now and Kami.� Tears came flooding out of her eyes. Linhe grabbed Bulma�s shoulders and turned her towards her. �Listen Bulma. You know that Vegeta is not a sentimental type guy. He�s not going to suddenly change. Please trust me when I tell you that he, um, loves you more than you will ever know.� She hated that word love, for it was nothing compared to the true emotion in a Saiyans heart. But doing the best she can to comfort her hurting friend. �How do you know?� Bulma sniffed. Knowing about the mark, Linhe knew what she said was true, but could not tell her friend its true meaning. Nope that was for Vegeta to do. �Call it Saiyan intuition.� She smiled. �Bulma, please believe me. You�re a very strong and intelligent woman; you knew he is very independent and unable to show emotion. So be strong, and give him time. I also know that if you turned your back on him, he would go crazy. To him you are his life, and he will come to you sooner or later. We�ve been friends for a long time, and I hope that you would know me by now not to say things just to make you feel better. Honestly, if I felt any different I would not be telling you to fight for him.� Bulma dried her eyes, and smiled at her friend. She new Linhe would not patronize her, and what she said gave her strength and hope. �I guess it�s all of these crazy hormones running around.� She said with a laugh. �I�m sure you�ll find out soon.� Linhe looked at her like she was crazy. �Hey Bulma, I need you to hack in the University�s student database for me. I have to find Robbie and let him know that I�m ok.� She asked Bulma before reaching the house. Bulma looked at her, and was about to warn her against it but new that poor kid had to have closure. She nodded to Linhe, and headed downstairs to her computer. <><><><><> Bulma turned off her light and settled into bed when she felt as if someone was watching her. She reached over to turn the light back on when she heard him speak. �No. Don�t turn the light on.� Vegeta spoke quietly. Her eyes were still trying to get adjusted to the darkness as his form started to come into view. It helped that the moon was shining in through her double doors. �What? What are you doing Vegeta?� She asked trying to calm herself from the surprise visit. She suddenly felt his lips on hers, and he slowly sank into bed with her. Her strength and hope was getting stronger as she clung to him for dear life. She sensed that he was being extra gentle with her tonight, while normally they made love wildly and urgently. Tonight was so different. He rested his head on her stomach, and allowed her to stroke his hair. �Are you alright woman?� He asked with a hidden message. Understanding what he really meant, she smiled sweetly and replied �Yes Vegeta, we�re doing fine.� She knew that when she woke the next day that he would be gone back to training, and she sighed, but he was hers for right now. They fell asleep together for the first time since that weekend a month ago. <><><><><> The next day, Linhe got out of bed got dressed, and before leaving she kissed her mate. He stirred under her kiss, and opened his eyes. �Hey where are you going? This bed is so cold without you.� And he grabbed her hand trying to pull her into bed with him. �Well silly I thought I would go and get you some real clothes. I can�t have you wearing that uniform all the time now can I?� She giggled at him. She felt bad for not telling him that she was also going to find Robbie. �Is this a good idea?� She wondered, then remembering that kiss and the look in his eyes, she knew it was the right thing to do. She kissed him again and swiftly left the room. Before she could leave the house Bulma grabbed her arm. �Hey, how about I drive you? I want to do some shopping anyway.� Bulma asked. Just as she thought, Vegeta had left her room before she woke, and she didn�t really want to be alone right now. �Sure then you can help me buy some clothes for Raditz.� Knowing her friend would love the challenge in that little project. <><><><><> They got into the car and headed off to Gingertown. �Let�s shop first then I will go find Robbie.� She told Bulma. She had to prepare herself for that task. She was not looking forward to it either. They finished shopping, and piled the bags in the car. Bulma had bought a bunch of maternity outfits, and Linhe bought a few different outfits for Raditz. Robbie�s apartment was not too far from where they were. �Well I guess I will go and get this over with.� She sighed to Bulma. �I want you to stay in the car, and lock the door.� Remembering being jumped not too far from where they were. She shuddered at the thought of someone hurting Bulma. Bulma understood and did as she was asked. Linhe walked towards his apartment and took a deep breath before ascending the stairs. Hearing a knock at the door Robbie answered it. He looked at Linhe and his face widened with surprise. �Linhe, I�ve been worried sick about you. Come in please.� Before she could say anything he grabbed her hand and led her into his small but clean apartment. They sat on the sofa and he just couldn�t believe that she was here. She saw the look in his eyes and new it wasn�t going to be easy. �Look Robbie, I came to talk to you about something.� He saw the sadness in her eyes. �I�m sorry for that night, and I�m really sorry for misleading you. We are two totally different people. So different that�� �So Linhe, you know opposites attract. Besides we�re not that different. We both have a passion for science, and we love moonlit walks. How different can we be?� He was hurting at her words. He knew she came to bid him farewell, and it was killing him. �Is it because you�re a princess?� His words took her back. She looked at him nervously. �Oh Kami, how am I going to get out of this one?� �No it�s not because of that. It�s because I�m in� love (she groaned at the usage of this word, but that�s the only one humans can understand)� with someone else. I�m so, so sorry Robbie, I never meant�� She decided anymore and it would be the death of him. �I have to go now.� She stood up to leave, and quickly left without looking back. He felt as if someone had taken a sledgehammer to his stomach. Oh how he was so in love with this woman. It will take a long time to get over her. He sighed. <><><><><> Linhe didn�t speak the entire way home. Bulma knew that it was not a good time to talk about anything, much less what happened. <><><><><> A couple of days later, Linhe and Raditz moved into their new home. They barely got the door shut behind them when they started ripping off each other�s clothes. Picking her up she wrapped her legs around his waist and he softly pushed her up against the wall. They made love with the utmost urgency, not wanting it to end. After the orgasm, they slowly slid to the floor only to make love much more gently and passionately. <><><><><> They invited their friends over for a small party. The morning before the party Linhe woke up feeling very strange. She sensed not one but two weak Ki�s close to her. No more like IN HER, she realized. Raditz sat straight up in bed sensing the Ki�s as well, thinking it was an intruder heading their way. He looked at his mate who was rubbing her stomach. �Do you feel that,� he whispered. Then he quieted and really looked at his mate. His eyes widened with shock. He jumped out of bed and stood over Linhe. �Are you�is that�are we?� He couldn�t finish his thoughts, but she confirmed his questions with a nod. �Is it me Raditz or are you sensing two distinct Ki�s?� She asked in disbelief. He strained his head as if listening to something. �Oh yeah. I feel two.� He suddenly realized what that meant. They were going to have two babies. He felt a little queasy all of sudden. (Huh I wonder why). <><><><><> Raditz left Linhe to get back to training. Linhe started preparing food for the heavy eaters that were coming tomorrow. The doorbell rang, and Linhe yelled for Bulma to come in. She heard the door open and close. �Hey Bulma, I�m in the kitchen. Come on in�. She could not wait to tell her friend the good news. There was no reply, so she walked out of the kitchen to see where she was. She heard the toilet flush, and saw Bulma coming out of the bathroom. �Argh, sorry Linhe. Morning sickness has been a killer.� She held her hand to her mouth as she felt another wave of nausea. It passed and she went to the kitchen with Linhe. �You poor thing here let me get you something.� Linhe fixed Bulma a glass of ginger ale, and set some crackers down in front of her. She went back to fixing the food. �Now you sit right there, and keep me company.� �My you�re awfully chipper. I hate chipper.� Still feeling a little sick. Linhe just laughed knowing that her poor friend was miserable. �Well.� Linhe squealed with excitement. �Well? Well what? What�s up with you Linhe? You�re up to something I know it.� With her back turned to Bulma, she blurted it out: �I�M PREGNANT BULMA�. She didn�t hear anything from behind her, so she turned around to see Bulma had thrown her hands over her mouth. �AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!� She screamed so loudly that Vegeta had heard her. He stepped out of the gravity room to see what made that woman scream. Not sensing anything wrong he decided he�d better go check it out anyway. He flew over to the princess�s door. �I can�t believe it. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE� she screamed again, and Vegeta threw open the door and ran into the kitchen. He saw the girls dancing around hugging each other. �What the hell is wrong with you bakas?� he growled. They stopped and looked at him, then burst out laughing. �You two are�� He stopped and cocked his head to the side. He felt the Ki in Bulma, but then he felt two more and he looked at the princess in understanding. �Ugh� he said in disgust and he left them there alone once again. As he flew out he saw Raditz sparring by himself, and he flew over to him. Slapping Raditz on the back, he smirked �better you then me buddy.� He took off to the gravity room. Raditz rolled his eyes, and went back to training. �You know we haven�t seen the others for sometime, won�t they be shocked� Bulma chuckled. �Hey Bulma. Let�s not tell them. Let them figure it out. You wanna place bets on who will be the last to figure it out?� She grinned mischievously. �Oh you�re bad. Sure! I�ve got dibs on Goku being the last.� They laughed. <><><><><> Goku, Gohan, and Chi-Chi were the first to arrive, and Linhe welcomed them into her home. �Where�s Piccolo?� She asked. �Oh you know he�s not the sociable type.� Gohan answered. Gohan was the first to sense something, but he couldn�t figure it out completely. Before he could say anything the doorbell rang. It was Bulma�s parents, and Bulma dragging the not too happy Vegeta. Vegeta saw Goku and he knew a way out of this miserable event. �Hey Kakarrot, wanna spar?� �Sure be right there.� Said Goku, never turning down a good fight. Yamcha and Krillin arrived bringing Master Roshi and Oolong. Bulma was the first to see them and she rolled her eyes. �Watch it Linhe, the bald guy with the sunglasses and his sidekick the pork chop are perverts. If you turn your back on them they will cop a feel.� Bulma warned. Raditz was behind her, and he gave a throaty growl. Bulma jumped not realizing he was there. Linhe turned around and hugged her mate before heading off into the kitchen. Roshi and Oolong saw the beautiful buxom dark haired vixen walk into the kitchen, and they slowly made their way to introduce themselves. Their plan was foiled when they saw that Bulma and Chi-Chi were with her. Bulma told Chi-Chi of their news. Chi-Chi congratulated them both. They also told her about seeing if the guys would notice. She chuckled at the bet they made. The girls brought out the food, so the guys could fill up. They could barely get it on the table when the Z team jumped to the table and started piling the food on their plates. Vegeta grabbed the plate that Bulma had fixed for him, and he walked off to eat alone as he always does. Throughout dinner none of them noticed, and the girls passed glances at one another shaking their heads. As the guys started to slow down, that�s when they started sensing something. Gohan, remembering that he�d sensed something before sensed it again and he raised his head from his plate. �Does anyone else sense that strange power?� He asked to no one in particular. Chi-Chi beamed for she had guessed that her son would be the first to notice it. Bulma and Linhe quietly snickered. Krillin was the next one to notice, �Yeah it�s very faint, but there is definitely two or three of them.� This was alarming to them, for they couldn�t tell where it was coming from, whom it belonged to, and more importantly if it was good or not. Yamcha, Krillin, and Gohan jumped up from the table crouching into a fighting stance. This threw the girls into a fit of laughter. Everyone looked at them with scowls on their faces. Goku was not paying attention for he was still shoveling food down his throat at an alarming pace. Vegeta walked up behind the guys, totally annoyed at the whole thing and snarled, �You�re sensing unborn brats, you bunch of morons.� He flew off, heading back to his gravity room, figuring that he graced them with his presence long enough. �Who�s pregnant?� shouted Goku. Chi-Chi shook her head lovingly at her husband. �I won!� shouted Bulma. This threw the girls into another laughing fit. They started cleaning up the area, and this time Roshi got Linhe alone in the kitchen. �My,� he said, �I haven�t even been properly introduced to such a beautiful creature such as yourself. I�m Roshi, and this is my friend Oolong.� �Thank you, and my name is Linhe. It�s nice to meet you Roshi and Oolong.� Roshi cheerily dropped something to make the princess pick it up. As she bent over they peered down her shirt, sneaking a peek. As they raised their heads up, they saw Raditz standing behind her with an evil scowl on his face. �Well it�s been fun, but we need to head back home. It was nice meeting you Linhe.� They took off before Raditz could tear them apart. He snorted, kissed his mate, and walked out to talk to Goku before he left. <><><><><> Lying in bed 6 months pregnant, Linhe grabbed Raditz�s hand and put it to her swollen belly. �Do you feel that? I think they�re sparring in the there,� She laughed. Then she grimaced as one of them kicked her in the ribs. �Doesn�t that hurt?� He asked with concern. �Only when they kick the ribs.� She said, still feeling the kick. It was getting harder for her to get around; she mainly did work from her home. Bulma was having a horrible time with the half-Saiyan child and Linhe felt so sorry for her friend. �I feel bad for Bulma. I could never image being a human and carry a half-Saiyan child.� She grimaced at the thought. <><><><><> Bulma was on bed rest for her last trimester. Which was fine with her, because it wasn�t like she could get around easily. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Vegeta pass by her room. �I hate you Vegeta!� she screamed. She was in a horrible mood, from the child moving around all the time. A smirk appeared on his face and he backed up to the entrance of her doorway. �Damn woman you�re huge. And I hate you too.� He walked away before the pillow that she threw could hit him. �ARGH! You bastard.� She shouted after him. �Oh by the way Vegeta� I heard that Goku reached a new power level.� She lied; she just wanted to get back at him for the fat remark. He let out loud growl, but kept going. <><><><><> At Bulma�s request, both Linhe and Raditz moved back into the main house temporarily, just incase, since Vegeta was unreliable and seemed to have disappeared a few weeks before her due date. After checking both women, separately of course, the doctor gave them both a clean bill of health. �Well Bulma, it looks like you�re going to deliver in a few days. You�re already 2 centimeters dilated.� He said smiling. Then gave her some instructions and left. Raditz was itching to go out and train, but did not dare leave the two women alone. He cursed Vegeta under his breath. Even though he was annoyed he never let the girls know, for he knew they would feel guilty and try to kick him out. Instead he catered to every craving, back scratch, muscle massage, and anything else they could throw at him. <><><><><> �Um, Raditz?� Bulma yelled. He ran into Bulma�s room, knowing something was wrong. �It�s time.� She said grimacing from the contractions she suddenly started feeling. �My water broke.� He picked her up and rushed her to the air car. �But Raditz you don�t know how to drive.� She said through clenched teeth. �I know, so Linhe will have to drive. She�s still a month away. It shouldn�t be to hard for her.� At the mention of her name, she came through the open door holding her stomach. �AAAAAHHHH. They�re coming.� Linhe screamed. Raditz looked around as if she meant visitors. �No stupid. The babies. I�m going to deliver NOWWWWW.� She screamed at him. �But you can�t be. You still have a month left.� He whimpered. �Yeah well tell that to themmmmmmmm.� She moaned. Raditz was freaked. What was he going to do now? �I�m gonna have to beat the shit out of Vegeta for this,� he thought. He saw a car approach and recognized the driver and passengers. He ran over to his mate leaving poor Bulma leaning up against the air car. He picked Linhe up, rushed her over to the approaching Chi-Chi, and put her in the backseat before Chi-Chi could turn the car off. Then he ran back over to Bulma, and put her into the backseat next to Linhe. Gohan hopped in front and sat on his dad�s lap to make room for the three. �Thank Kami you came when you did. They�re in labor and I can�t drive.� Raditz said panting. Bulma and Linhe were screaming in unison during the contractions. Chi-Chi took off going as fast as the car could go. Raditz, Goku, and Gohan covered their sensitive ears, wincing in pain at the screaming women. <><><><><> A couple of days later the women were back home with their newborns. Chi-Chi stayed with Bulma and Trunks, incase they needed anything. Linhe and Raditz went to there own home with their two sons Toma and Akira. �Is there anything I can get you� Raditz asked as he helped his mate with the children. �As a matter of fact, you can.� She looked at him dreamily �A little girl perhaps?� He grinned at her, and lay down with her and their two children. <><><><><> Bulma woke up in the middle of the night to check on Trunks. When she opened her eyes she saw a silhouette standing in the balcony�s doorway. She recognized him, and he was holding her baby. She was about to speak, but thought it would be best not to ruin this moment. She smiled and fell back to sleep. |
