| She woke up and left the warmth of his arms. She wanted to make sure Oterro would not be late for work. She saw that he had two hours, and she smiled knowing they had plenty of time. She woke him with tender kisses to his chest where the scar was going to form. He moaned with the pleasure that was welling up inside him. <><><><><> �I love you Oterro-chan.� She said as he drove them to Capsule Corp. She wanted to see her mom before going over to bug Bra. �Ms. Raditz, your daughter is here.� A strange voice said over the loud speaker. She smiled and went through the process before exiting the lab. Zelena found no one in the outer room of the lab, so she disguised her voice as she paged her mom. When Linhe came out she laughed knowing what her daughter had done. �What are you doing here. Have you missed me already?� Linhe said as she shoved her hands in the lab coat pockets. Zelena wanted her mother and father to be the first to know, and she pulled her shirt down to reveal the mark. Linhe�s mouth dropped, eyes widened, and she threw her hands up to her mouth. She squealed with happiness and ran to her daughter. They embraced for a long time when Akira came out of the lab. He saw his sister and his eyes widened. �Zelena-chan� He said as he picked up his sister and swung her around in the air. �I haven�t seen you since you graduated. What have you�� He stopped when he noticed how different she looked. �Wait, your not my little bratty sister. Where�s the real Zelena.� He teased. He had just moved home for the summer since med school had let out for the semester. The three sat down on some scattered chairs and talked. He saw that the two needed some more time together so he disappeared back into the lab. Linhe turned her attention back to her daughter. �So what do you think?� Zelena asked excitedly. �I think that I haven�t lost my daughter. Instead I�ve gained another son. My family is growing as it should.� She hugged her daughter again. �Your father will be pleased. I promise Zelena.� Zelena nodded, said her good-byes, and left the office. She floated on clouds as she went through the hallways. When she got to the front desk she saw Brenda and her breath got caught in her throat. Brenda looked up from the security guards desk and saw Zelena. Zelena decided to just ignore her and started walking for the doors. �You bitch.� Hissed Brenda. As Zelena passed, Brenda grabbed the long black hair and yanked. Zelena�s Ki flared dangerously as she whipped around. The security guards jumped up from behind the desk attempting to apprehend Brenda. Trunks and Oterro were in a meeting when they felt the powerful source nearby. They ran out of the office and down to the lobby. They saw the yellow haired Saiyan holding Brenda off the ground by her collar. �Zelena no!� Trunks yelled. Not taking her eyes off of Brenda, Zelena threw her across the lobby and powered down. Brenda went sliding into a wall opposite of everyone. �What are you doing here Brenda?� Trunks demanded. Then he turned to the security guards �Why didn�t you escort her off the property?� Their eyes dropped as they were being scolded. �That woman is to be immediately removed if she ever comes on these grounds again. Or you can kiss your jobs good-bye. Is that understood?� They nodded as they went to the semi-conscious women, and picked her up by the arms to drag her out of the building. Oterro ran over to Zelena to calm her down. She was shaking with fury at that woman touching her. Trunks came over to make sure she was alright. �I�m so sorry Trunks. I tried to avoid her, but she put her nasty hands on me, and I�� She shivered remembering the touch. �You have nothing to apologize for Zelena.� He smiled at her. �Oterro go on and take her home.� They walked out of the building to his car. �I�m alright Oterro. I still want to go visit Bra. Okay?� �Are you sure? I think you ought to go home.� He urged. �I definitely don�t want to be alone right now. So I�m sure. Pick me up after work okay?� He nodded and watched her fly up into the air. He walked back in to return to the meeting. <><><><><> She went into the house, and headed for the stairs knowing Bra was still sleeping for it was still early. She quietly opened the door to Bra�s room. She saw Marron in the other bed and knew she had spent the night. Zelena quietly approached the sleeping Bra and pounced on the bed to wake her sleeping cousin. Bra was startled out of sleep and she powered up thinking it was threat that woke her. Vegeta burst through the door when he felt his daughters Ki flare. He saw Zelena jumping on the bed and he let out a throaty growl. �What the hell are you doing br�� He stopped and really looked at Zelena. �Uck.� Was all he said and he left the room. �Zelena what are you doing here?� Bra said excitedly. Marron started to wake up from all of the racket and she saw her friend jumping on the bed. Then Zelena jumped over to Marron�s bed and started jumping up and down on that one. �Will you stop that?� Marron shouted. Zelena plopped down to a sitting position on the bed and beamed brightly. �Kami, it happened.� Bra said as she jumped up from her bed. �Oh I want details. Every last drop.� �First I want something to eat. I�m starved. Then I want to hang out at the pool.� Zelena instructed. The girls followed her down to the kitchen, and they cooked a huge breakfast. Vegeta smelled the food and flew downstairs to the kitchen. �Good morning father.� Bra chirped. He only moaned in response and waited impatiently for his share of the food. Bra fixed him a huge plate of sausage, eggs, and bacon. He left the room to eat in peace. �I see things haven�t changed with him. How is he handling the engagement?� Zelena asked. Bra told her about Goten asking for her hand, and Vegeta�s response. The girls roared in laughter. �But then he gave Goten his blessing. Can you believe it? He hasn�t picked on Goten since.� They ate breakfast then cleaned up. �Hey I don�t have my bathing suit.� Zelena said as they went to change. �I�d let you use one of mine, but I know they won�t fit for my bust size is 20 times smaller than yours.� Bra said enviously. �Alright, I�ll be right back.� She flew out of the house and headed towards her old one. She ran into her room and changed into her bathing suit. There was a knock at her door, and she quickly covered herself with a t-shirt. �Come in.� she said knowing it was her father. Her face brightened and she lunged into his arms. For a moment he saw his little girl, and he hugged her back fiercely. �Your mother called and told me the news.� He said proudly. �I�m very proud of you Zelena. You chose a good mate.� �Thank you father.� She gave him a kiss, and he reluctantly let her go. Then he left the room before she did. She flew back to Bra�s house where the girls were already lounging by the pool. She took off her t-shirt so the sun could do its work. Bra and Marron gasped when they saw the mark. Zelena looked at them sheepishly. �Alright, we�ve done what you asked. Now spill it, and I mean don�t leave out a single moment.� She told them about the first time and how gentle he was, and they too shared their first experiences. They all talked about how the guys were so gentle and tender. �Yeah I thought Toma was going to throw up. He felt so bad at the pain that I went through it made him sick.� The girls roared at that. �Course now. It�s heaven.� She sighed and they all nodded in agreement. �So when are you and Toma going to bridge the gap?� Zelena asked. �Never if my father has anything to do with it.� She said sourly. �Actually it has been a hot topic with us for a while. I think Toma is anxious, but I�m the one dragging my feet as always.� �Bra, have you started making wedding arrangements? Wait, have you even picked out a date?� Zelena asked. �Yes we have, it�s going to be over the winter break. You know I have no say in the arrangements. Poor Chi-Chi has been desperately trying to help, but you know my mother.� They laughed. �We want it back at the resort. You know what the president of the resort told my mom?� They waited. �He�s renovating the lodge. Can you believe it. He schmoozes my mom like no tomorrow. Anyway the resort will be closed off to visitors until after the wedding weekend.� She beamed. �Kami, that is awesome.� Zelena said in awe. �Well tell us when you and Oterro are going to get married.� Bra said. �We haven�t discussed it recently, since�you know. But if it�s the original timeframe it won�t be for another two years. It doesn�t really matter to me, I got what I wanted.� She beamed. �Hey what happened after I left the party you guys?� She saw the glance that passed between Bra and Marron, and knew something happened. �Oh don�t think I didn�t notice that look. So spill it.� �Zelena it was bad. That freaky women, Brenda�� Bra stopped when she saw Zelena shiver at the name. �� came back. She was drunk, and she started howling for Oterro, and screaming how she was going to kill him and you.� They all shivered at that. �It was horrible.� Marron added. �Toma and Goten�um� escorted, shall we say, her off the property. The entire senior class was stunned, as we all were. It was embarrassing.� Bra said. �But then the music started back up and everyone started to get back into the mood. As a matter of fact there were quite a few drunks that were left over the morning after. Mom had a caterer feed the left over people breakfast. So other than that little incident it went rather remarkable. Father never came out of the house to yell at us. Not once.� She was proud of that fact. She looked at Zelena, and saw that wasn�t listening to word she said. �What�s up Zelena?� �I loathe that thing, you know, Brenda.� She hissed through clenched teeth. She told her friends what happened that morning. �Man that woman has issues, big time.� Bra said in disbelief. �How did this all start? I mean what did you ever do to her?� �It started the first time she saw me. I didn�t do shit to her. She�s crazy, and gross.� Zelena had a bad feeling and decided to share it with her friends. �I�m not afraid for myself, but I am worried that she will get Oterro. I know he could over power her easily, but not if she sneaks up on him. She�s whacked, and desperate. That�s a dangerous combination.� She thought about something happening to her newly made mate, and she started to tremble with rage. �I want to kill her. Trunks was able to stop me this time, but next time she won�t be so lucky. Argh. Let me get off this subject before I decide to go find her and rip her eyes out.� They continued to chat about the party, and Bra repeated what happened after the scene. <><><><><> It was almost time for him to get off work, so she decided to fly back over and wait for him. She leaned against the car, and waited for five minutes when he finally emerged through the doors. He smiled when he saw her and he quickened his pace. She met him half way and jumped into his arms. He carried her back to the car as she wrapped her legs around his waist and kissed him deeply. �How was the rest of your day?� He asked as he sped home wanting to get there fast. �Miserable without you. So did you talk to Trunks?� She asked anxiously. �Yep. And Yep.� He winced as she squealed in delight. �He thought it was a wonderful idea, after I convinced him that we will maintain ourselves.� He smirked at her. �After the meeting he arranged to have that entire office redone. As a matter of fact they are probably still working. So you sure you want to do this?� �Are you kidding? I have to do something to keep busy. Lounging by the pool with Bra and Marron was fun, but I can see that it would get old quick.� She told him about Bra�s wedding plans, and whatever else they chitchatted about including the Brenda story. �I thought you were going to kill her today.� He said grinning at the thought. �I don�t want to talk about her anymore. She makes me sick.� He agreed and they changed the subject. �Speaking of wedding plans� I know you wanted to wait at least two years. Is that still your decision. You know I am now perfectly happy, for we sealed our relationship my way and I am willing to do it your way whenever you want.� He hadn�t thought about it, because to him it already felt like they were married. But he did want a small traditional ceremony. �I don�t know right now. Can I get back to you on that?� He smiled at her. <><><><><> They made it home and she hopped out of the car and stretched. She had been longing for him all day, and it turned into an ache when they finally arrived. She dragged him into the house as fast as she could. They threw their clothes off and jumped into bed. Their lovemaking was urgent and rough. They desperately needed each other. When they finished, they made love a second time only to be much more gentle and slow. �I need a kiss.� She informed. He smiled at her and obliged. It felt just like their first kiss. She fell asleep in his arms. �No� no� no, NO, NO,NOOOOOO! OTERRRRRRROOOOOOOOO.� She screamed in her sleep. Oterro was desperately trying to wake her up. She started crying in hysterics, and he still couldn�t get her to wake up. �ZELENA!� He shouted. He shook her frantically. Her eyes opened wide with fright, and she was panting in between sobs. She focused and saw that she was sitting up and he had her by her shoulders with wide eyes. The sheets were soaked and he peeled the plastered hair from her moist face. She remembered her dream and tears came pouring out, he pulled her to him and held her tightly. �I need to... sniff...do it...she... can�t... she... you...� �Zelena calm down your not making any sense. I can�t understand you.� He held her as sobs racked through her. She drew in a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. This helped to calm her and she tried again �Oterro, I know she�s up to no good. I feel it in my heart that she is going to carry out her threat.� �Zelena, she had a taste of your power, I seriously doubt she would try anything with you.� Zelena frantically shook her head in disagreement. �I�m not worried for myself, I think she�s going to try and kill you. She said if she can�t have you then nobody will. The way to get back at me is to hurt you. She�s crazy, and very dangerous.� He saw her point. �Well what do you propose to do Zelena? You can�t just kill her.� �Why not!� she demanded. He leaned back from the scorn. �I�m sorry, I didn�t mean to shout.� He helped her off of the bed and guided her to the shower, for he knew that is what she did after a nightmare. He held her tightly as the water beat down on them. �I will die, if something ever happened to you.� She quietly sobbed in his chest. He felt the shudders run through her and he sighed. He just didn�t know what to do, he felt helpless, and angry. He dried her off, then himself. They returned to bed and allowed sleep to take them once more. <><><><><> The next morning she barely spoke as she remembered the dream so vividly. They reached CC, and walked in together. She had on a suit that was almost identical to his, except she wore a skirt instead of pants. They walked hand in hand up to the office. It had been redone. New desk, chair, computer, phone, and all the other pieces of equipment that a secretary would need. He kissed her then went into his office, as he prepared to go through his organizer to see what he had to do today. He had a few minutes before the weekly meeting with the computer department staff. So he showed her the routines of the office and she jotted down notes as he gave her instructions. He noticed that she wasn�t her normal bubbly self and it tore at his heart. Trunks popped his head in to see how things were going. He saw the sadness in her eyes, but Oterro managed to greet him better then Zelena. Trunks walked into Oterro�s office and closed the door. �So what�s going on? Why the quietness from her?� �She�s still a little upset about Brenda. She�s convinced that Brenda is going to hurt me. I just don�t know what I�m going to do. She�s had a nightmare again last night, and I fear that this is going to be the norm again.� �Should she be here then?� �I didn�t even ask. I get the feeling that she feels the need to be with me at all times, and if it helps then so be it.� He looked at his watch and saw that it was time for his meeting. �I�ve got a meeting in five minutes, so I�ll talk to you later?� Trunks nodded, and they left the office. �Zelena, I�ve got a meeting that will run for about an hour. Why don�t you get familiar with my planner. It�s on my desk.� She nodded and gave him a halfhearted smile. He closed the door behind him and she decided to look at his planner. She opened it at the beginning of the year to the date that he started. Went through it page by page, at times she would see some cute little note that he had made pertaining to doing something with her and she smiled. She flipped to future dates and in the last month she saw the words written in black ` I love you Oterro`. She new who did it and she felt the fury well up inside her. She ripped the page out crumpled it up, and threw it in the trashcan. She decided to go through his desk to see if she left her calling card somewhere else. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary she shut the doors and left his office. She sat down at her desk when she heard the door open. Her mom and Bulma ushered in with smiles on their faces. �Hi mom, hi Aunt Bulma.� She said in a monotone voice. They looked at her knowing that she was miserable. �Bra told me about the wedding arrangements. It�s going to be the best wedding in history.� She said not wanting to talk about what�s going on. �Bra chose it, and I get to plan everything else.� She said excitedly. �I heard a congratulations are in order for you.� She said referring to the mark. Zelena smiled at her. �Thank you. I couldn�t be happier.� Somehow that didn�t sound convincing. �Well I have a mound of paperwork to go through. So I will talk to you later.� She left and closed the door behind her. She saw the look in her mother�s eyes and knew what she was going to say. �Mom, please I don�t want to talk about it. There is nothing that can be done so I just have deal with it.� �Zelena. I won�t push you, but you know we are here for you.� She walked over and gave her daughter a kiss on her forehead and quickly left the room. She looked through her purse and found a picture of her and Oterro hugging each other at the formal they went to six months ago. She sighed and ran her finger over his face. She put it in her drawer so she could look at any time. She noticed that he had the same picture on his desk only it was enlarged and she smiled. As the day progressed, her mood lifted. He was in his office busy typing away, every now and then he would come out and give her something to type or file. The phone never rang, and no one ever came in. She finished the tasks that he had given her and she decided to go in and watch him work. He smiled as she sat behind him watching what he was doing. Every once in a while they would whisper an endearment back and forth to each other. He turned around and stood up to give her a kiss. �I can get used to this� he said. �Yeah well keep that up and I may have to throw you down and take you right here and now.� �Now you�re talking.� He kissed her again and sat back down. She left his office and sat down at her desk. It was almost time for them to leave for the day and the phone rang. �Capsule Corporation.� She said as she answered the phone. �I want to talk to Oterro.� The person on the other end said gruffly. Zelena had no clue who this was. �May I tell him who�s calling?� �No.� Zelena put the caller on hold and walked into Oterro�s office. �Line 1 Oterro-chan. The caller would not give her name.� She stopped frozen knowing exactly who it was. He saw the look on her face then looked at the phone and he moaned. �This is Oterro.� �Hey sexy, so who�s the new replacement?� His face turned red. �Brenda, don�t do this. You�re sick and you need help. You don�t know who your dealing with, so I suggest you leave us alone.� He growled. �Don�t threaten me Oterro, or I will slice up that little slut who hangs around you.� She snarled back. �I have a little surprise for you. You should be receiving it soon.� She hung up the phone. Zelena didn�t even want to know. She walked back into her office and started closing up for the evening. She waited for Oterro and they left the office. They drove home in silence. The call was still affecting them. They pulled up and he turned off the car. �I love you Zelena.� �I love you too Oterro.� They got out of the car. He went ahead of her and she stopped. She sensed something was not right. He was about to put the key in the door when she yelled. �OTERRO STOP.� She screamed. Too late he had gotten the key in and opened the door when the explosion erupted. A sharp object flew at her and impaled her chest. Oterro was thrown back and landed against a tree killing him on impact. She was still conscious when she saw his limp body wrapped around the tree. A tear fell as she slipped into un-consciousness. <><><><><> Raditz and Linhe jolted out of bed. Akira and Toma rushed in. �Mom, dad. It�s Zelena isn�t it?� Toma whispered. All four of them flew out of the house and headed towards the fading Ki. Linhe ran to her daughter and checked her vitals. �She�s still alive, but fading fast. Raditz you�re the fastest. Take her to Bulma for the regen tank. Toma we need senzu beans.� She ordered. She watched her mate fly away with Zelena, and her heart broke. She looked over and saw Akira carrying a limp body. �He�s dead mom.� Goku landed beside Linhe and looked at Oterro�s lifeless body in Akira�s arms. He shook his head in disbelief. Goten and Gohan landed at the same time Vegeta, Bra, and Trunks did. They all saw Oterro. �Who did this?� Whispered Gohan. Linhe started shaking with rage and she powered up. Her black hair turning yellow, and her black eyes changed to jade. She flew off into the night searching for the culprit. �She�s going to kill her.� Trunks said without much emotion. �Who?� Asked Goku. �Who is she going to kill? <><><><><> �Bulma please hurry.� Raditz pleaded. He felt his mate take to the sky and he knew what she was going to do. He wasn�t going to stop her either. The tank finished filling and he gently set her inside. Bulma worked the monitors till they gave her readings. Raditz sat on the floor and watched over his daughter until Bulma would give him a prognoses. <><><><><> The group headed back to Capsule Corp., with Oterro. Raditz rushed out of the regen room and saw who Akira was holding. He couldn�t believe it. He new that his daughter would literally die if she knew he was gone. For he knew that feeling all to well. �Kakarrot. Vegeta. I need your help. We don�t have much time either.� Raditz begged. |
