| Gundam Cross Part IIII | ||||||||
| She awoke to find his head on her chest. He was breathing lightly and she knew he was still sleeping. She closed her eyes, smiled, and stroked his hair gently. They both bolted up right when someone knocked fiercely on his door. �Duo,� the voice on the other side called. He jumped out of bed and pulled on his pants, he had his hand on the door than looked to see if Marron was covered. She smiled at him, and he opened the door. �What Heero?� He growled. �It�s happening. Dekim is coming with hundreds of mobile dolls. We�ve got to go.� He said hurriedly. He saw Duo look back into his room, and added, �Relena will be leaving for the palace with Marron. They will be safe. 5 minutes buddy.� He left. Marron jumped out of the bed still wrapped in the blanket, and he saw the worry in her eyes. �I�ve got to go Marron. You will be traveling with Relena to the palace.� �Let me help Duo. I can destroy these things�� She knew it was useless; he was shaking his head no. �But�.� �You can�t Marron. No one outside of our group must ever know what you�re capable of. Ugh the ramifications could be astronomical. I couldn�t even fathom. You will go with Relena and you will be out of view as much as possible. I can�t risk losing you, I finally have a purpose to end this madness.� He said soothingly. There was another knock on the door and he watched Marron turn in disgust. �Here give these to Marron. We will be leaving in 2 minutes. She needs to hurry.� Relena whispered, and handed him some clothes. He nodded and shut the door. �Now Marron.� He said sternly. That�s the way he had to be with her, she was stubborn and he loved it but not right now. He handed her the clothes and watched her get dress. She went to leave and he grabbed her arm. �I love you Marron.� And he kissed her passionately then followed her out the door, and escorted her to the awaiting truck. �Just come back to me.� She whispered and hopped in. Two guards quickly escorted Marron and Relena to the back, and the truck bolted away. Duo watched the vehicle pull away carrying his new found life. He sighed and headed to his Gundam. While the pilots dutifully fought the first round of mobile dolls, Relena and Marron arrived at the palace. They were escorted in and the doors behind them slammed and bolted. �What�s going on?� Relena shouted as bunch of guards grabbed her and Marron. �Well hello there, Relena.� A little red headed girl hissed. �We�ve been awaiting your arrival, and you brought a friend. Take them to my chambers.� She ordered. Marron and Relena were briskly rushed into a large room. Marron knew she could take these guys out with a single blast, but she remembered what Duo said and she decided to wait even though them touching her was really irritating her. Besides Relena shook her head to tell Marron not to do anything. �Who are you, and what do you want?� Relena demanded. �Hmm. I don�t think you�re in any position to demand anything. But since you�re so eager to know I will tell you.� The little girl got up out of her chair and approached Relena. �My name is Mariemaria. Daughter of Zechs, and granddaughter of Dekim who is roaming around here somewhere.� She laughed. �My grandfather and I have decided to overturn your authority, and we are now in control. I am carrying forth my fathers plan, as he would want it.� �Relena? Are you going to take that from a little snot�� Relena whipped her head around to silence her. �Hmm. And who might you be?� Mariemaria asked thoughtfully. �She�s an old friend of mine visiting from Europe.� Relena answered. �Does this bold friend of yours have a name?� �Marron.� Relena growled. �Well Marron I see that your tongue is loose. Perhaps we should remove it?� She evilly grinned. Marron smirked back daring her to try. �No. Please she will not be any trouble. It�s me you�re here for, just leave her out of this.� Relena pleaded. Mariemaria sniffed. She turned to leave and before she disappeared through the doors she turned her head to the side. �Escape is futile.� She exited the room and closed the doors behind her. �Marron please. You need to keep silent, this isn�t your world, and you only bring unwanted attention to yourself.� Relena whispered and headed to the window. The doors opened and a couple of guards rushed in. They saw Marron and headed over to her. �What are you doing?� Relena demanded. �Leave her be.� She tried to pry her out of their clutches and they flung her aside. She made eye contact with Marron and she could see the anger welling inside the newcomer. She shook her head to plead not to do anything. Marron snorted as they dragged her out. �Assholes.� She mumbled as they ushered her down a hallway. She was thrown into a cold metal room. There were monitors all over the walls, and computers lined up below them. �You must be Marron.� A large dark figure said with his back turned to her as he looked at one of the monitors. �I�ve heard how spunky you are and thought it would be nice to get to know you.� Dekim turned around to face her. He extended his hand to help her up off the floor and she ignored it. She got up to her feet by herself and stood proud. �I definitely sense fight in you.� He nodded approvingly. �It�s been a long time since I have seen a woman with that kind of spirit.� He slowly approached her and she stood her ground and sneered at him. �I must say you are very attractive.� He reached his hand out to brush away the stray pieces of hair that fell in her face. She moved her head back before he could touch her. �Don�t touch me.� She hissed. �You have no idea who you are messing with.� He raised his eyebrows and roared with laughter. She smirked. The doors burst open and a man quickly approached the two. �Sir. The Gundam�s are defeating the dolls.� He said urgently. Dekim turned around and faced a monitor. He typed something on one of the computers and the palace started to shake. Marron felt the building move and her eyes widened. This lasted for a few minutes then it stopped. <><><><><> Relena watched outside her window as earth started to rise in front of her. She moaned knowing what was happening. Mariemaria entered her chambers. �I suppose Dekim found reason to bury us.� She laughed. �Well let�s go see what�s going on.� She chirped and guards rushed in to get the queen. �What have you done with Marron?� She barked as she struggled against their grasp. �Dekim wanted to meet her.� She smiled. �I think he�s lonely.� Relena gasped and MarieMaria roared with laughter. <><><><><> �Hey guys. I just got word that Dekim is holding the Queen and some stranger hostage in the palace. It just went underground.� Lucrezia announced to the pilots. �Let me know if you need any assistance and I will come once I defeat these ships.� �Dammit.� Duo growled. He felt his heart sink. �Thanks Lucrezia, but I think we can handle it.� Heero replied. �By the way who is this mysterious person? She sure has ruffled Dekim�s feathers.� She asked. No one heard Duo moan. �Just a friend of Relena�s. Alright guys let�s get these dolls out of our way and we can head over to the palace.� Trowa interjected, and he blasted the last of Dekim�s defense shelters as the others battled the remaining dolls. <><><><><> �That�s it sir, they are heading this way.� Dekim smiled at the news and started to leave the room. He turned back to Marron and whispered, �I�ll be back for you.� �Hmm. Can�t wait.� She mumbled. Relena entered with Mariemaria, and she sighed when she saw Marron unhurt. �Mariemaria, please listen. I don�t think this is the plan that your father had intended. I�m heading this world into peace, and this is only setting us back. What your grandfather is doing is evil and not what your intentions are.� Relena pleaded. �He�s out for power, not peace and I know that is what you�re seeking.� �You�re lying.� She hissed back. �No, I�m not. Look.� She pointed to a monitor, and they watched as mobile dolls were scattered above them ready to attack the Gundam�s who just showed up. Marron inhaled a deep breath and watched her love battle the enemy. �They are fighting for peace Marimaria, you know what the Gundam�s represent. Do you honestly think they would be doing this to destroy earth?� Mariemaria chewed on her lip and watched as the others did. They heard loud explosions as one of the Gundams blasted at the earth above them. It then worked its way through the many sealed doors. Zechs, Trowa, Quatra, and Duo battled the dolls on the outside while Heero infiltrated the palace only to be met by more dolls. The others followed behind him after defeating the army outside. Heero jumped down from his Gundam when he saw Dekim. He drew his gun and took a shot as the madman who disappeared around a corner. He ran back to the main computer room where the girls were. Mariemaria turned to her grandfather as he entered. �Stop it. You were wrong, and I will not allow you to continue with your plan.� She ordered. �She�s poisoned your mind. You can�t listen to her.� He growled. Seeing that Mariemaria�s heart has changed he knew he was doomed. He withdrew a pistol and aimed it at Relena. �Fine, then I will cure the disease that has infected you.� He cocked the gun, and fired. Mariemaria jumped in front of the bullet and took it in the shoulder. She was flung back into Relena�s arms. Marron lunged at the guy, unable to contain her rage and she grabbed the gun. They struggled for a few seconds and the gun went off again. Her eyes widened as she saw blood trickle down the side of his mouth. He slunk to the ground, and died. Marron dropped the gun, and stared at the lifeless body. The firing above had stopped and Heero emerged into the room with the others behind him. �She needs a doctor quick.� Relena snapped. She bent her head down and looked at the little girl. �Hold on Mariemaria, we are going to get you some help.� The little girl nodded and slipped into unconsciousness. Two guys in lab coats rushed in and whisked the injured girl away. �Well.� Marron sighed. �It�s about time.� She groaned. She saw her Duo and her heart melted. �Who are you?� Quartra asked breathlessly. Duo raised an eyebrow and quickly stepped to her side. �This is Marron.� He said indicating that she was unavailable. <><><><><> Relena announced to the world that peace has at last been achieved. Everyone on earth cheered. It would be a long time before anything else would happen. It has been several days since the final battle, and Heero finally went to her after destroying the Gundams. He knocked on her door, and she opened it. Her eyes brightened and she yanked him in. Closing the doors behind him she lunged into his arms, and planted kisses all over his face. �I�ve missed you Heero.� She whispered. He whisked her up into his arms and took her to her bed. He gently laid her down and started to unbutton his shirt. He then slid onto the bed the next her rolling her on top of him. �I missed you too.� He slowly unbuttoned her blouse, and removed her skirt. She closed her eyes as his hands grazed her body delicately. He shrugged off his pants, and she moaned when she felt his sex against her thigh. They kissed and caressed for a long time, taking the time to explore each other�s body before intercourse. <><><><><> Marron welcomed back Duo in her special way. They made love for what felt like days. They just couldn�t get enough of each other. No one bothered them, and they forgot that a world even existed outside his room. A couple of weeks passed and they were invited to a formal dinner in honor of the pilots at the palace. �Does that mean I have to wear a dress?� She moaned, and he laughed. �This ought to be interesting. I don�t think I�ve ever seen you in a dress.� He smiled at her halfhearted misery. <><><><><> She slipped into the gown that Relena had sent to her, and he dressed in his formal uniform. They were escorted to the palace for the formal dinner. Everyone was there and they were the last to arrive. Marron saw Relena who nodded for her to come see her. She was excited to see her again. Marron walked over elegantly and Duo watched with pride. He drew in a breath marveling at her femininity. �Relena, it�s good to see you again. Kami you look so different.� She stared at Relena and cocked her head, for she felt a Ki. Her eyes widened but could tell that Relena was unaware of this child that she was carrying, and decided not pursue it. �Are you alright Marron? You look flushed.� She whispered. Marron nodded and scanned the room for Heero. He was talking to the other pilots and glancing their way every few seconds. It was obvious that he wanted to be near Relena, but didn�t want to draw attention to their affair. The dinner bell rang and everyone moved to the dining room. Relena sat at the head of the table and everyone waited till she sat before sitting herself. The servants quickly brought out the soup, and Relena looked at it queerly. Her stomach flip-flopped and she put her hand to her mouth. Marron watched this and new the Queen was going to lose it. �Excuse me.� Relena tried to leave the table without being to disruptive, but she felt the nausea barreling down on her. Everyone stood up respectfully as she bolted from the table. Heero flinched to go after her, but Trowa grabbed his arm. Marron didn�t see anyone else leaving so she decided to take it upon herself to see if Relena was all right. She followed the sick Queen to the bathroom and closed the door behind them. Relena dropped down over the toilet and gagged. Marron moistened a hand towel that was hanging by the sink and waited to hand it Relena. Relena moaned as another spasm wracked through her. She finished and looked up at Marron. �I must be a vision.� She rasped. Marron smiled and handed her the wet towel. �Your highness, are you alright?� Heero asked from the other side of the door. She looked at Marron with what looked like desperation in her eyes. �Yes Heero. I�ll be out in a minute.� She returned. He lingered by the door before leaving. �I just don�t know what is wrong with me. I feel this way all the time, and not too mention how dizzy I get. I think I�ve got something.� �Oh yeah you got something alright.� Marron smirked, and Relena looked at her quizzically. �Relena. Has it crossed your mind that you may be� pregnant?� Relena gasped. �I can�t be. No. This isn�t good. Oh my� oooooo. How? I mean�� She was in shock. �Marron this could be devastating to the world. An unwed pregnant queen? People will lose faith. What am I going to do?� She felt the tears welling up in her eyes. Marron rolled her eyes, and sniffed. �This planet needs to loosen up and enjoy life. Honestly, didn�t you learn anything from my earth? Why can�t this earth be that way?� Marron whispered. �If it�s that important why don�t you marry Heero? Doesn�t he have enough status to be able to marry royalty?� Relena looked at her. �What�s he going to say? He�s going to be so angry.� She shook her head ignoring Marron�s questions. �I think you better talk to him.� Marron suggested. �First I need to see if that is what it really is.� �Um Relena. Trust me when I say that you are. There is no ifs, ands, or buts. You are 100% pregnant.� She stressed her point. �How do you know?� Marron exhaled loudly. �I can sense its life force.� �Oh.� She splashed her face with water, and Marron handed her a dry towel. �I guess I better get back to the guests. But I can�t look at that food again. Would you tell them that I wasn�t feeling well and that I send my apologies?� She pleaded. �Isn�t that out of my league?� Marron asked. �No, you can do it. Please Marron, I�m still not feeling well.� She moaned. Marron agreed and walked out with Relena. She watched her ascend the stairwell before heading back to the dining room. Everyone stood up and waited for her to be seated. �The Queen sends her apologies, but she is not feeling well and will not be joining us for the remainder of the meal.� She hoped that sounded formal enough. She hated socializing with these people. It was hard for her to drop her world language and lax attitude for all of this proper crap. She stared at Heero to see his reaction. Worry was subtly there, and no one else would notice unless they stared at him. He wanted so bad to leave, but knew it would be too obvious and he waited until after dinner. Duo leaned over to her and whispered in her ear. �What was that all about?� He said low enough that nobody else would be able to hear. Marron figured it would be all right to tell and she leaned back over to him. �Relena is pregnant.� He choked on the wine that he was sipping. Everyone looked at him as Marron patted him lightly on the back. He held his napkin up to his mouth so not to be rude, and cleared his throat. Heero and Duo looked at each, and nodded but for different reasons. Everyone finished dinner and straggled into the foyer where they prepared to leave. Heero managed to sneak away unnoticed by almost everyone. Marron and Duo paid attention though. <><><><><> �Relena?� He whispered as he approached her bed. �What�s the matter? Are you ill?� He saw that she had been crying and this deepened his concern. She sat up in the bed and put her hands over her face. �You�re going to be so angry.� She sobbed. He stroked her hair to calm her, and tried to figure out what he could possibly get angry about. �I could never be angry with you.� He whispered softly. �Tell me what has happened.� She wiped the tears away and looked at him. She bit her lip and reluctantly told him. �Heero. Oooooooo.� She started sobbing again. He sighed, with anticipation of wanting to know. �Relena look at me.� He brought her face up to his. �I love you so much. I think I�ve told you that a million times. Why can�t you trust me enough to tell me what is bothering you.� She drew in a cleansing breath, and worked up her nerve. She moved away from him and stood up. Wrong move. The dizziness consumed her and she fell. Luckily he was right there to catch her or she would have cracked her head on the side of the bed. He picked her up and put her back on the bed. �Should I get a doctor?� He said urgently. She shook her head no. �Then tell me please, what is wrong with you.� She nodded in resignation. �Alright Heero. I�m pregnant.� He jumped off the bed and stared at her. His face radiated shock, and he backed away from the bed. �Are� are you sure?� She nodded and started crying reading his expression for disgust. �What am I going to do?� She sobbed uncontrollably. He snapped out of his trance and approached the bed slowly. He knelt down at the side and grabbed her hands. �You�re going to marry me. That�s what you�re going to do.� He whispered still not believing that he was going to be a father. She stopped crying and looked at him. �But we�re going to have to do this immediately.� He offered. He looked at her and realized he didn�t really ask her. He softened his eyes, and whispered, �Will you marry me Relena?� She lunged into his arms and cried tears of joy. �You mean it? Really?� She gasped. �Yes. Oh yes I will marry you. I love you eternally Heero.� They made love figuring the harm is done, what could it hurt now. Tomorrow she would announce the engagement to the world. They decided to marry in a week, to try and cover up the possible scandal. <><><><><> �I can�t believe she is pregnant.� Duo gasped in the privacy of their apartment. �What I can�t believe is that she made me address you all. Ugh. That was horrid.� He smiled at her and hugged her tightly. �You did magnificent.� �You�re just saying that. You people are so up tight, with all of this proper bullshit.� He has gotten used to her mannerisms, and she only did it around him. He laughed. Then she looked thoughtful. �She�s afraid that Heero will be angry. He�s your friend how do you suppose he will react?� �I think he will definitely be caught off guard, it will shock him. But I believe he will do the right thing. They are in love after all.� Then he started busting out laughing. �I just can�t picture Heero a father.� The laughter progressed into a hysterical fit. She looked at him, and shook her head. �What if I told you that you were going to be a father?� She teased. He stopped laughing and gulped. Now it was her turn for laughter. �Just kidding.� He grabbed her around the waist and dropped her to the ground then proceeded to tickle her. <><><><><> Although shocked, the world was happy for their queen. The wedding was large as it had to be, and it was perfect for something that was done within a week. Duo was the best man, and Marron sat in between Trowa and Quatra who had their own escorts. She watched in awe and wished it were her up there. Duo would glance at her from time to time and she would smile. Duo and Marron didn�t stay long at the very small and private reception. They were aching to get home and be by themselves. They lived reclusively for the next several months, seeing his friends from time to time. Primarily they wanted to be left alone. Time was going so fast and they just basked in each other�s love. She was visiting the overdue princess on the wrong day. Relena�s water broke and she went directly into hard labor. Heero was by her side as the doctors were ushered in to deliver the baby. Marron slipped out during the commotion and went downstairs to Duo who was visiting Heero. It wasn�t long when they saw the doctors coming downstairs. �How is she?� Marron asked the doctors. �Duo, Marron. Come up here.� Heero yelled from the top. And they quickly ascended the stairs. They followed Heero into the chamber and saw Relena holding a tiny little baby. Marron had a tear in her eye as she approached the bed. �He�s beautiful.� She whispered. �What�s his name?� �This is Miyoko. Would you like to hold him?� Relena said as she lifted her son to Marron. Marron who never held a baby in her life politely declined. Duo congratulated his friend. He then walked over and kissed Relena on the cheek, and stroked Miyoko�s soft face. Miyoko started wailing, and this gave the couple the cue to leave. When the door closed behind them Relena nursed her child and Heero climbed in bed next to them. �That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.� He beamed remembering his son being born. He kissed his child then kissed his wife passionately. <><><><><> It was now a month before the anniversary of her arrival, and it was time to talk to him. They made love and lay in each other�s arms. She wasn�t her normal happy self and he didn�t understand why. �What�s wrong Marron? You�ve been very quiet these past couple of weeks.� He whispered. She sighed. �You know it�s almost been a year since I came here.� �I know. I�ve enjoyed every moment of these 11 months.� He smiled. �Duo. You know they are going to try and get me back.� This struck at him. He had no idea what she was talking about. She has never talked about this, and he was concerned not liking to hear someone is going to take her away from him. �Who?� �My friends and family. I know they are going to wish me back. Just like they wished you and the others back here.� She decided to let him think about this before continuing. �I�m surprised you never asked about that day.� �I figured it wasn�t something that you wanted to share.� He offered. �Do you want to know?� �I would like to understand what it is that is threatening to take you away from me.� He growled. �Back on my earth, we have things called Dragonballs. You can make a wish with these balls, but then it takes a year for them to restore their energy.� He nodded his understanding. �They will wish me back Duo.� He shuttered. She wept in his arms, but he didn�t know until he felt the warm tears fall on his chest. �What are we going to do?� He held her tighter and closed his eyes. She decided the only way to keep him with her was to have his child. She didn�t know whether to just do it and not tell him, or plan this with him. She was afraid that he would reject the idea. She tricked him once and promised him that she would never do it again. She climbed on top of him and put her face in his neck, laying all her weight on him. He hugged her fiercely. �Duo?� She whispered. �Um� never mind.� He lifted her head and gazed in her tear filled eyes. �What?� Her heart was pounding madly against her chest, and he felt it. He was growing concern at her evasiveness. �Will you give me a child?� She whispered this so softly that she was afraid he might not have heard. He closed his eyes, and sucked in a deep breath. He rolled her over onto her back and kissed her neck. She moaned and the tears spilled down the sides of her head. He licked her neck and traced his tongue to her breast, where he bit and sucked tenderly. He slid his hand down and reached her hardened clitoris. She writhed under his touch, and parted her legs beckoning for him to enter her. He put the tip in and stopped. �Are you sure Marron?� and he kissed at her tears. Her heart was still racing and it deafened her. He kissed her chest where the pounding heart beat. Still holding his position until he received an answer. �Yes.� She whispered. He thrust himself deep within her and she moaned loudly. He pistoned faster and harder, making them both sweat and pant. �I love you Duo.� She moaned, and he felt the painful pleasure working it�s way to his manhood. He groaned as he released inside her. His orgasm, and the knowledge of his seed planting itself within her wracked her body into ecstasy. They made love passionately and regularly until she felt the unmistakable signs of a Ki within her. This was a few days before the year ended. Every morning he waited with anticipation to see if she was pregnant. He was scared and thrilled at the same time. She woke up and looked at him with a warm smile. He knew by the look in her face, and his eyes widened. �Are you?� He said breathlessly. She nodded frantically and grinned a big grin. He grabbed her and hugged her tightly. �Does that mean we have to stop trying?� She gave him an evil smirk and brought him down with her. <><><><><> �Now Goku.� Juuhachi-gou hissed. She never got over it like Krillin said, she held a grudge against everyone including her husband. She cried so long till she couldn�t cry anymore. The dragon appeared, and Goku did the ritualistic lingo then asked for his wish. <><><><><> �What�s happening?� Duo asked as they felt a powerful force surrounding them. He held onto Marron tightly and she had her eyes closed concentrating on something. The wind whipped her hair around as she mentally denied the dragon. When the forces left them she sank in his arms. He held her fiercely and waited for her to tell him what happened. <><><><><> �Your wish has been denied. Marron does not wish to come back.� The dragon boomed. Juuhachi-gou sank to her knees. �You still have a remaining wish.� �We will use it at a later time.� Goku answered him back and the dragon disappeared. �Damn you all.� She gasped and she flew off into the sky. �I�ll be right back.� Goku growled. He put his fingers to his forehead and disappeared. <><><><><> �Hi Goku.� Dende said none to enthusiastically, knowing the wish was not fulfilled. �Dende? I need an answer to something.� Goku said with authority. Dende nodded. �Can I make a wish to be transported to Marron only to be returned in a week or so?� It was a stretch but he hoped that Dende would say yes. Dende twisted his face and thought about it for a second. �Well I suppose it would work, but the most that can be allowed would be three days.� He saw Goku�s face brighten, and he thanked Dende then disappeared. He told the group his plan and they sighed with relief. �Let me do it Goku.� Krillin snapped. Goku put a hand on his long time friend�s shoulder. �No Krillin. You�re emotionally involved and it wouldn�t be good for you or Marron.� Goku said calmly. �Don�t mention this to Juuhachi-gou, incase it doesn�t work. Okay?� Krillin shook his head sadly. �Thanks Goku.� The dragon was summoned and the wish was granted. <><><><><> �They tried to wish me back. For some reason I was able to deny it.� She smiled at him. �But I�m afraid that won�t be there only attempt.� She bit her lip as he helped her up. They saw a figure walking towards them and Marron gasped. �Goku.� She whispered. Duo grabbed her hand and stood in front of her. �Well hi there, Marron. Hey Duo.� Goku chirped. �You�ve really got some upset people back at home. Won�t you come home Marron?� �You�re not taking her Goku.� Duo snapped, knowing full well this guy could kill him instantly. �Take it easy you guys. I came to talk. Maybe we can work something out.� Marron came from around Goku and he smiled at her, then the smile faded as he really looked at her. �Oh.� Was all he could say. �Well this presents a problem doesn�t it.� �You see. I can�t leave him Goku. So please tell mother and father that I am happy here.� She lied. She hated this earth, but she loved Duo and was willing to sacrifice for him. �Marron I�m here for three days, so we can try to work this out.� He offered. �Hi Goku.� Trowa said from behind him. Marron sighed at the intrusion. �Hello Trowa. How are you?� Goku said goofily and he put his hand behind his head. �The Queen sent me out here to see if everything was alright. So is everything alright?� He asked quietly. �Tell her everything is fine.� Duo snapped. �Goku. May I have a day to talk to Marron alone?� �Why sure, go ahead. I�ll just go and explore. It�s not everyday you get to see a different earth.� He laughed. �I�ll be back here tomorrow.� He hugged Marron and flew off into the sky. Trowa slapped a hand to his forehead. �Does he have to do that here?� He walked back towards the palace sensing the two wanted to be alone. �I�m not going Duo. You can�t make, and neither can Goku. I will run.� She said urgently. �I was thinking Marron, maybe you should go home. But take me too.� He whispered. �This earth is at peace, and I�m finished fighting. I have a family to think about.� �But what about your friends? I�ve already adjusted Duo.� She said urgently to make him understand it�s a major sacrifice. �It�s not like I haven�t been there before. It�s still a lot better than this place.� He looked sad. �This place has killed your spirit Marron, and it has torn me up inside. It�s time to get you out of here.� She sobbed in his arms. �Are you sure Duo? I don�t mind really.� She said through sobs. She loved him so much, and knew they would be together no matter what. �I�m leaving some close friends, but no family. I�m sure. No. I�m positive.� He wiped her face and she looked up at him with those big blue eyes, which always melted his heart. �One thing. Will you marry me? I am, after all, the father of your child.� She wrapped her arms around his neck. �Can we just get it done quickly, like tomorrow or something?� He nodded. �Well let�s go tell the others.� They walked together towards the palace. <><><><><> The next day Goku returned as promised and landed beside the two. �I must say you guys look happy.� �Come on Goku we don�t have much time.� Marron grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the palace. They entered a room where his friends were waiting. They were dressed very informal for that is what the couple requested. �What�s going on?� Goku asked. �Duo and I are getting married, and I want you to give me away.� She beamed. He felt like he was going to pass out. �Come on big guy, be strong. This has to be done.� The captain of Relena�s force did the honors, and when he announced the couple everyone cheered. She received hugs from everybody, and Duo�s back had been slapped raw. Goku got the couple by themselves to see what was going on. �Um guys this doesn�t settle anything. I hate to be the party drag, but we still have the issue of what you�re going to do.� �Duo and I are coming home.� Goku smiled his cheesy big grin, and he hugged the two tightly. Both Marron and Duo gasped for air. �Um Goku. She�s pregnant remember?� Duo gasped. �Oh yeah. Sorry Marron.� And he let them go. <><><><><> �I�m going to miss you Duo.� Heero said quietly. �You�ve been like a brother to me, and I will never forget you.� He hugged him briefly and quickly let go. Relena came up and gave him hug with Miyoko in her arms. �Take great care Duo. You will forever be in our hearts.� Trowa, Quatra, and Zechs shook his hand then bowed respectably. �Bye guys. Just remember that I�m happier this way.� He said as he saw all the sad looks, he was going to miss them but not too bad. He put his hand on Goku�s shoulder, and Goku wrapped his arm around Marron. �Bye everyone.� Marron yelled. �Oh yeah and lighten the hell up.� The three disappeared. The group laughed. �I�m going to miss that mouth of hers.� Trowa said. The others nodded in agreement. <><><><><> The three appeared, and the old gang was breathless when they saw them return. �MARRON.� Bra squealed. Marron waved at her friends and family. Krillin walked up to his daughter. She braced herself for the yell, but it never came. He hugged her tightly. �I�m so glad your home. Your mother�� �Marron?� Juuhachi-gou said breathlessly. �My baby is home.� She grabbed her daughter but noticed someone was with her. Her eyes narrowed, as she glared at Duo. �You. You son-of-a-bitch. How could you take her away from me.� �Mother. He didn�t know. I tricked him, don�t be mad at him, be mad at me.� Juuhachi-gou stopped and looked at Marron quizzically. �Is that coming from you?� Marron nodded with fright, afraid her mother was going to go off on her. �My baby is having a baby?� She laughed hysterically. Everyone looked at Juuhachi-gou as if she was having a breakdown. �Please come home with me and let me just talk with you. Duo is welcome.� She said the last part through clenched teeth. Marron looked at Duo and he nodded. The group walked over and hugged Marron. Trunks lingered his hug a little longer than the rest. He was her first after all. �I can�t believe you�re married and pregnant.� �Thank you Goku.� She wanted to thank him before she left with her husband and parents. �I�ll call you later Bra.� She said in her normal chipper tone. �Oh hey can someone drive us. Duo�s not used to this flying stuff and I don�t think I should exert myself.� She laughed nervously. �Come on we�ll take you back.� Trunks said as he released a car capsule. Duo and Marron sat in the backseat holding each other. �How are you holding up?� She whispered in his ear. �I�m actually fine. A little tired, but I�m okay.� He said and he laid his head in the crook of her arm and rested the entire trip home. �I love you Marron.� �I love you too Duo.� She smiled and rested her head on his.
