This deck configuration is unique only to the Saratoga and vessels of it's class. The turbolift shaft rises into the very middle of this oval room called the Life Alcove. Two corridors lead away from the turbolift and single door is toward the bow of the vessel.
Offices are located to starboard, and the Command Quarters are to port. The Command Bridge is located forward.

A small hallway curves from the entrance way here, the gunmetal colored walls are covered with doors that lead to small Officer rooms. Each room holds one bed, sometimes a bunk depending on the number aboard. A very small table, and room for clothes and belongings, along with a washroom.

Ruu
 Before you is a female of the Trill race. Like all of the members of her race, she has dark, leapord-like spots running down the sides of her face, and quite possibly the rest of her body. She stands at about 5'11'' tall, and dark brown, almost black shoulder length hair that is tied back, creating a 'tail' of sorts. Upon first look, her eyes are very disconcerting - the 'whites' seem to be grey, and the colored part seems to be black with light yellowish colored pupils. These are implants - her biological eyes have been lost, ssomehow.
 Her body, aside from her face, is covered in a suit of yellowish metallic armor, covered at the joints by a black rubbery material. This is a tall Caitian female, with tan fur. She stands about 6'4", with a reddish mane that doesn't extend to her face and chin. She has a long tail, ending in a bit of bushy reddish fur. She has two ears on top of her head, that seem to move every once in a while. Her feet has a different foot structure, wherein she rest on her toes as opposed to the heel. This also renders her footsteps almost inaudible, but renders her unable to wear shoes.
Sumta currently wears the duty uniform of an officer in the Delta Vega Alliance Navy. A navy-yoked duty jacket covers a white turtleneck undershirt. A one inch wide strip of wine red fabric is across her chest. Just above the stripe on the left is a gold and titanium stylized Delta Vega Alliance communicator. A rank pin is placed on the far right side of the strip, '>*', signifying the rank of Commodore. Beneath the stripe, the jacket is black. The bottom of the jacket, which is elasticised both for comfort and necessity, comes down over a pair of black pants that have a red stripe running down the outside of each leg.

"Me?" Ruu asks. "Well, ah.. yes," she says, nodding. "I would be honored," she says with a grin.

Before you is a female of the Trill race. Like all of the members of her race, she has dark, leapord-like spots running down the sides of her face, and quite possibly the rest of her body. She stands at about 5'11'' tall. She has enchanting bright teal eyes, and dark brown, almost black shoulder length hair that is tied back, creating a 'tail' of sorts. She looks like she keeps herself in good shape, not that it's easy to tell through the uniform.
Ruu is wearing a dress white jacket. On the shoulders is a single black stripe. Her jacket has a collar on it, similar to that of the dress uniform, except it's a part of the jacket and not the undershirt. On the right side of her collar is a rank pin, **, indicating the rank of Lieutenant JG. On the left breast of the uniform is the silver and golden Starfleet delta communicator pin. On the end of each sleeve is a stripe of maroon turtleneck undershirt. At the end of the sleeves on her uniform is a maroon fabric, indicating the department she works in. A two inch wide black belt is around her waist with a shiny golden Starfleet beltbuckle. About three inches of the white jacket can be seen below the belt, which flows over the top of black pants. The pants have a maroon stripe down them, also indicating the wearer's department. Her pants are neatly tucked into a pair of well shined black boots.
"Oh, I'm sure, with the planning and arrangements, and then with our actual jobs, the situation with the BLF.." Ruu says, nodding.
Sumta puts a case in Ruu's hand, "There's the ring.. if I understand Terran tradition correctly, you'll be expected to give me the ring to give to Shintu." She smiles, "Thanks, Lieutenant."
"No problem at all, Commodore," Ruu says, smiling. "We're going to be late if we don't leave the ship now, though, aren't we?" she asks.

The large lounge is currently set up with round tables circling the perimeter. Opposite the entrance to the lounge is a large set of windows, allowing an impressive view of space. Lying in front of the windows is a long table with food and drinks available for the guest. There is a small podium set up in the the northwest corner near the windows for any speeches by guests and the center of the room is arranged as a dance floor. Above the dance floor are thousands of tiny shimmering lights, luminating the room with a soft glow.

The large lounge is currently set up with round tables circling the perimeter. Opposite the entrance to the lounge is a large set of windows, allowing an impressive view of space. Lying in front of the windows is a long table with food and drinks available for the guest. There is a small podium set up in the the northwest corner near the windows for any speeches by guests and the center of the room is arranged as a dance floor. Above the dance floor are thousands of tiny shimmering lights, luminating the room with a soft glow.

Lerro Ceros, apparently not quite so prompt as usual today, steps through the door with a quiet hiss of hydraulics. He looks around at the room, many familiar people, some not so familiar people, catching his attention. He stands there silently, looking for an open seat next to someone he knows.

The large lounge is currently set up with round tables circling the perimeter. Opposite the entrance to the lounge is a large set of windows, allowing an impressive view of space. Lying in front of the windows is a long table with food and drinks available for the guest. There is a small podium set up in the the northwest corner near the windows for any speeches by guests and the center of the room is arranged as a dance floor. Above the dance floor are thousands of tiny shimmering lights, luminating the room with a soft glow.

Alert tracers indicate that the starbase is currently at condition green.

From his place at the altar, the ship's chaplain - a heavy-set, middle-aged fellow named Murray - clears his throat. "Dearly beloved," he says, his voice clear. "We are gathered here, this Fifteenth of March in the year 2400, to witness the sacred union of Shintu Onimusha and Sumta Velora in the sacrament of holy matrimony."
<OOC> Droeg says, "catholic, excellent"
<OOC> Ruu says, "Today is the ides of march..."
<OOC> Ruu says, "Hmm."
Sumta nods slowly, holding her bouqet close to her chest, listening to the chaplain.
Droeg stops stirring around in his seat as the chaplain begins his speech. He sits up and pays attention to the ceremony.

Ruu watches the scene at the altar, nervously waiting for her cue.
Shintu smiles big, purring, keeping close to Sumta a little
Chaplain Murray pauses for a moment before continuing the ceremony. "Groom and bride," he says, "In the days ahead of you there may be difficult times. When you find yourself in these situations, I ask you to reflect on these words." He inhales. "Let your love be stronger than your anger. Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend than to break. Believe the best of your beloved rather than the worst. Confide in your partner and ask for help when you need it. Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship. Give your spouse the same courtesies and kindnesses you bestow on your friends. Say "I love you" every day."
Eldric crosses his Arms and watches the Ceremony

Lerro notices Starr and moves over to a chair behind him. He sits down and leans forward wispering to the man, "Good evening, Magistrate Starr." quietly he says before leaning back into his chair and resting his hands in his lap as he watches the ceremony intently.

"And I ask you," the Chaplain says, his voice almost impassioned, "to remember what the First Book of Corinthians, Chapter 13 teaches us of love." He pauses again, then cites the verse: "Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love is never-ending."
<OOC> Starr goes to dinner.
<OOC> Ruu says, "..."
<OOC> Droeg says, "did u have this planned?"
"And as evidenced before us here today," the Chaplain says after a pause, "Love may cross all bounds. Human, Caitian, Founder... Love is blind to such boundaries as the colour of one's skin or the planet of one's origin. Love sees only the bond between two people, a bond so strong that not even the mightiest of forces may break it. There is truly no greater power than that of love."
<OOC> Jagan'iklan is taking some of it from a website he dug up, but I'm ad-libbing the rest.
<OOC> Sumta says, "We had the time, date, and certain positions planned.. I had left it up to the Captain to get his part ready, and it seems that was a mistake."

Shintu purrs contently, gazing into Sumta's eyes
The Chaplain looks at Shintu and Sumta with a serious expression. "Shintu and Sumta," he says, "I remind you that marriage is a precious gift; a lifelong dedication to love and a daily challenge to love one another more fully and more freely."
<OOC> Lerro says, "And I didn't get invited until like an hour ago, after I asked why I didn't get it. :("
Eldric puts his hands in his lap and crosses his legs paying attention to the ceremony and the emotions comming off of the two
Sumta returns the gaze, seemingly distracted from her surroundings, but still listening to the Chaplain.
<OOC> Sumta says, "When I was putting everything together, you had been missing for weeks."
<OOC> Lerro says, "true"
<OOC> Eldric says, "hey I thought i was going to be Jinxie with the ring pillow :P"
Jagan'iklan turns his attention fully to Shintu now. "Do you, Shintu Onimusha," he says, "take Sumta Velora to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Whoops."
<OOC> Droeg says, "oops"

The Chaplain turns his attention fully to Shintu now. "Do you, Shintu Onimusha," he says, "take Sumta Velora to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Boy, is my face red."
<OOC> Droeg says, "why?"
Shintu nods a bit and smiles happily, turning to look at Sumta slowly as he speaks, his expressions and tail show happiness like no other "Yes, I do"

Ruu continues watching, wiping her brow with her left hand. Her smile is beginning to sag a little. It doesn't look like she's feeling too good, as if she's coming down with a cold. She readies herself as she heres those words. Here comes the cue..
<OOC> Ruu says, "*hears."
The Chaplain says, "Do you promise to be a tender and faithful husband?"
Shintu nods and purs again "Yes"
<OOC> Eldric puts that on his note :P
"Do you promise to love, honor, and cherish her, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, for as long as you both shall live?"
Shintu nods "Yes, I do"
<OOC> Sumta says, "Droeg - Jagan'iklan is a Jem'Hadar who isn't even present.. :)"
<OOC> Ruu coughs. "Yet."
From afar, Jagan'iklan is gonna materialize behind SHintu and put a gun to his head.
Long distance to Jagan'iklan: Sumta giggles
<OOC> Droeg says, "i know..."
"With this understanding," the Chaplain says, turning to Sumta, "do you, Sumta Velora, take Shintu Onimusha to be your beloved husband?"
<OOC> Sumta says, "Yeah.. so when that Jem'hadar takes the place of the chaplain.. it's funny."
<OOC> Droeg says, "jem hadar, thats bad. my character is gonna die before he even becomes a real character."
Sumta nods, tail curling, "I do."

Lerro continues to watch the wedding of his oldest and longest lasting friend. He smiles slightly, happy that she was happy, wondering if his day would ever come. Most likely not. He had grown old, and still had not met anyone. He would die the way he had lived for the past long time.

"Do you promise to be a tender, faithful wife?" the Chaplain asks.
Ruu pages: When do I stand up? I think he just skipped it. :/

A shimmering blue column suddenly appears a few feet behind Shintu, rapidly materializing into the form of a Jem'Hadar. He promptly throws an arm around the Caitian's neck, aiming his polaron pistol at the side of his skull. "This ceremony is over!" he bellows. "Return the Founder to me immediately, or this one dies."
<OOC> Eldric says, "I knew it! :P"
Eldric stands up as the colum appears
Shintu blinks growling loudly as he is suddenly grab. His eyes gaze directly at Sumta, but not with scared, but with fear..
The Chaplain jumps back in shock, stumbling off the altar and falling on the floor to stare in surprise at the intruder. "This is an outrage!" he sputters.
Droeg fly's backwards over his pew in suprise, being woken up from a very light sleep.
Lerro jumps to his feet, his pistol rising immediately to bear towards the Jem'Hadar. The adrenaline kicked in immediately, and he began moving towards the front and sideways slightly, tryingo to keep a good line of sight on him, "Put the weapon down, spikeface."

Sumta is shocked as the Jem'hadar appears, turning her body to face the Jem'hadar, staring at him in shock.
Jagan'iklan notices Lerro's motion, digging the gun further into Shintu's skull. "Don't move, or I blow his brains out," he snarls.

Ruu jumps up from her seat in the front row, blinking in suprise. She glances around quickly, stuffing the ring box into her pocket.
Ruu pages: Hostages aren't cool. :(
Shintu growls loudly "She is not going with you.. She stays here with us.. You'll have to kill me to get her, YOU UNDERSTAND!"
You paged Ruu with 'I know, though you have to admit, it's not really surprising."'.
Droeg crawls under the pew moving foward. He peers catiously over it from a few rows back.
<OOC> Shintu grins ..
Jagan'iklan rasps, "Shut up! The Dominion will NOT permit this defilement of the Founders!"

Lerro sighs, "What is the point in this?" he searches for a rank emblem, not quite sure what his rank is without it, "I mean, come on, let people be happy." he follows, still aiming his pistol at the Jem'Hadar, not wanting to fire until it could be a clean shot.

Ruu pages: What to do... what to do..

Sumta looks at Shintu, shaking her head in fear, saying quietly, voice shaking "I think he'd prefer it that way."
Shintu Growls more as he moves his elbow slightly, moving to slam it into the Jem'hadar gut..

<OOC> Eldric ponders killing off this Char here :P

Lerro sees the man moving, getting ready to fire when the man shoves away, his finger getting ready to squeeze the trigger.

Jagan'iklan jiggers his position a bit so that Shintu would take any shot from Lerro that is aimed at him. He bares his teeth - "Surren-" He takes the elbow roughly, promptly jerking his knee up into Shintu's groin, then rolling aside with the speed of a genetically-bred fighting machine.
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Want me to kill you off, Eldric? I will if you want."
Shintu eyes go wide as he falls forward, groaning a bit..
<OOC> Shintu says, "Ok, that was /not/ called for ^.-"

Lerro follows the Jem'hadar's path with the pistol, firing off a cleanly aimed shot towards the reptilian like creature, then diving towards cover, popping up to prepare for another shot.

Lerro's shot misses by a hair as the Jem'Hadar rolls behind the altar. He immediately pops up, his polaron pistol blazing towards Lerro's general direction.
Cooper has disconnected.

The polaron shots land against the pew, splintering them slightly, and Lerro aims and fires another single well aimed shot, not taking any wild wide shots.

<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "And all Dominion weapons kill on impact, by the way."
Sumta looks around as shots start flying, moving for cover, her arm oozing as a phaser pops out of the goo before reforming, "Stop this, Jem'Hadar."
<OOC> Lerro says, "I'm aware of that."
<OOC> Lerro is self-sacrificing for friends.
Jagan'iklan ducks his head again, and the shot ricochets off the altar. He pops off another volley of shots towards Lerro.
<OOC> Eldric says, "ok wait a sec when he shoots so i can pose"
<OOC> Sumta says, "About what setting would it be? Below 12, or above?"
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Probably 11."
Shintu kneels a little as he growls, eyes flashing with the rage of a Caitian. the tail twitches as he hisses a bit, the feeling of pain near the groin disappears do to the rage. He suddenly lashes out and over the Podium as the Jem'hadar comes up again.
<OOC> Sumta says, "Good."
<OOC> Lerro says, "It's why I've gotten as far in starting my Republic."
Eldric sees a weapon locker on the other side of the room and runs for it
One of the polaron volleys goes wide, searing towards Eldric at amazing velocity.

Lerro ducks as a shot barely skims past his head. He jumps back up, aims, and fires with an angry yell, "Just die, heartless bastard."

Sumta looks over towards the shot heading at Eldric in horror.
<OOC> Ruu says, "How far from the podium to the pews?"
<OOC> Shintu says, "uhm, Does anyone notices my pose?"
<OOC> Sumta says, "I did."
<OOC> Sumta says, "That'd be about 5 feet, Ruu."
Eldric runs for the locker and sees the Polaron and tries to dive out of the way but is hit with the polaron and vaporizes into nothing
<OOC> Lerro says, "Yes, Shintu, I was firing to use your dive as a distraction."
Lerro's third shot ricochets off the altar, but the Jem'Hadar is distracted with Shintu. The kar'takin in his other hand slashes at the Caitian's face and torso, attempting to slash his throat or eyes.
<OOC> Shintu says, "ah ok.."
<OOC> Eldric says, "yay now i get to make a new Char :P"
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Page Ang or Ap about resetting."

Shintu blocks a bit, feeling the kar'takin dig into his arms. He growls bitterly at this, his claws coming out and moves his fist downwards, claws out to dig straight into the Jem'Hadars Heart, not even think twice of killing.

It is with that that Lerro jumps over the pew, dropping his phaser and pulling out his bet'leH. He charges the Jem'hadar with the razor bladed weapon forward, diving, rolling, and slashing upwards towards the creature's abdomen while he is looking at Shintu.

Eldric pages: because I was sick of being Betazed since i have been it for a year and wanted to probally pick a new Department not sure which one yet
<OOC> Eldric says, "ok"

Ruu seems to be becoming more ill by the minute, her brow beading with sweat. She makes a decision, running the five feet to the alter to assist Shintu, hopping up to deliver a kick to the Jemmie as he strikes at Shintu.
Sumta moves her phaser, looking for a clean shot, but unable to get one with so many melee combatants.
<OOC> Eldric says, "Coop is prolly going to whine to me but..."
Jagan'iklan jiggers his knees up, shoving Shintu off of him with a mighty heave; he rolls across the altar, but the bet'leH catches him across the side of the torso; dark blood splashes across the altar. He immediately begins firing polaron shots crazily across the church, but Ruu's kick sends the weapon skittering across the deck.
<OOC> Eldric says, "Yay its Super Ruu to the rescue :P"

Lerro lifts the weapon up and drives it straight towards the Jem'Hadar's chest with all his strength, pushing his weight forward for a killing blow.

Shintu falls to the ground a bit, growling lowly, bleeding from his arm

Ruu lands, but not very well. She seems to be getting really ill, taking her temples in her hands, and leaving her out of the melee for now.

Lerro spins around, extending the long weapon and putting centrifigal force on the bladedd weapon, moving forward towards the Jem'hadar at the same time.

With a loud grunt, the Dominion soldier steps deftly back from Lerro's attack; the move brings him closer to the wall. He then lunges forward, slashing at the other man's head with a broad swing of his kar'takin.
<OOC> Sumta pokes Moore.
Shintu growls slightly and shakes it off, standing. He sees Sumta and shakes his head, muttering "He's mine!" he states lowly as he charges the Dominion Quickly, trying to tackle him and pin him.
<OOC> Eldric says, "lol moore just hanging around watching :P"
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "You could shoot me if Lerro weren't in close combat with me. You risk hitting him."
<OOC> Eldric says, "well sumta this a big enough hitch for ya :)"

Lerro lifts up the bet'leH in a rock hard blocking style, the metals clanking together, pushing the Kat'takin backwards, charging, and jabbing powerfully while extending his leg in a kick to match.

<OOC> Lerro says, "Pin him against the wall so I can stab him."
<OOC> Shintu is trying to pin him to the ground
<OOC> Eldric says, "umm lol i just realized i'm still logging this"
<OOC> Sumta says, "I knew this was going to happen, Eldric.. or something like it."
<OOC> Lerro says, "Well, just immobilize him."
Jagan'iklan leaps back again, but immediately shifts directions and spears Shintu in mid-charge. The two collapse to the deck in a heap of fur and scales. However, there is something else - trace amounts of white liquid spilled across the deck. Apparently, Shintu's claws slashed the Jem'Hadar's white tube.

<OOC> Eldric says, "no more Drugs for Jagan :P"
<OOC> Eldric says, "btw jagan=ang? or Mace?"
Sumta rushes over to Shintu, looking over his condition.
Shintu rolls a bit as he growls, glaring at the Jem'hadar. He moves quickly while He is down to pin him and begin to beat him into submission.
<OOC> Sumta says, "Macel."
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Macel."
<OOC> Eldric says, "ok"

Lerro sees the white fluid and smiles, no longer worried about the creature. He would soon lose his fighting ability and steps back, moving towards Sumta, his bet'leH dripping with blood while he watches the fight.

Ruu steels herself, standing up, and turning towards the Jemmie. She takes a deep breath, and begins to run towards the intruder at her full speed, but skitters to a stop as she sees that Shintu has taken care of it.

<Public> Sumta says, "Hey Kersey."
Jagan'iklan returns Shintu's blows punch for punch; however, his vitality seems to be rapidly waning. His breaths are labored, and each punch comes with less and less force.

<Public> Sumta smiles, "You missed the wedding/fight."
<OOC> Jagan'iklan notes that if the Jem'Hadar didn't have exposed white tubes, you'd be dead, Shintu.

<Public> Kersey says, "I'm just reading that"
<Public> Kersey says, "so I take it I'll be in time for the divorce?"
<Public> Sumta says, "Hey, if the Jem'Hadar didn't beam in, it wouldn't have been a fight. :)"
Shintu just keeps punching the Jem'hadar in the face, not caring about the blood seeping from his face, or from his knuckles, he just keeps punching..More or less in a prey/rage mode.
<Public> Sumta says, "I'd imagine Spacedock is at intruder alert right about now."
<OOC> Shintu says, "Perhaps"
Eldric accesses a security panel.

Ruu seems on the verge of passing out, now, crouching down to a kneel near the fight, gripping her head with her hands.
<OOC> Eldric would set it but can't
<OOC> Eldric pokes Moore who is just sitting in a pew watching
After a few more waning punches, the Jem'Hadar collapses to the deck, raising his arms a bit feebly to try and block the punches. As soon as the comlink on his left arm comes close to his face, he rasps into it - "Rehk'resen!"

Lerro kneels down, taking an exercise of his Klingon combat training to level his breathing and heart rate as Shintu finishes off the Jem'Hadar. He holds his bet'leH in one hand against the ground.

And abruptly, the Jem'Hadar becomes an explosion.
<OOC> Ruu says, "of guts, or of fire?"
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Shintu and Lerro are the closest, but you won't be badly hurt."
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Fire and ash."
Sumta starts walking over to Ruu, before the explosion rocks the deck.
<OOC> Jagan'iklan says, "Shintu's body is buffeting the explosion, so he'd take most of the damage."
<OOC> Eldric guesses there will be another wedding/fight :P
Shintu flies backwards, quite a sight really. His arms sprawled outwards, his legs and tail spread out. He flies threw two pews before slaming and cracking the third..
You access a security panel.
[Intercom] Commodore Sumta says, "Medical team to the lounge!"
<OOC> Eldric will @emit the Medical Team

Lerro is caught by the explosion and lifted cleanly from the deck and a few feet backwards before slamming to the deck hard and skidding a few more feet before coming to a stop, his body wretched in pain from the impact, his hand still miraculously gripped onto his tuq honorary bet'leH.

The explosion does it. Ruu finally passes out as she flies backwards from the explosion, sliding to a stop on her back as she lands on the floor.
<OOC> Eldric says, "this kinda reminds me of a Final Fanatsy kind of movie"
As for the Jem'Hadar... well, there's nothing left of him save for the polaron pistol he dropped, his dented kar'takin, and the white spilled across the deck. The deck itself gapes open in one place, and crewmen in the quarters below stare into the lounge.
Sumta rushes over to Shintu, taking out her medical kit, and starting medical treatment in an attempt to save his life.
Shintu looks like hell. He bleeds from his stomach area, where most of the clothes has been singed or vaporized. His left arm bleeds from a deep gash, as well as his knuckles and face. He mutters a simple word "ow" before passing out.
the Medical team arrives consisting 2 doctors and a Nurse running in the room and looking aorund for the emergency
From his vantage point near the altar, the Chaplain blinks, then rises to an unsteady stand. "I... uh... now pronounce you man and wife," he offers lamely.
<OOC> Shintu says, "LOL!"
<OOC> Eldric says, "ROFL"
<OOC> Sumta bursts out laughing.
