Phoenix says, "if you feel as a player.. and not as the character.. that you have been locked up too long with out any interaction from other players and you are bored.."

Phoenix says, "the realistic stuff your character does is called IC over here."
Phoenix says, "stuff that you the player do is called OOC"

Phoenix says, "like for instance... I the player sitting here in New Jersey behind my computer.. is hot.. that is OOC."
Phoenix says, "I this character Phoenix.. am an administrator that does not affect the IC world of this game.. I am OOC.."
Phoenix says, "but my other character.. Szar.. a bajoran.. is In Character"
Phoenix says, "She has a role.. and impacts the world of this game."

Phoenix says, "it is an area that I meet to talk with players sometimes that need my help."
Phoenix says, "there are ooc lounges where players can talk about OOC stuff"

Phoenix says, "and where you can make friends with other players who your character would not ordinarily mean in IC"
Phoenix says, "like as a Federation person.. you might not ever meet my Bajoran named Szar"
Phoenix says, "but in the OOC area that is possible."
Phoenix says, "Players who cannot discern OOC from IC.. get alot of problems when they play MUSHes.. they get a label called twink."
Phoenix says, "which means in short.. they cannot determine IC from OOC... or it can also mean that they are generally a pain in the ass."
Phoenix says, "and I don't want you to get that term applied to you."
Phoenix says, "I will tell them to play with you or let you go ok?"
Phoenix says, "but your character has to stop acting like a nut"
Phoenix says, "and also you will have to explain in character why you were behaving that way.."
Phoenix says, "if you need alittle help in that department I can help you there to."
