Fiscardo
Fiskardo is situated 54 Km northeast of
Argostoli, the island’s capital. 
It is a beautiful and picturesque fishing village with
many fishing boats
moor
alongside.
It is the
only Kefalonian village left intact after the earthquake of 1953.
All the
buildings have been preserved and are today under a special
preservation
law in order to retain their traditional appearance while
most of
them are operating as restaurants, shops
and cafes.
